The response characteristics of the forced vibration generated when the high-damped vehicle pass the bumped barrier was studied, and in particular, the response behavior of displacement, velocity and acceleration was analyzed for the forced vibration model. In addition, in order to obtain responses such as displacement, velocity, and acceleration, a numerical analysis technique of the Runge-Kutta-Gill method was performed in time domain. The response was successfully obtained in detail under several high damping conditions. As a numerical analysis result, the response of the vehicle was obtained by considering the vehicle body to which the impulse impact was applied. Also, the analysis result was compared with the experimental result in order to verify the validity of vehicle model. The amplitude and natural frequency of the vehicle were considered and analyzed. The Nyquist diagram of the vehicle model was also obtained and the relationship could be analyzed. And the vibration response was analyzed on different mass, damping and stiffness.
Vibrations in the pipe system trigger fatigue-related issues and lead to fatal other problems caused by pipe damage. There are numerous studies to analyze and reduce the cause of pipe vibration, among which a small number of studies are being conducted on pipe vibration reduction using friction supports. The study of friction supports, however, focused only on predicting and evaluating the performance of the friction supports and seldomly considered the design perspective of the install location of the supports. Therefore, this study intends to suggest the optimization process for finding the best installation region of friction support to attenuate the vibration of entire piping system. The optimal position of the friction support is predicted only by linear analysis to guarantee optimization efficiency in the design process. The designed friction support location is verified by time domain analysis.

In this paper, the peformance of a statistical packet voice/data multiplexer is studied. In ths study we assume that in the packet voice/data multiplexer two separate finite queues are used for voice and data traffics, and that voice traffic gets priority over data. For the performance analysis we divide the output link of the multiplexer into a sequence of time slots. The voice signal is modeled as an (M+1) - state Markov process, M being the packet generation period in slots. As for the data traffic, it is modeled by a simple Poisson process. In our discrete time domain analysis, the queueing behavior of voice traffic is little affected by the data traffic since voice signal has priority over data. Therefore, we first analyze the queueing behavior of voice traffic, and then using the result, we study the queueing behavior of data traffic. For the packet voice multiplexer, both inpur state and voice buffer occupancy are formulated by a two-dimensional Markov chain. For the integrated voice/data multiplexer we use a three-dimensional Markov chain that represents the input voice state and the buffer occupancies of voice and data. With these models, the numerical results for the performance have been obtained by the Gauss-Seidel iteration method. The analytical results have been verified by computer simylation. From the results we have found that there exist tradeoffs among the number of voice users, output link capacity, voic queue size and overflow probability for the voice traffic, and also exist tradeoffs among traffic load, data queue size and oveflow probability for the data traffic. Also, there exists a tradeoff between the performance of voice and data traffics for given inpur traffics and link capacity. In addition, it has been found that the average queueing delay of data traffic is longer than the maximum buffer size, when the gain of time assignment speech interpolation(TASI) is more than two and the number of voice users is small.
Objectives: Cold Hypersensitivity of Hands and Feet (CHHF) has been diagnosed objectively by Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) and has been known to be associated with autonomic nervous system (ANS), which can be assessed by Heart Rate Variability (HRV). This study evaluated the correlation between severity of CHHF and HRV variables. Methods: We studied 155 non-menopausal women with CHHF who visited Kyung Hee University Hospital at Gangdong from 01 October 2013 to 30 April 2016. We measured DITI and HRV of each patient. We used DITI to calculate the severity of CHHF with thermal difference between upper arm (L4, 俠白穴) and palm (P8, 勞宮穴) of both hands and anterior thigh (ST32, 伏兎穴) and dorsum of foot (LI3, 太衝穴) of both feet. The correlation between severity of CHHF and HRV variables were analyzed. Results: In time domain analysis, there was significantly positive correlation between the severity of CHHF and both SDNN and RMSSD. In frequency domain analysis, there was significantly positive correlation between the severity of CHHF and TP, HF and HF Norm while there was significantly negative correlation between the severity of CHHF and LF Norm as well as between the severity of cold hypersensitivity of both hands and LF/HF ratio. Conclusions: The more severe CHHF is, the more increased the function of parasympathetic nerve system (PNS) and relatively decreased the function of sympathetic nerve system (SNS) is. Also, it has known that cold hypersensitivity could be caused by deficiency syndrome and qi deficiency has the same ANS tendency as CHHF. Therefore, in practical fields, this result can be helpful in planning treatment and deciding prognosis in respect of deficiency syndrome.
In this study, the actual state of teaching seven extensive quantities (time, length, capacity, weight, area, angle measure, volume) of measurement domain are analyzed comparatively between the 2015 revised elementary school mathematics curriculum in Korea and the 2017 revised elementary school mathematics curriculum in Japan in terms of comparison in measurement, direct measurement, indirect measurement, and estimation in measurement. From the results of this comparative analysis, some implications for discussion on the development of the next elementary school mathematics textbook and the next elementary mathematics curriculum can be suggested. First, it is necessary to discuss on clarifying the range of handling of comparison, direct measurement, indirect measurement, estimation of seven extensive quantities respectively. Second, it is necessary to discuss on doing direct comparison when intuitive comparison is difficult. Third, it is necessary to discuss on reconsidering indirect comparison of weights. Fourth, it is necessary to discuss on reconsidering measurement using arbitrary units in case of angular measures. Fifth, it is necessary to discuss on dealing with estimating the area of $1cm^2$ and $1m^2$ and the volume of $1cm^3$ and $1m^3$ for the purpose to make rough guesses their size respectively.

Background and Objectives:The objective of this study was to investigate the features of post-thyroidectomy subjective voice disorder by Voice Handicap Index (VHI) and Voice Symptom Scale (VOISS) through aerodynamic analysis and to investigate the appropriate voice therapy intervention. Materials and Methods:Twenty post-thyroidectomy patients who had no recurrent laryngeal nerve paralysis through laryngeal stroboscopy were enrolled for this study. Acoustic and aerodynamic evaluations were performed before operation, 2 weeks and 3 months after operation. Subjective voice evaluation was performed by VHI and VOISS. Aerodynamic evaluation was compared and analysed by maximum phonation time(MPT), phonation threshold pressure(PTP), mean air flow rate(MFR), etc. Subjective voice evaluation was surveyed through VHI and VOISS. To evaluate patients' symptoms related to functional voice disorder, scores on physical domain in VHI and VOISS were selected to be compared for each session. Results: The 10 out of 20 participants who complained of voice symptoms had no significant difference with pre-operation in acoustic evaluation, but all showed higher scores on 2 weeks and 3 months after operation compared to pre-operation, in VHI-physical domain and selected questionnaires in VOISS. They reduced MPT and increased PTP value simultaneously. Laryngeal massage and breathing training were simultaneously treated to them, 5 participants resulting in improvement in MPT and PTP compared to pre-treatment. Conclusion:Patients who complained voice change with no organic damage after thyroidectomy were all shown to have reduced MPT and increased PTP in some by aerodynamic evaluations. Reduced MPT may imply some problem in air flow beneath glottis. Increased PTP suggests much more effort in vocalization mechanism than pre-operation. Comparing aerodynamic evaluations in post-thyroidectomy may provide information on behavioral interventions. Additionally, study on laryngeal massage and breathing training simultaneously treated to patients with such voice disorder is needed to be conducted with larger number of participants.

In order to improve the accuracy of the solution near the boundary in an analysis of viscous flow around an arbitrary boundary which move and be deformed using an Eulerian concept, a level-set based grid deformation method is introduced to concentrate grid points near the boundary. This paper presents a new monitor function which can easily control the level of the concentration of grid points along the boundary. Computations for steady flow around a semi-circular cylinder mounted on the bottom of the flow domain were carried out to check the improvement of the solution using the adaptive grid system with an immersed boundary method. The present numerical results show a good agreement with the solutions obtained by a body fitted grid system and more accurate solutions than those computed with non-adaptive grid system. For the validation of mechanical usefulness of the present method, an expanded analysis of flow around multi-body fixed in the flow domain was carried out. Finally, the present moving adaptive grid method was applied to a two-dimensional bubble rise problem. The computed results show well adapted grid points around the boundary of the bubble at every time and a good agreement with the result calculated by fixed grid system.

The aim of this study is to develop the $^1H$-MRS data postprocessing software for both single-voxel and multi-voxel technique, which plays and important role as a diagnostic tool in clinical field. This software is based on graphical user interface(GUI) under windows operating system of personal computer(PC). In case of single-voxel MRS, both of raw data in time-domain and spectrum data in frequency-domain are simultaneously displayed in a screen. Several functions such as DC correction, zero filling, line broadening, Lorentz-Gauss filtering and phase correction, etc. are included to increase the quality of spectrum data. In case of multi-voxel analysis, spectroscopic image reconstructed by 3-D FFT was displayed as a spectral grid and overlapped over previously obtained T1- or T2-weighted image for the spectra to be spatially registered with the image. The analysis of MRS peaks were performed by obtaining the ratio of peak area. In single-voxel method, statistically processed peak-area ratios of MRS data obtained from normal human brain are presented. Using multi-voxel method, MR spectroscopic image and metabolite image acquired from brain tumor are demonstrated.

As aging infrastructures increase along with time, the efficient maintenance becomes more significant and accurate responses from the sensors are pre-requisite. Among various responses, strain is commonly used to detect damage such as crack and fatigue. Optical fiber sensor is one of the promising sensing techniques to measure strains with high-durability, immunity for electrical noise, long transmission distance. Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) is a point sensor to measure the strain based on reflected signals from the grating, while Brillouin Optic Correlation Domain Analysis (BOCDA) is a distributed sensor to measure the strain along with the optical fiber based on scattering signals. Although the FBG provides the signal with high accuracy and reproducibility, the number of sensing points is limited. On the other hand, the BOCDA can measure a quasi-continuous strain along with the optical fiber. However, the measured signals from BOCDA have low accuracy and reproducibility. This paper proposed a multi-fidelity data-fusion method based on Gaussian Process Regression to improve the fidelity of the strain distribution by fusing the advantages of both systems. The proposed method was evaluated by laboratory test. The result shows that the proposed method is promising to improve the fidelity of the strain.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception of pre-service elementary teachers on the educational approach to metaverse. Questions about metaverse were asked to 71 pre-service elementary teachers who were taking the course 'Study of Textbooks in Elementary Science II'. The results of analyzing the contents of the questions are as follows. The results and conclusions were presented through numerical analysis and static analysis based on the responses to questions presented using the university's LMS system. First, the level of understanding of the metaverse of pre-service elementary teachers is very high. Pre-service elementary teachers, as the MZ generation, are already living in a very fast IT environment that can be the basis of the metaverse, so it would have been helpful to understand the metaverse. Second, the need for the metaverse of pre-service elementary teachers is very high. There was a tendency to think that the perception of pre-service elementary teachers is because the metaverse has many factors that can provide higher quality education beyond the current educational environment. Third, in the question of applicability exploration in the 'Earth and Space' domain of Pre-service elementary teachers, there have been few cases in which instructional design was planned based on instructional design principles. Based on these results, if the possibility of metaverse application is proposed in the 'Earth and Space' domain, educational contents using virtual space that can transcend time and space will be very necessary. Based on these results, suggestions are made as follows. First, educational content incorporating the metaverse technique based on instructional design should be developed and utilized. Second, financial support should be provided so that the metaverse can be implemented in the educational environment. Third, it is necessary to provide training opportunities for teachers (including Pre-service elementary teachers) to give lectures on metaverse.
