ESICD(Electrical Signal Interface Control Document) refers to a document that describes protocols and data for communication between components consist of a system. Each component developer gathers at a specific place to conduct an integrated test for ESICD verification. In this case, it often happens that the integration test is delayed due to a simple mistake of software developers. There are two reasons for this situation: First, software developers do not perform sufficient verification because it is difficult to configure the system environment in a Lab, and second, they do not immediately find the cause of errors occurred during integration tests. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a strategy to effectively perform ESICD verification, which takes a lot of time between the production and implementation stage of the weapon system development stage and the system integration test stage.
The purpose of the study was to apply and to expand the six sigma to reduce waiting times for computed tomography (CT) examination which manipulated by the department of radiology. It was preceded by DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control). In the stage of definition, it wereselected for total 5 critical to quality (CTQ), which were the kindness, the waiting time, the examination explanation, the waiting day and the waiting stand environment, that increased the reserved time of CT examination. In the stage of measurement, the number of examinations and of reservation waiting days performed and resulted in final CTQ(Y) which measured each 1.68 and 1.85 sigma. In the stage of analysis, the examination concentrated on morning time, non-scheduled examination of the day, the delayed time of booking, frequent telephone contacting and equipment malfunction were determined as variable key causes. In the stage of improvement, it were performed with expansion of the examination in the morning time, integration of laboratories that used to in each steps, developing the ability of simultaneous booking schedule for the multiple examinations, developing program of examination request, and the customer management team operations. For the control, the number of examinations and reserved waiting days were measured each 3.14 and 1.13 sigma.
The performance of the payload Electro-Optical System (EOS) in satellite system is affected by various factors, such as optics design, camera electronics design, and the characteristics of the CCD (Charge Coupled Device) used, etc. Of these factors, the camera electronics design is somewhat unique in that its operational parameters can be adjusted even after the satellite launch. In this paper, the effect of video gain on the non-uniformity correction performance is addressed. And a new optimal non-uniformity correction scheme is proposed and analyzed using the data from real camera electronics unit based on a TDI (Time Delayed Integration) type of CCD. The test results show that the performance of the conventional non-uniformity correction scheme is affected significantly when the video gain is added. On the other hand, in our proposed scheme, the performance is not dependent on the video gain. The insensitivity of the non-uniformity performance on the video-gain is mainly due to the fact that the correction is performed after the dark signal is subtracted from system response.

A new ground penetrating radar imaging method for the estimation of buried artificial structures location and their approximate shapes in dispersive lossy ground is investigated. Fundamental idea is based on estimating delayed time and amplitude retrieval coefficients from scattered signals by buried scatterers. Using absolute value integration of each scanning site not only improve the accuracy of measured scattered signal, but also offers convenient ways to extract the image of buried structures. Multi-term Debye model was employed to describe a dispersive and lossy ground medium. We used the finite difference time domain method to discretize the wave equation in continuous form into the machine suitable form. This imaging method uses a new wave path tracing technique in time domain, which is helpful to identify the exact position of buried structures against the ground surface fluctuations.

Background and Objectives: The integration of auditory-visual speech information improves speech perception; however, if the auditory system input is disrupted due to hearing loss, auditory and visual inputs cannot be fully integrated. Additionally, temporal coincidence of auditory and visual input is a significantly important factor in integrating the input of these two senses. Time delayed acoustic pathway caused by the signal passing through digital signal processing. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the effects of hearing loss and hearing aid digital delay circuit on sound-induced flash illusion. Subjects and Methods: A total of 13 adults with normal hearing, 13 with mild to moderate hearing loss, and 13 with moderate to severe hearing loss were enrolled in this study. Subsequently, the sound-induced flash illusion test was conducted, and the results were analyzed. Results: The results showed that hearing aid digital delay and hearing loss had no detrimental effect on sound-induced flash illusion. Conclusions: Transmission velocity and neural transduction rate of the auditory inputs decreased in patients with hearing loss. Hence, the integrating auditory and visual sensory cannot be combined completely. Although the transmission rate of the auditory sense input was approximately normal when the hearing aid was prescribed. Thus, it can be concluded that the processing delay in the hearing aid circuit is insufficient to disrupt the integration of auditory and visual information.

The purpose of this article is to capture this situation within the changes that take place due to it, inside the Greek society where there is a great need for professional social workers who are able to work targeted and effectively with foreigners, both children and adults, who have or develop mental health problems for the very first time. Over the recent decades the increasing number of migration flows has exerted and continues to exert great pressure on the health system and on the welfare structures of Greece. The bases for the development of a rudimentary reception and integration system that still is in progress have been delayed, while there has been no happy medium, between the enormous pressure that foreigner users of this system put on, and the humanitarian obligation of a well-governed state towards all residents of the country. Straight through everyday clinical practice in the field of intercultural work, social work has the knowledge and techniques for a total management of emerging problems and at the same time provides a value system with an ethical background which approaches refugees and migrants in order to provide quality services, mostly to users of mental health services.
The purpose of this study lies in examining how knowledge management was applied to PMI(Post Merger Integration) in bank merger. Individuals and organizations in Korea have experienced a lot of changes since the 1997 foreign exchange crisis. In such a situation, individuals came to think the only thing to rely on was personal knowledge. Since organizations had to lay off workers in order of their birth year, not based on whether or not individuals had the knowledge necessary for the organizations, they needed to have such a system that could use their explicit knowledge and even outside knowledge or customers' knowledge as IT developed by changing individuals' tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge as needed in order to continue to maintain their competitiveness and for their own development. Thus, each firm started to pitch for the introduction of knowledge management. Individuals started to store their own experience and knowledge in their homepages or blogs. It was Woori Bank, the merged bank of Hanil Bank and Commercial Bank of Korea, that introduced the knowledge management system and Shared Service Center, in which knowledge creation is available, for the first time in the banking business. Its previous name was Hanbit Bank. Hanbit Bank wanted to construct an advanced bank system, bringing in their chief information officer(CIO) from a foreign bank and introducing an IT software used in Spanish banks to adjust all banking processes to it. However, they could not help giving up the plan in the middle of the road since there was a great difference between Spain and Korea in the financial system and more than 30% of software package had to be changed. In this situation, PMI was delayed, and customer inconvenience continued, which made the integration of organizational cultures slow down. As a breakthrough in this situation, knowledge management was introduced. To integrate knowledge of two organizations in the process of PMI is an important job for all merger candidates. This study aims at presenting the successful results from using knowledge management as a means to PMI ahead of other financial institutions so they can apply them to their organizations. PMI was not achieved properly after the two banks had been merged as Hanbit, but entering the era of Woori Bank, workers were integrated under one standard organization following the organizational and knowledge integration, and knowledge management was introduced for an efficient sharing of knowledge among members. A great number of mergers have occurred up to now, but Woori Bank is the first case that used knowledge management as a means to both PMI and competitiveness enhancement. Probably it was an appropriate time when Woori Bank introduced knowledge management as it was organized. Since Hanil Bank and Commercial Bank of Korea had not introduced knowledge management until then, it could use knowledge management as a means to PMI. Using knowledge management, it could create a new organizational culture and increase competitiveness in the banking industry.
Background : Severance Hospital is an university hospital which has 1,580 beds. A LAN system was installed in the Medical Record Department in 1992 and discharge abstract data have been added to the discharge abstract database(DB) The previous work flow in the Medical Record Department had 5 levels: 1) chart collection from wards, 2) assembling, 3) abstracting data from medical record on worksheet by 2 RRAs, 4) checking deficiencies and coding diagnosis and procedures by 4 RRAs, 5) inputting the data into the discharge abstract data base by 1 RRA. The average processing time took 19.3 days from the patient discharge date. It had the production of monthly statistical report delayed. Besides, it caused the users in the hospital to complain. Methods : A CQI team was organized to find a way to shorten the processing time less than 10 days. The team identified the factors making the processing time long and integrated three levels from the 3rd level into one. Each of 7 RRAs performed the integrated level on her workstation instead of taking one of three separate levels. The comparison of processing time before and after the changes was made with 3'846 discharges of April, 1999 and 4,189 discharges of August, 1999. Results : The average processing time was shortened from 19.3 days to 8.7 days. Especially the integrated level took only 3.6 days, compared with 12.3 days before the change. The percentage of finishing up the whole processing within 10 days from discharge was increased up to 77.6%, which was 2.4% before the integration. The prevalence of error in data input was not increased in the new method. Conclusions : The integrated processing method has the following advantages: 1) the expedition of production of monthly statistical report, 2) the increase of utilizing rate of dischare abstract data by Billing Dept, Emergency Room, QI Dept., etc., 3) the improvement of intradepartmental work follow, 4) the enhancement of medical record quality by checking the deficiencies earlier than before.

With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, propelled by digital technology, we are transitioning into an era of hyperconnectivity, where everything and objects are becoming interconnected. A smart supply chain refers to a supply chain system where various sensors and RFID tags are attached to objects such as machinery and products used in the manufacturing and transportation of goods. These sensors and tags collect and analyze process data related to the products, providing meaningful information for operational use and decision-making in the supply chain. Before the spread of COVID-19, the fundamental principles of supply chain management were centered around 'cost minimization' and 'high efficiency.' A smart supply chain overcomes the linear delayed action-reaction processes of traditional supply chains by adopting real-time data for better decision-making based on information, providing greater transparency, and enabling enhanced collaboration across the entire supply chain. Therefore, in this study, a hierarchical model for building a smart supply chain was constructed to systematically derive the importance of key factors that should be strategically considered in the construction of a smart supply chain, based on the major factors identified in previous research. We applied AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) techniques to identify urgent improvement areas in smart SCM initiatives. The analysis results showed that the external supply chain integration is the most urgent area to be improved in smart SCM initiatives.
The Electro-optical camera subsystem as a payload of a satellite system consists of OM (optical module) and CEU(camera electronics unit), and most performances of the camera subsystem depend a lot on the CEU in which TDI CCDs(Time Delayed Integration Charge Coupled Device) take the main role of imaging by converting the light intensity into measurable voltage signal. Therefore it is required to specify and design the CEU very carefully at the early stage of development with overall specifications, design considerations, calibration definition, test methods for key performance parameters. This paper describes the overview of CEU development. It lists key requirement characteristics of CEU hardware and design considerations. It also describes what kinds of calibration are required for the CEU and defines the test and evaluation conditions in verifying requirement specifications of the CEU, which are used during acceptance test, considering the fact that CEU performance results change a lot depending on test and evaluation conditions such as operational line rate, TDI level, and light intensity level, so on.
