  • This study is to analyze the effect of participation in sports for all on the formation of social capital. For this purpose, this study used convenience sampling method with the 150 subjects who participated Sports for All in Seoul and Gyeonggi area. and selected 150 questionnaires excluding 30 unsuitable for the data. For data analysis was made by SPSS 17.0, performing exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression model. This analysis reveals that (1) participation eagerness in sports for all influence on influence on the formation of social capital.(social capital consist of information sharing, norms, trust, network) (2) participation period of time and participation frequency in sports for all don't influence on on the formation of social capital. (3) socioeconomic background don't influence on the formation of social capital. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the eagerness in sports for all.

  • Cognitive Radio is an intelligent interference avoidance idle spectrum communication system for your environment and actively determine the frequency bandwidth recycling by sharing the spectrum in a way that maximizes the efficiency of radio resource technology. At this time, this does not cause interference to the PU spectrum sensing technology is important. If you can choose, depending on the state of the channel spectrum sensing algorithm will be more efficient sensing. Matched filter detection system model that reflects the individual sensing through a fuzzy controller in this paper, energy detection and self-correlation detection are proposed and analyzed.

  • Temperature variation affect the response of asphalt pavement and should be considered in the evaluation of performance of the pavement. In this paper, HWAW method is applied to evaluate shear wave velocity(or shear modulus) of the asphalt pavement with temperature. HWAW method which is based on time-frequency analysis using harmonic wavelet transform have been developed to determine phase and group velocities of waves. This method minimize effect of noise and is not affected by mode jump effect which cause erroneous result when surface wave method is applied to pavement evaluation. In order to estimate the applicability of HWAW method, field tests were performed in 1 site and preliminary correlation between shear wave velocity(shear modulus) and asphalt pavement average temperature.

  • This paper presents a macro script to analyze numeric sounds by a speech analysis shareware, Praat, and analyzes those sounds produced by three students who were born and raised in Pusan. Recording was done in a quiet office. To make a meaningful comparison, dynamic time points in relation to the total duration of voicing segments were determined to measure acoustical values. Results showed that a strong correlation coefficient was found between the repetitive production of numeric sounds within and across the speakers. Very high coefficients among diphthongal numbers (0 and 6) which usually show wide formant variation were noticed. This supports that each speaker produced numbers quite coherently. Also, the frequency differences between the three subjects were within a perceptually similar range. To identify a speaker among others may require to find subtle individual differences within this range. Perceptual experiments by synthesized numeric sounds may lead to resolve the issue.

  • Spatial variability of ground motions has significant influence on dynamic response of longitudinal structures such as bridges and tunnels. The coherency function, which quantifies the degree of positive or negative correlation between two ground motions, is often used to describe the spatially variable ground motions. This paper compares two available procedures for developing spatially variable ground time histories from a given coherency function. Hao's method shows serious limitation, resulting in unrealistic decrease in coherency with increase in distance Abrahamason's method, on the other hand, preserves important characteristics of the reference ground motion. Therefore, the Abrahamason's method is recommended to be used in developing spatially varying ground motions.

  • Recently, Optical BJTC as a new approach for real-time multi-target tracking has been intensively studied. But the conventional system has some problems in the practical applications such as the false alarm and target missing and low correlation efficiency, and these poor performances are analyzed to be deeply dependent on the binarization method. So, in this paper, a new BJTC system which has the improved performances in target discrimination and diffraction efficiency is suggested, which is based on the JTPS having the same properties with those of the matched filter and new power spectrum binarization method to use effectively the high frequency components of the JTPS signal. Through the computer simulation and some experiments, the performances of the new BJTC tracking system are analyzed and proved to be superior to those of the conventional system baseds on Median method in multi- target tracking problems.

  • This study intends to provide basic informations on the rural elderly women's health status and health care practices which can be utilized for the welfare policies. Participants in this study are 133 elderly women over 60 who are lived in rural area. For the data analysis, Frequency, Correlation, Crosstabs, Oneway-Anova and LSD test are used. Physical health status is slightly lower than psychological health status and they are related to respondent's age, coresidence type, subjective economic status, subjective health status, participation in farming and health care type. Eighty-two percent of (he respondents perceived their health condition as poor and Neuralgia is the most frequent health problem. Women's health care practices are passive and somewhat restricted by age, educational status, coresidence type, necessary time to medical institution, and health status.

  • We present a new procedure to evaluate the residual life of 1Cr-1Mo-0.25V steel from reversible magnetic permeability. The method is based on the existence of first harmonics in the differential magnetization around the coercive force. The apparatus is based on the detection of the voltage induced in a coil using a lock-in amplifier tuned to the frequency of the exciting coil. Results obtained for the first harmonics and Vickers hardness on aged samples show that the peak interval of reversible permeability and Vickers hardness decrease as aging time increases. The correlation between Vickers hardness and the peak interval of the reversible permeability may be used to evaluate the residual life of 1Cr-lMo-0.25V steel, nondestructively.

  • In this paper, diagnosis for 85 high voltage induction motors which have operated for more than 20 years in 18 wide area water supply offices were applied and the results of diagnosis were analysed. Furthermore, main factors that would be affecting rotor defects were selected and correlations between dependent variables which was magnitude for sideband frequency on current during operation and independent variables such as starting characteristic, operating time, number of operation, load factor, maker, rotation speed, capacity were analysed. It was clear that factors including starting characteristic, number of operation, maker, rotation speed caused break by correlation analysis. From this, regression equation was deduced through regression analysis. Based on suggested regression equation, it is applied usefully that we can estimate the condition of rotor without onsite diagnosis and plan the schedule of diagnosis.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the infuluential variables between general character, social support and stress of family caregivers for disordered elderly family and family supporters for general elderly. The study was conducted through interviews with 177 family caregivers and questionaires with 218 supporters in Taegu and Kyeongbuk province. The data were analysed with the spss $pc^+$ statistical package using frequency, correlation, multiple regression, and path anaysis. As results of this study were as follows: Disordered elderly family; degree of physical and psychological disorder, caring-time per day, social support are important factors affecting the stress. General elderly family; digree of physical and psychological disorder, monthly family income, social support are important factors affecting the stress.
