컴퓨터 실습수업에서 하브루타 교수법 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the using of Havruta Teaching Method in Computer Practice Class)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of learning flow, learning interest, and academic achievement by dividing the time when class was taught by Havruta. The Havruta teaching method is a traditional Jewish method of learning, with a one-on-one discussion with a partner that has a positive impact on each other. Havruta teaches learners through various perspectives and perspectives, helping them to improve their learning ability by attracting new ideas and solutions. In the computer lab, there is a big difference between the students according to the learner's abilities. Therefore, it is thought that the Havruta teaching method will help the learners who have lost interest in learning and improve the learning ability in the conventional way which does not consider personal abilities. do. In this paper, based on the friendship teaching model of the Havruta teaching style, the experimental group was taught through the Havruta practice and the play. Through the pre- and post-test, the students who taught the class with the help of the verbal method improved the learning flow, the learning interest and the academic achievement.

Rebar Spacing Fixing Technology using Laser Scanning and HoloLens

  • Currently rebar spacing inspection is carried out by human inspectors who heavily rely on their individual experience, lacking a guarantee of objectivity and accuracy in the inspection process. In addition, if incorrectly placed rebars are identified, the inspector need to correct them. Recently, laser scanning and AR technologies have been widely used because of their merits of measurement accuracy and visualization. This study proposes a technology for rebar spacing inspection and fixing by combining laser scanning and AR technology. First, scan data acquisition of rebar layers is performed and the raw scan data is processed. Second, AR-based visualization and fixing are performed by comparing the design model with the model generated from the scan data. To verify the developed technique, performance comparison test is conducted by comparing with existing drawing-based method in terms of inspection time, error detection rate, cognitive load, and situational awareness ability. It is found from the result of the experiment that the AR-based rebar inspection and fixing technology is faster than the drawing-based method, but there was no significant difference between the two groups in error identification rate, cognitive load, and situational awareness ability. Based on the experimental results, the proposed AR-based rebar spacing inspection and fixing technology is expected to be highly useful throughout the construction industry.

  • The airport processes are restricted by some limits of performance objects as size of airport, ability of human resources, capacity of facilities and operational rules. These limitations make passenger handling difficult when passenger numbers increase. In order to solve this problem, we modeled the airport process and analyzed departure passenger arrival, scheduled security manpower under specific customer service level maintenance with mixed integer programming and validate the efficiency with simulation with adapting smart airport framework. We concluded that the airport management with information techniques can reduce waiting time within security and immigration process.

  • New technologies have turned theories of education engineering into practice and also made education more efficient. One of them is the theory of 'Computer Adaptive Testing(CAT)'. This study is aimed to design and develop a web-based teaming system by making up for the weak points in the existing computer adaptive testing(CAT). The characteristics of the system are as follows: Firstly, tests can be controlled to fit the teachers' purposes by putting in different levels of both questions and samples. Secondly, this system does not test the same number of questions as students with different levels of ability do on a paper test, but a test can be taken according to their level. Thus this system is able to correctly judge learners' ability in a short time.

건설사업장 산업재해 피해 저감을 위한 비상사태 대응방안 (Emergency Response Strategy for Mitigating Industrial Disasters on Construction Site)

  • Construction sites have various risks, and safety managements are enforced based on the law such as Industrial Safety and Health Act, etc. Safety management by the law saves lives and preserves health of workers by removing and understanding risks in advance. When the emergency situation has come, poor response causes loss of lives and physical damages. This study suggests basic strategy that can mitigate the industrial disaster in all construction sites. A survey was conducted to identify the current safety consciousness and to evaluate first aid ability of coworkers. Finally, four measures were suggested: (1) designating muster points; (2) hiring occupational health managers; (3) increasing the first aid ability of coworkers; and (4) carrying safety brochure. The proposed suggestions can be helpful in mitigating the construction disaster, and in responding the major accident efficiently within a short time.

  • A power line communications, power, the outgoing line is a means of communication.   • The purpose of this study is to design and implement web-based quality cost management system to measure the performance of quality improvement activities in the business firms. The designed web-based quality cost management system which is also known as WQCMS (Web-based Q-Cost Management System) utilized newly classified objective performance indicator items to measure quality related activities. Well-classified performance measurement Indicator item lists which are played key role in the system was researched and standardized according to size and business categories of enterprise. Its code standards are based from fundamental PAF Model. Developed WQCMS have ability to collect and analyze quality data generated from various different departments in the inside or outside of the enterprise without any limitations, if end-users are able to access wide area network. It provides the capability to integrate quality information from database and to generate various easy analysis reports to management's needs using built-in analysis tool modules with real-time. The proposed system was developed using Microsofi's .Net technology, ASP.NET and MS-SQL Server 2000. By web-enabling Q-cost management system, the effectiveness of the system management and utilization was realized by easiness of information Integration and economical efficiency.

구조물의 품질 결함 변별력 증대를 위한 수직 에너지 기반의 웨이블릿 Feature 생성 (Structural Quality Defect Discrimination Enhancement using Vertical Energy-based Wavelet Feature Generation)

  • In this paper a novel feature extraction and selection is carried out in order to improve the discriminating capability between healthy and damaged structure using vibration signals. Although many feature extraction and selection algorithms have been proposed for vibration signals, most proposed approaches don't consider the discriminating ability of features since they are usually in unsupervised manner. We proposed a novel feature extraction and selection algorithm selecting few wavelet coefficients with higher class discriminating capability for damage detection and class visualization. We applied three class separability measures to evaluate the features, i.e. T test statistics, divergence, and Bhattacharyya distance. Experiments with vibration signals from truss structure demonstrate that class separabilities are significantly enhanced using our proposed algorithm compared to other two algorithms with original time-based features and Fourier-based ones.

  • In this study, we propose an efficient expert system (ES) construction mechanism by using dynamic knowledge map (DKM) and database management systems (DBMS). Generally, traditional ES and ES developing tools has some limitations such as, 1) a lot of time to extend the knowledge base (KB), 2) too difficult to change the inference path, 3) inflexible use of inference functions and operators. First, to overcome these limitations, we use DKM in extracting the complex relationships and causal rules from human expert and other knowledge resources. Then, elation database (RDB) and its management systems will help to transform the relationships from diagram to relational table. Therefore, our mechanism can help the ES or KBS (Knowledge-Based Systems) developers in several ways efficiently. In the experiment section, we used medical data to show the efficiency of our mechanism. Experimental results with various disease show that the mechanism is superior in terms of extension ability and flexible inference.
