원자력발전소 증기터빈 발전기의 부하차단 모의시험 (A simulation test of lone rejection for steam turbine generator in nuclear power plant)

  • A steam turnine in thermal/nuclear power plant drives generator and maintains it at rated speed using high temperature and high pressure steam energy. After synchronization in parallel with the power system, generator output increases according as the governor, that is the controller, increases steam flow into turbine. By the way, as the steam flow into turbine can not be reduced fast even though the electrical load is lost, the turbine gets into dangerous situation due to the increase of its speed. At this time, the duty of the turbine governor is to limit the speed to its overspeed trip setpoint by stopping the steam flow as soon as possible, the test of which is called load rejection test. It is introduced in this paper for a simulation test of generator load rejection to be implemented on the turbine governor in a 600MW nuclear power plant before its startup.

타이어공기압에 따른 트랙터의 견인성능과 토양다짐 (The Effects of Tire Inflation Pressure on Soil Compaction and Tractive Performance of Tractor)

  • 본 연구에서는 타이어의 공기압이 농용트랙터의 견인성능과 토양다짐에 미치는 효과를 실험적으로 조사하였으며, 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1) 타이어공기압에 따른 트랙터의 견인성능 실험 결과, 공기압의 감소는 트랙터의 운동저항은 감소시키고, 견인력과 견인효율은 증대시키는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 연약지에서 운용되는 트랙터는 공기압의 조절을 통해(최소 허용 공기압까지 타이어공기압의 감소를 통해) 견인성능과 작업성능을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 2) 트랙터의 타이어공기압과 통과횟수의 증가는 모두 토양다짐을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 토양다짐을 줄이기 위해서는 트랙터가 통과한 궤적상을 연속해서 통과할 수 있도록 작업 계획을 세우면 전체 경작 면적에 대한 토양 다짐을 줄일 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 또한 타이어의 공기압을 최소 허용 공기압 수준까지 감소시킬 경우 토양다짐을 최소화할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 3) 위의 결과로부터 트랙터의 작업성능의 향상과 토양다짐의 최소화는 타이어공기압의 조절을 통해 어느 정도 이를 수 있는 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해서는 운전석에 설치된 제어판을 통해 지면의 상태에 따라 타이어의 공기압을 운전자가 쉽게 조절할 수 있는 최첨단 기술인 CTI시스템을 농용트랙터에 적용하는 연구가 필요한 것으로 판단된다.

조향계 유압 시미댐퍼의 성능해석 프로그램 개발 (Development of Performance Analysis Program for a Hydraulic Shimmy Damper of Steering System)

  • A program to analyze the performance characteristics of a hydraulic shimmy damper for automotive steering system was developed in this study. Dimensionless mathematical equations of the dynamics of shimmy damper for forward and reverse fluid flows were derived respectively and incorporated into the Simulink models. The program was validated by comparing the results of simulation and experiments for various frequencies of upstream ripple pressures into the damper. Low-pass filter characteristics of the shimmy damper at reverse flow was demonstrated which means that the shimmy damper could alleviate the high speed ripple pressures induced by the unbalance oscillation of tire in vehicle driving. The parameter sensitivity analysis was also conducted to identify the dominant parameters for the damper performance.

STUDY ON RIDE QUALITY OF A HEAVY-DUTY OFF-ROAD VEHICLE WITH A NONLINEAR HYDROPNEUMATIC SPRING

  • Based on a two-degree of freedom vehicle model, this paper investigates ride comfort for a heavy off-road vehicle mounted a nonlinear hydropneumatic spring, which is influenced by nonlinear stiffness and damping characteristics of the hydropneumatic spring. Especially, the damping force is derived by applying H. Blasius formula in modeling process according to the real physical structure of the hydropneumatic spring, and the established model of nonlinear stiffness characteristics have been validated by experiments. Furthermore, the effects of parameter variations of the hydropneumatic spring, such as initial charge pressure and damping coefficient, on body acceleration, suspension deflection and dynamic tire deflection are also investigated.

  • In many industrial processes, there are more than two responses (i.e., yield, percent impurity, etc.) of interest, and it is desirable to determine the optimal levels of the factors (i.e., temperature, pressure, etc.) that influence the responses. Suppose the response relationships are assumed to be approximated by second-order polynomial regression models. The problems considered in this paper is, first, to propose how to select polynomial terms to fit the multivariate regression surfaces for a given set of data, and, second, to propose how to analyze the data to obtain an optimal operating condition for the factors. The proposed techniques were applied for empirical process optimization in a tire company in Korea. This case is presented as an illustration.

  • The essence of ABS(Anti-skid Brake System) control is to continuously adjust brake pressure to maintain optimum brake torque. This optimum level should balance tire and runway friction its peak value, yielding maximum braking deceleration. It influences not only the deceleration and the taxing distance of an aircraft, but also the strength and the fatigue life of the landing gear. In this paper, an ABS control algorithm is developed with a dynamics model of 5-DOFD(Degree of Freedom). The algorithm is verified by simulations and the simulation results are presented. The dynamics model is simulated by the computer.

터널 내 콘크리트포장 표면처리공법 별 탑승자의 주행쾌적성 평가 (Evaluation on Riding comfort of A Passenger with Various Surface Textures of Concrete Pavement in Tunnels)

  • PURPOSES : The purpose of this article is to compare and evaluate the riding comfort of a passenger in tunnels depending on different surface textures of concrete pavement. METHODS : Evaluation of riding comfort is conducted at 17 sections, which have different surface texture such as transverse tinned(TT), longitudinal tinned(LT) and diamond grinded(DG). A triaxial accelerometer was set up on the passenger seat surface of the test vehicle to measure vibrations of an occupant, then the effects of vibration on comfort and health were evaluated by ISO 2631. And microphones were installed at passenger's ears height to measure sound pressure level(SPL) in the test vehicle. Additionally, a surface microphone was installed on the inside of wheel arch to evaluate noise between tire and pavement by NCPX method. All tests were conducted cruising at 100km/h. RESULTS : The results of all tests are as follows. First, both vibration magnitudes for comfort and for health in LT and DG sections are almost same and they represent lower than those in TT sections. Second, the average SPL of DG shows the lowest decibels among them. And third, it is founded that interior noise is significantly affected by noise between tire and pavement. CONCLUSIONS : It may be concluded that DG can provide more excellent riding comfort to passenger than LT or TT. Therefore, it is necessary to consider applying DG to existing pavement surface to improve surface condition when the driving environment especially requires riding comfort like a long tunnel.

오프로드차량의 슬립-견인력 관계의 평가에 사용되는 ASAE 제로조건에 관한 연구 (A Study on Zero-Condition of ASAE for Estimating Slip-Traction Relationship of Off-Road Vehicles)

  • Traction performance of off-road vehicles is estimated using slip-traction relationships Two zero condition accepted by ASAE have been used widely to obtain the slip-traction relationships of off-road vehicles. This study was carried out using the soil bin systems to investigate the characteristic of slip-traction curves obtained using two zero conditions defined by ASAE. which are driving and driven zero condition, and to present disadvantage of slip-traction relationship based on two zero conditions of ASAE. The results of this study are summarized as follows : 1. For the driving zero condition, the curve of slip-traction relationship shows some issues. The first question is that the slip is zero when the traction is zero. The second question is that the value of slip is smaller than that of corresponding real slip, as the rolling radius decreased f3r the setting zero condition with driving wheel. 2. For the driven zero condition. slip occurs when the traction is zero, which is more realistic results than driving zero condition. But when a zero condition is set, skid occurs and this result increased the rolling radius of tire and increased slip value f3r the specific traction value of whole slip range. This kind of trend was getting bigger as the soil is softer, or the tire inflation pressure is higher. 3. From the results of this study, it was found that slip-traction relationship obtained by two zero conditions of ASAE is not realistic in estimating the traction performance of off-road vehicles. And also slip-traction relationship obtained for the same experimental condition showed different result in accordance with chosen zero condition,

간략화된 점탄성 모델을 적용한 고무 컴파운드의 압출 해석 (Computer Simulation of Die Extrusion for Rubber Compound Using Simplified Viscoelastic Model)

  • 점탄성 흐름의 특성은 압출시 다이 스웰 현상에서 확인 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 점탄성 특성을 갖는 고무 컴파운드를 모세관 다이에서 비선형 점탄성 모델인 PTT 모델과 간략화된 점탄성 모델을 이용하여 압출현상을 모사하고 다이 스웰을 실험과 비교 하였다. 실험은 Fluidity Tester를 이용하였고 해석은 상용화된 CFD Code인 Polyflow를 이용하였다. 두 모델에 의해 예측된 다이 스웰은 실험과 유사한 결과를 보였다. 그러나 PTT 모델에서는 압력과 속도분포, 레저버의 모서리에서의 와류현상을 예측할 수 있었지만 간략화된 점탄성 모델에서는 예측할 수 없었다. 간략화된 점탄성 모델은 다이 내부의 세밀한 흐름현상을 예측하지는 못하지만 다이 스웰은 잘 예측할 수 있으며 PTT모델보다 해석시간이 매우 짧아서 이의 응용에 큰 장점을 갖고 있다고 판단된다.

뒷채움 시공시의 다짐토압 특성 (Characteristics of Developed Earth Pressure by Backfill Compaction)

  • 콘크리트 구조물과 토공의 인접부인 구조물 뒷채움의 구조적 연속성을 위해서는 뒷채움 시공이 중요하다. 뒷채움부의 구조적 연속성을 증가시키기 위해서는 양질의 뒷채움재 사용과 대형 진동다짐장비에 의한 정밀다짐이 효과적이다. 그러나 정밀다짐시에 발생하는 과도한 토압에 의해 암거 구조물에 구조적 결함이 발생할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 다짐재와 다짐방법을 변화시키면서 2개소의 암거를 건설하였다. 뒷채움재로는 선택층재와 노상토재를 사용하였다. 뒷채움 다짐시에 큰 다짐에너지를 얻기 위하여 대부분의 경우 총중량 11~12톤의 다짐롤러를 2000rpm 에서 2400rpm의 주파수로 적용하였다. 노상토를 사용하여 뒷채움 시공을 하는 경우에는 충격완화재를 설치하여 동적 수평하중에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 충격완화재로는 EPS재와 타이어 칩을 사용한 패널들을 사용하였으며, 뒷채움 시공시에 이들 충격완화재를 암거의 외벽체에 부탁하였다. 본 논문에서는 콘크리트 암거의 뒷채움 시공시에 발생하는 동적지응력 특성을 기술하였다. 계측 결과, 다짐하중에 의한 수직토압과 수평토압의 크기는 다짐재료, 다짐 측정깊이 및 다짐방법에 의존하고 있었다. 뒷채움 다짐시에는 정적토압계수 보다 큰 동적토압계수$(\DeltaK_{dyn}=\DeltaK\sigma_h\DeltaK\sigma_v)$를 나타내고 있어 동적토압에 의해 암거에 유해한 영향을 줄 수 있다. 충격완화재 EPS(t=10cm)와 고무계(t=5cm)는 암거 벽체에 작용하는 동적 수평토압을 경감시키는데 효과적인 것을 알았다.
