달리기 속도와 경사가 하지관절의 생체역학에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Running Speed and Slope on the Lower Extremity Biomechanics)

  • 본 연구는 달리기 시 속도와 경사변화가 하지관절의 생체역학적 요인에 미치는 영향을 보고자 한다. 이를 위해 20대 성인남성 15명이 트레드밀에서 2.7, 3.3 m/s와 -9°, -6°, 0°, 6°, 9°로 달리기를 실시하였고, 속도와 경사 변화에 따른 주행특성(보장, 보빈도), 생체역학적 변인(발목, 무릎, 엉덩관절의 가동범위, 모멘트, 관절파워), 지면반력(수직지면반력, 부하율, 제동력, 추진력)을 측정하였다. 연구결과, 주행특성은 오르막 달리기(UR)가 내리막 달리기(DR)에 비해 크게 나타났다(p<.05). 하지관절의 가동범위와 수직지면반력은 UR에서 크게 나타났고(p<.05), 하지관절의 모멘트와 제동력, 추진력, 부하율은 DR에서 크게 나타났다(p<.05). 관절파워는 발목관절은 DR에서 크고, 엉덩관절에서는 UR이 크게 나타났다(p<.05). 이러한 결과로부터 3.3m/s의 속도로 DR을 달리는 경우에서 발목관절 부상의 영향이 클 것으로 예상된다.

  • Recently, a tiny piezoelectric linear motor using a vibration made of the transducer has been invented. The motor consists of a shaft, mobile element, and piezoelectric transducer using a piezoelectric radial mode bimorph disk. The fringe of the bimorph disk is fixed firmly which means this area has no degree of freedom. Therefore, the radial mode of the tranducer transfers to the flexurd mode. The mobile elements move along the shaft by the impact force generated by the flexurd mode of the piezoelectric transducer. The piezoelectric ceramic disks have thickness of 0.1 mm and diameter of 3.5 mm. The elastic disk is introduced between two disks of the ceramic, which has thickness of 0.1 mm and diameter of 3.8 mm. The fringe of the elastic disk is fixed by a brass cylinder which height is 1.2 mm. The Pyrex shaft is used which has diameter of 1 mm and height of 10 mm. The motors are operated at their resonant frequencies. The dynamic properties of the motor have been intensively measured and analyzed according to the applied voltage wave forms at the resonant frequencies. As the sawtooth and rectangular voltage waves are applied, the velocity, the thrust force, and the velocity dependence of the mobile position are measured. The dynamic characteristics are also analyzed within a period of each wave using laser vibrometer. The velocity of the mobile is moderately constant along the shaft. The better dynamic characteristics are obtained in the case of applying the rectangular wave.

제자리 비행하는 이중 덕트 팬 비행체의 지면 효과에 대한 수치적 연구 (Numerical Investigation of Ground Effect of Dual Ducted Fan Aircraft During Hovering Flight)

  • Actuator disk method 기반의 유동 해석자를 이용하여 수직 이착륙 복합형 비행체 중 하나인 이중 덕트 팬 항공기에 대한 공력해석을 수행하고 관련 지면 효과를 분석하였다. 회전 격자 기법을 이용한 해석결과와의 비교를 통해, 지면 효과 분석을 위한 해석자의 특성과 정확도를 함께 평가하였다. 지면과의 거리에 따른 공력 성능과 유동장 특성을 분석하였다. 지면과의 거리가 가까울수록 팬 추력은 증가하지만, 덕트, 동체, 날개의 수직력 감소로 인한 총 수직력 및 제자리 비행 효율의 저하를 확인하였다. 동체 하부의 유동장 분석으로부터 팬 후류와 지면 간의 상호작용에 의해 발생하는 지면 와류와 분수 유동을 확인하고, 이들이 비행체 공력 성능에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 속도 프로파일 비교/검토를 통해 비행체로부터의 거리와 방향에 따른 기체 주변 아웃워시의 강도와 특성을 분석하였다. 또한 콜렉티브 피치각에 따른 지면 효과의 영향을 확인하였다.

도시형 자기부상열차 추진특성에 관한 성능연구 (Research of Performance for the Propulsion System of Maglev Vehicle)

  • This paper introduces the performance test of the prototype vehicle, which will be in operation for Urban Maglev Program. While common trains with steel wheels use rotary induction motors for propulsion, maglev trains gain thrust force from linear induction motors maintaining the constant airgap with levitation electromagnets. Therefore, not only the behavior of the linear induction motor should be well understood, but also the way of propulsion that minimizes its effect on the levitation system should be took into account. Performance test procedures of maglev trains are proposed and carried out, and the characteristics of acceleration and deceleration are verified to agree with the design criteria. Tests are mainly performed on the linear section of the test line, and the driving characteristics on the section with a 6‰ incline are examined additionally. As a result, the performance of the prototype vehicle in the reverse operation can satisfy the requirement about the acceleration and deceleration, 4.0$m/s^2$. And, the design modifications of the commercial vehicle and the performance specifications required on the demonstration line are investigated.

  • During sailing by wind-driven thrust on the sail, a catamaran sailing yacht generates leeway and heeling. For estimating resistance and moment prediction of a real ship by changing of running attitude, a model test of the ship has to be carried out. This study aims at establishing experimental techniques for a catamaran sailing yacht by changed attitude during running direction. Through the model test, drag and side force of the real ship are predicted. Also through experiment, rolling and yawing moments were considered.

  • 우주환경시험팀에서는 발사환경 시 진동 시험을 위해 진동 테스트 장비를 운영 중에 있으며 이를 이용하여 여러 위성 프로그램의 환경시험을 성공적으로 수행하였다. 발사체 및 대형위성의 진동시험을 위한 대형 전자기 시스템의 요구를 충족시키기 위해, 직경 3m급 헤드익스펜더를 가진 대형 멀티 전자기 가진 시스템을 개발하고 있다. 개발 시스템은 160 kN의 추력을 가진 3대의 가진 시스템으로 구성되어 있으며 최대 8톤급 시험체의 진동시험과 300 kNm의 횡 하중 지지할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 본 연구에서는 대형 멀티 전자기 가진 시스템 개발 과정에서 요구되는 각 요소의 설계에 대한 연구 결과를 소개하고자 한다.

  • In recent years, technology of press plastic working having made remarkable progress. We can say this because it facilitates mass production and have superior performances in machining speed and equivalency of quality than other processing methods. In characteristics of press plastic working, mold manufacturing according to characteristics of each product should be preceded before processing and it has a great influence on machining speed and quality of products and etc according to manufacturing method. Therefore, mold design technology is a critical technology in press plastic working. There are lots of variables in press plastic working according to worked material, mold materials, conditions of heat treatment, clearance and so on. Abrasion of mold depends on these kind of conditions and sheared surface which is crucial for quality of product also depends on them. In this study, we conduct research on abrasion loss of mold according to 8, 10 and 12% of clearance for thickness of 1.0mm of worked material out of mold design variables of the products whose worked materials are high carbon steel and carbon tool steel by a practical experiment.

But when making mold it is difficult and expensive to modify mold. mold design technology is a critical technology in press plastic working. When design the mold there are lots of variables in press plastic working according to worked material, mold materials, conditions of heat treatment, clearance and so on. Abrasion of mold depends on these kind of conditions and sheared surface which is crucial for quality of product also depends on them. In this study, we conduct research on abrasion loss of mold according to 8, 10 and 12% of clearance for thickness of 1.0mm of worked material out of mold design variables of the products whose worked materials are high carbon steel and carbon tool steel by a practical experiment and perform a comparative evaluation of difference of abrasion loss mold with the alloy tool steel (STD11) and Tungsten Carbide (WC).

헬리콥터 무베이링 메인 로터 허브 시스템의 구조 건전성에 관한 연구 (Study on Structural Integrity of Bearingless Main Rotor Hub System of Helicopter)

  • Rotor system is a very important part which produce lift, thrust and control force in helicopter. Component of rotor system must have structural integrity for applied load. The estimation of structural integrity is regarded greatly as important in aerospace field. In this study, the process of structural analysis performed for bearingless main rotor system of helicopter. The composite flexbeam and torque tube of bearingless main rotor are very thick, so 3D layered soild elements of MSC.PATRAN were used to get the finite element analysis results. To estimate structural integrity, non-linear static analysis considering geometric non-linearity is performed. In addition, detailed finete element analysis and non-linear static analysis are performed to consider the stress concentration for fitting effect and contact surface. The estimation process of structural integrity for bearingless main rotor system of helicopter may help the design.

  • CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic) and CFRP-metal stacks have recently been widely used in the aerospace and automobile industries. When CFRP is machined by a brittle fracture mechanism, defect generation behaviors are different from those associated with metal cutting. The machining quality is strongly dependent on the properties of CFRP materials. Therefore, process control for CFRP machining is necessary to minimize the defects of differently manufactured CFRPs. In this study, defects in drilling of CFRP substrates with a variety of fiber directions and resin types are compared with respect to thrust force. An experimental study on material interface detection is carried out to investigate its benefits in process control.
