In a simple system, the control schemes work well provided that the characteristic of the plant or the coefficients are known and fixed. But the condition is not met in the system like satellite, for example, varying over time and the coefficients of dynamic system change due to disturbance, etc, and the better precise model is required to control the given dynamic system well. Conversely, the fixed controller make the unmodel dynamic system with a wide class of modelling error be stable within the error tolerance limits. Also, a robust model reference adaptive control scheme is designed for the plant, paying attention to the derivation of the appropriate parametric model and the design of the normalizing signal to guarantee that it has the desired properties.

Enhancement of the accuracy of products and productivity are essential to survive in a global industrial competition. This trend requires tighter dimensional tolerance specifications. To actively cope with the rapid change of the workpiece material and cutter geometry, a general method that can predict and analyze the machined surface is needed. Surface generation model for the prediction of the topography of machined surfaces is developed based on cutting force model considering cutter deflection and runout. This paper presents the method that constructs the three-dimensional machined surface error following the movement of a cutter, irrespective of the variations of cutting conditions. In addition, the effects of the cutting forces and the kink shape on the machined surface are extensively investigated.
For automated vehicles, the integrity and fault tolerance of environment perception sensor have been an important issue. This paper presents radar, vision, lidar(laser radar) fusion-based fault detection algorithm for autonomous vehicles. In this paper, characteristics of each sensor are shown. And the error of states of moving targets estimated by each sensor is analyzed to present the method to detect fault of environment sensors by characteristic of this error. Each estimation of moving targets isperformed by EKF/IMM method. To guarantee the reliability of fault detection algorithm of environment sensor, various driving data in several types of road is analyzed.

In this paper, a fault-tolerant Mini-MAP system with high reliability is proposed. For fault-tolerance, the LLC sublayer, MAC sublayer, and physical layer of the Mini-MAP system are dualized. The detection of faults, the replacement of the failed network, and the management of the network are three major functions required for the dualization, and they are performed by ESM(Error Supervisory Machine), EMM(Error Management Machine), and NMM(Network Management Machine) of the proposed fault-tolerant Mini-MAP system, respectively. The ring maintenance function of the MAC sublayer is used for the detection of the faults. In the proposed fault-tolerant Mini-MAP system, the data are received from both of the dualized networks and transmitted to the selected one of the two. We analyze the reliability and the MTTF(Mean Time To Failure) of the proposed fault-tolerant Mini-MAP system and show that it has better performance compared to a general Mini-MAP system.

A gearbox can be regarded as a self-exciting dynamic system, which has a vibration source. Transmission error (TE) is considered to be an main excitation source for gear noise and vibration. The TE excitation is transmitted through the gears, shafts, bearings, and housings. Thus, an experimental approach to each mechanical parts is useful in order to understand and evaluate the dynamic behaviour of a gearbox. This study is focused on the transmission and vibration characteristics of a helical gear system in development stage. In addition, by considering the tolerance factors and resonance characteristics, the vibration response of actual dynamic system is analysed.

In this paper, Dynamic Fault Tree algorithm(DFT algorithm) is presented. This new algorithm provides a concise representation of dynamic fault tolerance system structure with redundancy, dynamic redundancy management and complex fault & error recovery techniques. And it allows the modeler to define a dynamic fault tree model with the relative advantages of both fault tree and Markov models that captures the system structure and dynamic behavior. This algorithm applies to TMR and Dual-Duplex systems with the dynamic behavior and show that this algorithm captured the dynamic behavior in these systems with fault & error recovery technique, sequence-dependent failures and the use dynamic spare. The DFT algorithm for solving the problems of the systems is more effective than the Markov and Fault tree analysis model.

In the existing ICT technique, the mounted electronic devices on the printed circuit board are tested whether the devices are good or not by comparing and measuring the value of the devices after separating the devices to be tested from around it based on the guarding method. But, in case that resistance, inductor and capacitor are configured as a parallel circuit on the circuit pattern, values for each device can not be measured because the total impedance value of the parallel circuit is measured. Accordingly, it is impossible to test whether the parallel circuit is good or not in case that the measured impedance value is within the tolerance error. Also, it is difficult to identify that which device among R, L and C of the parallel circuit is bad in case that the measured impedance value is out of the tolerance error. Accordingly, this paper proposes a test method which can enhance the quality and productivity by separating and measuring accurately R, L and C components from the RLC parallel circuits on the device-mounted printed circuit board. First, the RLC parallel circuit to be test is separated electrically from around it using three-terminal guarding technique. And then R, L and C values are computed based on the total impedance values and phase angles between voltage and current of the parallel circuit measured from two AC input signals with other frequency, Finally, the availability and accuracy of the proposed test method is verified by reviewing the simulation results.

In this paper, we present the design of an electromagnetic scanning mirror with torsional springs. The scanning mirror consisting of torsional springs and electromagnetic coils was designed for the applications of laser animation systems. We analyzed and optimized three types of torsional springs, namely, straight beam springs (SBS), classic serpentine springs (CSS), and rotated serpentine springs (RSS). The torsional springs were analyzed in terms of electrical resistance, fabrication error tolerance, and resonance mode separation of each type using analytical formula or numerical analysis. The RSS has advantages over the others as follows: 1) A low resistance of conductors, 2) wide resonance mode separation, 3) strong fabrication error tolerance, 4) a small footprint. The double-layer coils were chosen instead of single-layer coils with respect to electromagnetic forces. It resulted in lower power consumption. The geometry of the scanning mirror was optimized by calculations; RSS turn was 12 and the width of double-layer coil was $100{\mu}m$, respectively. When the static rotational angle is 5 degrees, the power consumption of the mirror plate was calculated to be 9.35 mW since the resistance of the coil part and a current is $122{\Omega}$ and 8.75 mA, respectively. The power consumption of full device including the mirror plate and torsional springs was calculated to be 9.63 mW.
This is to study the accuracy of the actual size according to the TOD(table object distance; TOD) change when measuring blood vessels using angiography equipment, and to help the optimal selection of the device used accordingly. Balls similar to the size of common vessels were calibrated with TOD using 30 mm, 20 mm, 10 mm, 5 mm and acrylic phantoms, catheter calibration from 0 cm to 10 cm, 20 cm and 30 cm, respectively. It was measured whether there was a change in the measured value according to the change. The equipment used was GE Innova 3131 IQ equipment, and the image reconstruction method was GE AW4.7 post processing program. Two radiotechnologists were scanned three times by catheter calibration method and 3DRA(3dimension rotational angiography; 3DRA) volume rendering method. The independent sample T-test showed 0.981 (p> 0.05) to verify the significance between the two observers. As a result, in case of catheter calibration, the error rate at TOD 0 mm and 10 mm is within ± 10%, but when the TOD is changed to 20 mm and 50 mm respectively, the tolerance is ± 10% except for 30 mm ball exceeded. On the other hand, 3DRA was included within the tolerance range of ± 10% overall even when the TOD was changed from 0 mm to 50 mm. In the catheter calibration method, the larger the TOD, the larger the error range, and the 3DRA method was able to measure vascular vessels accurately close to the actual measurement without any consideration of the TOD.
