TimeML is a markup language for events and temporal expressions in natural language, proposed in Pustejovsky et al. (2003) and latter standardized as ISO-TimeML (ISO 24617-1:2009). In this paper, we propose the further specification of ISO-TimeML for the Korean language with the concrete and thorough examination of real world texts. Since Korean differs significantly from English, which is the first and almost only extensively tested language with TimeML, one continuously run into theoretical and practical difficulties in the application of TimeML to Korean. We focus on the discussion for the consistent and efficient application of TimeML: how to consistently apply TimeML in accordance with Korean specificity and what to be annotated and what not to be, i.e. which information is meaningful in the temporal interpretation of Korean text, for efficient application of TimeML.

Recently, a rate-2, $2{\times}2$ space-time code with simple ML decoding has been designed. Though the simple ML decoding algorithm does reduce the ML decoding complexity, there is still need for improvement. In this paper, we propose an efficient decoding algorithm for the rate-2, $2{\times}2$ space-time code using interference cancellation techniques with performance virtually identical to that of ML decoding. Also, the decoding complexity of the proposed algorithm is significantly reduced compared to the conventional simple ML decoding, especially for large modulation orders.
The advantages of hydrogen peroxide dissolution method were no discharge of noxious matter when dissolution of iron wire which used as the center supporter, reactions occur in room temperature and easy to recover dissolved iron. This study was aimed at gathering the basic data of iron wire dissolution- recovery process and proposes the reaction condition of iron wire dissolution- recovery process rind the factors influencing those reactions. The results were as follows : 1 . Hydrogen peroxide dissolution method used hydrochloric acid as the catalyst. 1. In the dissolution of iron wire(1.668 g), the condition of reaction was E1702(30 ml), HCI(20 ml) and $H_2O$(200 ml) ; time of the reaction was 18 min. P.W.(Piece weight) was 7.75 mg, and C.R. was $2.34{\;}{\Omega}$ 2. In the dissolution of iron wire(1.529 g), the condition of reaction was H7O2(30 ml), HCI(20 ml) and $H_2O$(200 ml), time of the reaction was 21 min., P.W.(Piece weight) was 7.73 mg, and C.R. was $2.35{\;}{\Omega}$. Hydrogen peroxide dissolution method used sulfuric acid as the catalyst. 1. In the dissolution of iron wire(0.834 g), the condition of reaction was $H_2O$(65 ml), $H_2SO_4$(5 ml) and 1702(5 ml) ; time of the reaction was 5 min.30 sec, P.W.(Piece weight) was 7.74 mg, and C.R. was $2.33{\;}{\Omega}$ 2. In the dissolution of iron wire(1.112 g), the condition of reaction was $H_2O$(65 ml), $H_2SO_4$(5 ml) and $H_2O_2$(5 ml) ; time of the reaction was 4 min.30 sec, P.W.(Piece weight) was 7.75 mg, and C.R. was $2.33{\;}{\Omega}$. Hydrogen peroxide dissolution method used hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid as the catalyst confirmed a clean technology, because there were not occurred a pollutant discharged in the existing method.
A simple and rapid method to estimate the viscosity of chitosan using laboratory pipettes was developed. The voscosities of nine different chitosan samples, prepared ini 1 % acetic acid at a 1% concentration , were measured with a standard viscometer. Prior to measurement of flow time of 1% chitosan solution with a pipette, twelve pipettes were assorted into three groups with flow times of 4, 5 and 6 sec after measuring passage of 9 ml of 1% acetic acid througth a 10 ml pipette. With each group of pipettes. flow time of 1% chitosan solution was determined by measuring the delivery time of 5 ml of the 10ml solution through a 10 ml pipette. Results of regression analyses revealed high linear relationship(R2=0.9812, 0.9663, and 0.9754) between viscosities calculated with a viscometer and flow times measured with 4, 5 or 6 sec group pipettes. The viscosity of chitosan could be readily and accurately estimated from these linear regression equation by measuring flow times based on pipette delivery.

To locate an object accurately in the wireless sensor networks, the distance measure based on time-delay plays an important role. In this paper, we propose a maximum likelihood (ML) time-delay estimation algorithm in multi-path wireless propagation channel. We get the joint probability density function after sampling the frequency domain response of the multi-path channel, which could be obtained by the vector network analyzer. Based on the ML criterion, the time-delay values of different paths are estimated. Considering the ML function is non-linear with respect to the multi-path time-delays, we first obtain the coarse values of different paths using the subspace fitting algorithm, then take them as an initial point, and finally get the ML time-delay estimation values with the pattern searching optimization method. The simulation results show that although the ML estimation variance could not reach the Cramer-Rao lower bounds (CRLB), its performance is superior to that of subspace fitting algorithm, and could be seen as a fine algorithm.
The paper aims to analyze and predict sales of liquor in the state of Iowa by applying machine learning algorithms to models built for prediction. We have taken recourse of Azure ML and Spark ML for our predictive analysis, which is legacy machine learning (ML) systems and Big Data ML, respectively. We have worked on the Iowa liquor sales dataset comprising of records from 2012 to 2019 in 24 columns and approximately 1.8 million rows. We have concluded by comparing the models with different algorithms applied and their accuracy in predicting the sales using both Azure ML and Spark ML. We find that the Linear Regression model has the highest precision and Decision Forest Regression has the fastest computing time with the sample data set using the legacy Azure ML systems. Decision Tree Regression model in Spark ML has the highest accuracy with the quickest computing time for the entire data set using the Big Data Spark systems.
This study was performed to identify the normal anatomic orientation of pulmonary arteries and to obtain the normal baseline parameters and the optimal contrast material delivery methods of computed tomographic pulmonary angiography (CTPA) on normal beagle dogs. Based on the contrast injection flow rate, the contrast volume, and the administration methods, the experimental groups were divided into 4 groups such as group 1 : 2 ml/s, 3 ml/kg, and monophasic administration; group 2 : 5 ml/s, 3 ml/kg, and monophasic administration; group 3 : 5 ml/s, 4 ml/kg, and monophasic administration; group 4 : 5 ml/s and 2 ml/kg in first phase, 0.3 ml/s and 2 ml/kg in second phase, as biphasic administration. Normal anatomic orientation of pulmonary arteries in CTPA was evaluated through reformatted and 3D images after retro-reconstruction. Normal parameters for great arteries and peripheral pulmonary arteries were obtained on the factor of basement hounsfield unit (HU) values, contrast enhanced HU values, delay time, and peak time. And the optimal contrast delivery methods were evaluated on the factor of contrast enhanced HU values, image quality, and artifact. The monophasic administration with 5 ml/s contrast injection flow rate and 3 ml/kg contrast volume was optimal in canine CTPA.
Eight 2-yr old bulls from Artificial Breeding Center, NLCF were used to determine the effectof collection frequency on semen characteristics and sexual activity. Two successive ejaculates per day were collected by artificial vagina for 4 weeks on weekly or twice a week. Total ejaculate volume included 2nd ejaculates for one time and two time bulls was 6.8ml and 6.0ml, but there was no significant difference between collection intervals. Sperm concentration of one time and two time bulls averaged 0.79$\times$109/ml and 0.89$\times$109/ml, respectively. Total sperm per ejaculate was 5.14$\times$109 for one time bulls and 5.45$\times$10 for two time bulls. Two time bulls had slight more sperm per ml and ejaculate than one time bulls, but there were no significant differences between two group bulls. Sperm motility and semen pH of two time bulls was slightly better than that of one time bulls. In changes of bulk minerals in semen, solium concentration of two time bulls was similar to that of one time bulls. Potassium and calcium was more concentrated in one time bulls than in two time bulls, but these concentrations did not differ significantly. Libido score for two time bulls was higher than that for one time bulls. However, there was no difference between two groups and these scores did not change for 4 weeks in two goups. Total time to 2nd ejaculation was 16.3 sec for one time bulls and 20.5 sec for two time bulls.
The aim of this study was to assess the estimates of the time of ovulation and mating derived by plasma progesterone concentration. The 40 mature Korea Jin-do bitches were monitored to determine the plasma progesterone concentrations from proestrus to parturition. Gestation length in the 30 pregnant bitches was $63.9{\pm}2.3$ ($mean{\pm}SD$) days in multiparous bitches and $61.8{\pm}3.6$ days in primiparous bitches when Day 0 was timed from the first day of male acceptance, and $61.4{\pm}1.8$ days and $61.3{\pm}2.7$ days when Day 0 was timed from the day of first mating, respectively. Also, gestation length was $63.1{\pm}1.4$ days, $62.4{\pm}1.1$ days and $61.5{\pm}0.9$ days in multiparous bitches, and $62.6{\pm}1.4$ days, $62.4{\pm}2.0$ days and $61.6{\pm}2.3$ days in primiparous bitches when Day 0 was timed from the day that plasma progesterone concentration was first increased above 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0ng/ml, respectively, and $53.8{\pm}3.1$ days and $54.8{\pm}2.6$ days when Day 0 was timed from the last day of male acceptance, respectively. In 30 pregnant bitches, plasma progesterone concentration was $0.2{\pm}0.2ng/ml$ in multiparous bitches and $0.7{\pm}0.8ng/ml$ in primiparous bitches at the first day of vulval bleeding, $1.9{\pm}1.0$ and $3.3{\pm}2.7ng/ml$ at the first day of male acceptance, $7.0{\pm}4.0$ and $9.3{\pm}6.2ng/ml$ at the day of first mating, and $25.1{\pm}6.3$ and $22.8{\pm}10.3ng/ml$ at the last day of male acceptance, respectively. When Day 0 was timed from the day of parturition, plasma progesterone concentration at Day -62, Day -63 and Day -64 was $4.7{\pm}2.7ng/ml$, $3.5{\pm}2.2ng/ml$ and $1.7{\pm}0.9ng/ml$ in multiparous bitches, and $5.3{\pm}4.4ng/ml$, $3.2{\pm}3.7ng/ml$ and $2.0{\pm}1.9ng/ml$ in primiparous bitches, respectively. When Day 0 was timed from the day that plasma progesterone concentration was first increased above 3.0ng/ml after the first day of vulval bleeding, plasma progesterone concentration at Day 61 and Day 62 was $2.7{\pm}2.2ng/ml$ and $1.4{\pm}1.9ng/ml$ in multiparous bitches, and $3.4{\pm}5.2ng/ml$ and $3.7{\pm}5.6ng/ml$ in primiparous bitches, and $0.8{\pm}0.7ng/ml$ and $0.9{\pm}0.4ng/ml$ at Day 63, respectively. It was that bitches were mated when plasma progesterone concentraion was 1.9 to 14.2ng/ml and 3.5 to 20.0ng/ml in multiparous and primiparous bitches, which was between first day before ovulation and fourth day after ovulation. And pregnancy rate was 92% (23/25). From these data, ovulation was estimated to occur the day when plasma progesterone concentration was first increased above 3.0ng/ml after the first day of vulval bleeding. It was estimated that mating time was the day when plasma progesterone concentration was between 1.9 and 20.0ng/ml, and best time for mating was between 3.0 and 8.0ng/ml of plasma progesterone concentration.
