Recently in Korea, soybean harvesting has been delayed due to rainfall during the harvesting season, resulting in a reduction in yield and seed quality. This study was conducted to analyze the changes in yield and seed quality during delayed harvest with rainfall treatment using different harvesting methods, including field harvesting and polyethylene film covering after cutting fully-matured soybean plants (PE covering after cutting), with two major Korean soybean cultivars (Glycine max L), Pungsannamulkong and Daewonkong. The shattering rate of Pungsannamulkong, which is higher than that of Daewonkong, increased up to 41.8% when the harvest was delayed for 40 days without rainfall treatment by harvesting with PE covering after cutting. The weight of 100 seeds tended to decrease slightly as harvesting was delayed. When Daewonkong was harvested using the PE covering after cutting method with rainfall treatment, the yield decreased to the lowest level with a 0.8 kg ha-1 daily reduction rate. Pungsannamulkong showed the lowest yield when harvested using PE covering after cutting without rainfall treatment with a 3.4 kg ha-1 daily reduction rate. The infected seed rate increased according to the harvest delay in both cultivars, and significant differences were observed according to rainfall treatment and harvesting method. The germination rate was maintained above 95% even after 40 days of delayed harvest if there was no rainfall treatment. However, with rainfall treatment, the germination rate was significantly lowered as harvesting time was delayed. In the field harvesting with rainfall treatment, the germination rate decreased to 77.2% for Daewonkong and 76.5% for Pungsannamulkong after 40 days of harvest delay. For the 100-seed weight, effects of individual treatments and interactions between treatments were not observed. In contrast, the effect of interactions between treatments on the shattering rate was significant in both cultivars, indicating that the shattering rate had the greatest impact on the yield changes during delayed harvest.

This study analyzed the impact of women's self-preservation on their intention to start a business by using self-efficacy as a mediation, reflecting the importance of women's self-preservation to adapt to the new environment of start-up. In particular, in addition to the overall self-preservation, the sub-factors of behavioral delay, compensatory natural strategy, and constructive thinking strategy were also validated. As a research method, 198 people who responded to the online survey were analyzed using Model 4 of the PROCESS macro proposed by Hayes(2018), and indirect effects were analyzed by designating 5,000 bootstrapping samples. The findings were as follows. First, self-efficacy has been shown to have a mediating effect in which women's self-preservation influences their intention to start a business. At this time, the medium effect was shown as a partial medium. Second, the sense of self-efficacy was found to have a mediating effect on women's behavior-oriented strategies affecting their intention to start a business. At this time, the medium effect was shown as a partial medium. Third, self-efficacy was found to have a mediating effect in which women's natural compensatory strategies affect their intention to start a business. At this time, the medium effect was shown as a partial medium. Fourth, self-efficacy was found to have a mediating effect in which women's constructive thinking strategies affect their intention to start a business. At this time, the medium effect was shown as a complete medium. This shows that the higher a woman's self-preservation, the higher her self-efficacy and willingness to start a business. Based on the results of these studies, he made a developed proposal for women's start-ups.
This study was conducted to investigate the tuberization time and the control method for Eleocharis kuroguwai Ohwi. The control methods were compared the shoot cutting and bentazon treatment for E. kuroguwai with untreatment. The initial tuberization time of E. kuroguwai, when E. kuroguwai was planted and without rice planted, was about August 18th and 10th, respectively. When the shoot of E. kuroguwai was cut, the regrowth vigour scarcely revived for the cutting on September 12. The least tuberization of E. kuroguwai, when E. kuroguwai was just planted and planted with rice plant, were on August 28 and August 3 to the top cutting of E. kuroguwai, respectively. Bentazon treatments from July 19 to August 3 hardly induced tuberization of E. kuroguwai, while as the delay of bentazon treatment time the tuberization of E. kurguwai was little by little increased.
Unemployment is related to social issues as well as personal economics activity so various policies have been made to reduce the unemployment rate in many countries. Because of delay inherent in the survey mechanism to collect unemployment data, it takes lots of time to acquire survey unemployment data. To develop proper policies for reducing unemployment rate at the right time, it is quite critical to obtain faster and more accurate information concerning about unemployment level. To remedy this problem, recently an advanced analytics utilizing internet queries is suggested. To examine the potential of Web query information, this research investigates the usefulness of internet activity data to predict Korean unemployment rate. One of selected web-query data(unemployment claim) has a quite strong correlation with unemployment rate. This research employes a time series approach of the ARIMA model that utilizes the information of keyword queries provided by the Naver(Korean representative portal site) trend together with unemployment rate data provisioned from Statistics Korea. With respect to model selection guidelines of mean squared error and prediction error, the model with utilizing the web query information shows better results than the model without such information. This suggests that there is a strong potential for the used method, which needs to be further explored.
In this paper, a new audio reproduction system was developed in which the cross-talk signals would be reasonably cancelled at an arbitrary listener position. To adaptively remove the cross-talk signals according to the listener's position, a method of tracking the listener position was employed. This was achieved using the two microphones, where the listener direction was estimated using the time-delay between the two signals from the two microphones, respectively. Moreover, room reverberation effects were taken into consideration where linear prediction analysis was involved. To remove the cross-talk signals at the left-and right-ears, the paths between the sources and the ears were represented using the KEMAR head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) which were measured from the artificial dummy head. To evaluate the usefulness of the proposed listener tracking system, the performance of cross-talk cancellation was evaluated at the estimated listener positions. The performance was evaluated in terms of the channel separation ration (CSR), a -10 dB of CSR was experimentally achieved although the listener positions were more or less deviated. A real-time system was implemented using a floating-point digital signal processor (DSP). It was confirmed that the average errors of the listener direction was 5 degree and the subjects indicated that 80 % of the stimuli was perceived as the correct directions.
In this paper, a new interpolation model for the head related transfer function (HRTF) was proposed. In the method herein, we assume that the impulse response of the HRTF for each azimuth angle is given by linear interpolation of the time-delayed neighboring impulse responses of HRTFs. The time delay of the HRTF for each azimuth angle is given by sum of the sound wave propagation time from the ears to the sound source, which can be estimated by using azimuth angle, the physical shape of the underlying head and the distance between the head and sound source, and the refinement time yielding the minimum mean square error. Moreover, in the proposed model, the interpolation intervals were not fixed but varied, which were determined by minimizing the total number of HRTFs while the synthesized signals have no perceptual difference from the original signals in terms of sound location. To validate the usefulness of the proposed interpolation model, the proposed model was applied to the several HRTFs that were obtained from one dummy-head and three human heads. We used the HRTFs that have 5 degree azimuth angle resolution at 0 degree elevation (horizontal plane). The experimental results showed that using only $30\sim40%$ of the original HRTFs were sufficient for producing the signals that have no audible differences from the original ones in terms of sound location.
Delay and discontinuance phenomenon of service are cause by sudden increase of the network communication amount and the quantity consumed of resources when Internet users are driven excessively to a conventional single large database sewer. To solve these problems, spatial database cluster consisted of several single nodes on high-speed network to offer high-performance is risen. But, research about spatial join operation that can reduce the performance of whole system in case process at single node is not achieved. So, in this paper, we propose efficient parallel spatial join processing method in a spatial database cluster system that uses data partitions and replications method that considers the characteristics of space data. Since proposed method does not need the creation step and the assignment step of tasks, and does not occur additional message transmission between cluster nodes that appear in existent parallel spatial join method, it shows performance improvement of 23% than the conventional parallel R-tree spatial join for a shared-nothing architecture about expensive spatial join queries. Also, It can minimize the response time to user because it removes redundant refinement operation at each cluster node.
The carelessly and illegally copied contents are raising serious social problem as internet and multimedia technologies are advancing. Therefore, development of video copy detection system must be settled without delay. In this paper, we propose the hierarchical video copy detection method that estimates similarity using statistical characteristics between original video and manipulated(transformed) copy video. We rank according to luminance value of video to be robust to spacial transformation, and choose similar videos categorized as candidate segments in huge amount of database to reduce processing time and complexity. The copy videos generally insert black area in the edge of the image, so we remove rig black area and decide copy or not by using statistical characteristics of original video and copied video with center part of frame that contains important information of video. Experiment results show that the proposed method has similar keyframe accuracy to reference method, but we use less memory to save feature information than reference's, because the number of keyframes is less 61% than that of reference's. Also, the proposed method detects if the video is copied or not efficiently despite expansive spatial transformations such as blurring, contrast change, zoom in, zoom out, aspect ratio change, and caption insertion.
In this paper, a frame transmission method to make IEEE 802.15.4 nodes run at a new channel and its characteristics are studied when they experience difficulties in transmission of frames due to WiFi traffic. The researches on evaluating the interference from WiFi traffic, searching for a new channel with little interference or not, and changing the operating channel are analyzed. In an wireless channel overlapped with IEEE 802.11 network, the transmission delay of IEEE 802.15.4 frames, the collision of frames in sending IEEE 802.15.4 frames without applying CSMA-CA algorithm, and the operation of IEEE 802.11 nodes are explained. A transmission method of frames including frame-formated code blocks in order to use the rest part of collided IEEE 802.15.4 frame is proposed. In the experiments of the proposed method, it is observed that frame-formated code blocks are synchronized and received by receivers in case of collision, and then the collided positions in IEEE 802.15.4 frame and the characteristics of frame reception rate are analyzed. The experimental results show that the performance of the proposed method is improved in comparison to an existing method when we measure the time taken to send a channel change command and get the response in order to avoid the interference from WiFi traffic.
Purpose In a cyclosporine experiment using a robotic liquid handing system has found a deviation of its standard curve and low reproducibility of patients's results. The difference of the test is that methanol is mixed with samples and the extractions are used for the test. Therefore, we assumed that the abnormal test results came from using methanol and conducted this test. In a manual of a robotic liquid handling system mentions that we can choose several setting parameters depending on the viscosity of the liquids being used, the size of the sampling tips and the motor speeds that you elect to use but there's no exact order. This study was undertaken to confirm pipetting ability depending on types of liquids and investigate proper setting parameters for the optimum dispensing ability. Materials and Methods 4types of liquids(water, serum, methanol, PEG 6000(25%)) and $TSH^{125}I$ tracer(515 kBq) are used to confirm pipetting ability. 29 specimens for Cyclosporine test are used to compare results. Prepare 8 plastic tubes for each of the liquids and with multi pipette $400{\mu}l$ of each liquid is dispensed to 8 tubes and $100{\mu}l$ of $TSH^{125}I$ tracer are dispensed to all of the tubes. From the prepared samples, $100{\mu}l$ of liquids are dispensed using a robotic liquid handing system, counted and calculated its CV(%) depending on types of liquids. And then by adjusting several setting parameters(air gap, dispense time, delay time) the change of the CV(%)are calcutated and finds optimum setting parameters. 29 specimens are tested with 3 methods. The first(A) is manual method and the second(B) is used robotic liquid handling system with existing parameters. The third(C) is used robotic liquid handling system with adjusted parameters. Pipetting ability depending on types of liquids is assessed with CV(%). On the basis of (A), patients's test results are compared (A)and(B), (A)and(C) and they are assessed with %RE(%Relative error) and %Diff(%Difference). Results The CV(%) of the CPM depending on liquid types were water 0.88, serum 0.95, methanol 10.22 and PEG 0.68. As expected dispensing of methanol using a liquid handling system was the problem and others were good. The methanol's dispensing were conducted by adjusting several setting parameters. When transport air gap 0 was adjusted to 2 and 5, CV(%) were 20.16, 12.54 and when system air gap 0 was adjusted to 2 and 5, CV(%) were 8.94, 1.36. When adjusted to system air gap 2, transport air gap 2 was 12.96 and adjusted to system air gap 5, Transport air gap 5 was 1.33. When dispense speed was adjusted 300 to 100, CV(%) was 13.32 and when dispense delay was adjusted 200 to 100 was 13.55. When compared (B) to (A), the result increased 99.44% and %RE was 93.59%. When compared (C-system air gap was adjusted 0 to 5) to (A), the result increased 6.75% and %RE was 5.10%. Conclusion Adjusting speed and delay time of aspiration and dispense was meaningless but changing system air gap was effective. By adjusting several parameters proper value was found and it affected the practical result of the experiment. To optimize the system active efforts are needed through the test and in case of dispensing new types of liquids proper test is required to check the liquid is suitable for using the equipment.
