2단계 개방 연소기 산화제 개폐밸브 개발 (Development of a Two-Step Main Oxidizer Shut-off Valve)

  • 액체로켓엔진용 연소기 산화제 개폐밸브는 단순 온 오프 개폐작동을 통해 연소기로의 산화제 공급 유무만을 제어하기 때문에, 산화제 공급 유량 조절을 통한 엔진 점화 시동 특성제어 및 최적화에 한계가 있는 반면에 2단계 개방 연소기 산화제 개폐밸브는 밸브의 부분 개방에 의해 산화제 공급 유량을 조절함으로써 엔진 점화 시동 특성을 제어할 수 있는 이점이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 액체로켓엔진용 2단계 개방 연소기 산화제 개폐밸브 개발을 위한 기본 설계 내용과 함께 밸브 작동성에 관한 검증시험 결과를 소개하기로 한다.

기계판막치환후의 판막음에 대한 연구 (Physical Analysis of the Prosthetic Valve Sound)

  • The frequency spectrum of the metallic closing sound and its loudness were measured by non invasive techniques in 66 patients. They had examined a total of 7 Carbomedics valve, 10 Duromedics valve, 11 St. Jude heart valve in mitral position and 8 Carbomedics, 10 Duromedics, 20 St. Jude heart valve prostheses functioning normally in aortic position. Statistical comparison of the loudness from sound produced by the three valves in each position, the following; The Carbomedics valve has the lowest average loudness, followed by the St. Jude medical valve, and finally the Edward Duromedics valve. And we analysis the changing factor of the loudness of valve sound, only the velocity of the flow through the valve influenced to the valve sound.

3위치 솔레노이드 벨브를 이용한 유압 조타 장치의 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Control of Hydraulic Steering Gear by Using Three-Position Solenoid Valve)

  • Generally, the three position solenoid valve has veen used for the hydraulic steering gear on account of it’s low cost, simplicity in device, etc. But, there is some off-set because of dead-zone which exists in on-off valves. In this paper, we proposed a combined controller which was added an integral controller to an only on-off one in hydraulic steering gear control system used low speed three position solenoid valve. Experimental results show that the off-set is removed, and the number of valve switching is reduced considerable. The validity of proposed method comparing with an only on-off control was proved by the response experiments.

  • This research has an object to find out how the position of inlet valve influence swirling and tumbling of turbulence inside the combustion chamber of 4 valve engine. The computational analysis of three dimensional complicated turbulence flow in the cylinder is done by the KIVA-3V program to carry out this object. One use 6 valve positions with the bowl type of piston cavity. The swirl ration and the tumbling ratio of flow filed are evaluated quantitatively to find out how each valve position influence flow phenomena in the combustion chamber during the intake and compression processes.

Position Control of a 3 dof Closed -loop Cylinder System Using ER Valve Actuators

  • This paper presents the position tracking control of a closed-loop cylinder system using electro-rheological (ER) valve actuators. After manufacturing three sets of cylindrical ER valves on the basis of Bingham model of ER fluid, a 3 dof(degree-freedom) closed-loop cylinder system having the heave, roll and pitch motions is constructed. The governing equations of motion are derived using Lagrange's equation and a control model is formulated by considering nonlinear characteristics of the system, Sliding mode controllers are the designed for these ER valve actuators in order to achieve position tracking control. The effectiveness of trajectory tracking control performance of the proposed cylinder system is demonstrated through computer simulation and experimental implementation of the sliding mode controller.

조직판막의 실패와 석회화에 관한 연구 (The relation of the bioprosthetic valve failure to its calcification)

  • In 1968, Carpentier and his associates introduced glutaraldehyde as a compound for preparing cardiac tissue valve, and this technique has provided a considerably more suitable and durable tissue valve substitute. To increase further durability of valve tissue, Reis and his colleagues designed a flexible stent to reduce the stress on the heterogeneous tissue valve mounted. However with the advent of more innovative mechanical valve currently, many bioprosthetic valves are being substituted by mechanical valves at our department of cardiothoracic surgery because of bioprosthetic valve failure. Main cause of bioprosthetic valves failure were calcification or/and tear of tissue valves. The purpose of this retrospective study is to clarify the relationship between the patients clinical profile during implantation of tissue valves and pathologic features of the failed bioprosthetic valve. From March, 1982 through June, 1988, 53 bioprosthetic heart valves that had been ex-planted from 45 patients at the department of cardiac surgery of Yonsei University Hospital were subjected to this study. The patients were 10 to 65 year-old [mean age: 30.3 yr] with 17 males and 28 females. Re-replacements of prosthetic valves were carried out twenty nine in mitral position, eight in aortic position and eight in both aortic and mitral position simultaneously. The grading and location for calcification of valves were verified by radiograms. The calcification of the explanted valves leaflets was graded from 0 to 4 plus according to Cipriano and associates method. The types of tear and perforation of leaflet were classified into four types as Ishihara has adopted initially in 1981. In younger age group under thirty three years, explanted tissue valves were significantly more affected in terms of grades of severity of valve calcification as compared with older age group [p < 0.035]. Valve calcification appeared more severe in male as compared to female [p< 0.002]. Ionescu-Shiley bovine pericardial bioprosthetic valves showed more severe calcification than Hancock porcine tissue valves [p< 0.035]. Calcium deposit was found very prevalent at the area of commissural attachment [86 % of all]. Type I of valve rupture was shown to be related with simultaneous calcification. However, the relation of explanted valve position, duration of implanted prosthetic valve, atrial fibrillation and anticoagulant therapy to the severity of bioprosthetic valve calcification were not significantly clear statistically [p > 0.05].

  • This study was conducted to develop an electro-hydraulic three-point hitch control system using an electro-hydraulic servo valve and microcomputer and to investigate the performance of the three-point hitch control system through indoor and field experiments. 1. The results from indoor experiments coincided with those from computer simulation reported in the previous paper. However, the draft control with the value 4 of Kd showed a slight sustained oscillation after it reached the draft set. 2. From the field experiments, it appeared that the RMS errors increased with the ground speed of tractor. In position control, the three-point hitch control system with electro-hydraulic servo valve showed better performance than that with on-off electro-magnetic valve in the ground speed less than 1.6 m/s. In draft control, however, there was no significant differece in performance between those two systems. 3. In depth control, the both types of electro-hydraulic three-point hitch control system showed better performance than the conventional mechanical-hydraulic three-point hitch control system.

백밸브마스크를 이용한 1인 심폐소생술에서 구조자 위치 변화에 따른 가슴압박과 인공호흡의 질 변화 연구 (Comparison of cardiopulmonary resuscitation quality using the over-the-head and lateral conventional positions with a bag-valve-mask device performed by a single rescuer : A manikin study)

  • Purpose: There are few studies on the quality of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) performed by a single rescuer using a bag-valve-mask device. The aim of this study is to compare CPR quality outcomes according to the rescuer's position or mask fixation grip method and to determine the optimal means of achieving therapeutic goals. Methods: The three CPR methods were defined as over-the-head, lateral-superior, and lateral-inferior, depending on the rescuer's position or mask fixation hand placement. CPR quality was estimated for 83 paramedic students who performed 5 minutes of CPR in a randomized sequence on a manikin using each of the three methods. Results: The over-the-head method showed no advantage for cardiac compression and ventilation quality, but minimized the rescuer's fatigue score. Conclusion: In contrast to previous studies or prevailing beliefs, the lateral-superior position is optimal for achieving therapeutic goals with moderate or minimal rescuer fatigue.

고속 온.오프 전자밸브를 사용한 유압실린더 힘 제어계의 응답성 개선 (Response Improvement in Hydraulic Cylinder Force Control System by Using a High Speed On-Off Electro-Magnetic Valve)

  • High speed on-off electro-magnetic valves have been used for pressure control or flow control in automotive or construction machine servomechanisms. These systems require quicker valve switching speed to improve control preciseness. The authors designed and manufactured an electric valve driver with quick response characteristics by using 3 power source type valve driver concept. In experiments by using a hydraulic system incorporating the new valve driver, the new driver shortened the switching lag time from 5 ms to 1.3 ms. And also the new driver showed excellent position tracking control performances.
