  • To survive in the competitive environment, hospitals pay more attention to patient satisfaction than ever before. Nurses are the employee that have frequent interactions with patients in a hospital, and therefore, the effective management of nursing staff is crucial to maintain high level of patient satisfaction. Searching for a way to an effective human resource management in nursing, this study attempted to investigate the pre-dispositional factors of customer orientation of registered nurses in a hospital. The customer orientation concept is originated from marketing literature and defined as the attitude of employee that focus on establishing a long term relationship rather than short term gains in dealing with customers. The study hypothesized that the personal trait of individual and the perceived level of empowerment affect the level of customer orientation of nurses. We tested the hypothesis 10 a teaching hospital. Three-hundred seventy two nurses were surveyed and 235 responses were collected. Out of the 235 responses, 24 responses were discarded due to the incomplete answers to the questionnaire and 211 responses were analyzed. The data were analyzed using factor analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the enjoyment dimension of customer orientation was affected by the agreeableness, consciousness, and openness of personal traits and the need dimension of customer orientation was affected by the agreeableness and level of empowerment. Based on the results the research and nursing resources management implications were discussed.

  • Proximate composition, dimension, water uptake and volume increase rates of three cultivars of Korean kidney beans, Pink(PKB), Red(RKB) and White(WKB) were compared. Significant differences in the proximate composition and calorie were not observed among samples. Hull removed samples showed the lowest ash content and the highest calorie. The rates of water uptake increased as the soaking temperature increased from 10~4$0^{\circ}C$. The moisture gain of the kidney beans during soaking showed a similar pattern to volume increase. Water uptake and volume increase rates were in the decreasing order of PKB, RKB and WKB. Moisture and volume gains held a linear relation with the square root of soaking time regardless soaking temperatures. The activation energies of water uptake and volume increase were 3033~3087 and 3077~ 3161 kcal/mole, respectively. The log time to reach a fixed moisture content showed a linear relation with soaking temperature regardless soaking temperatures. The z-values calculated from weight and volume changes decreased in proportions to the increase of hydration. The z-values of weight and volume to reach 50% hydration were 50.5~56.6$^{\circ}C$ and 48.4~61.2$^{\circ}C$, respectively.

  • The Semantic Web has increased the interest in ontologies recently Ontology is an essential component of the semantic web and continues to change and evolve. We consider versions management schemes in ontology. We study a set of changes based on domain changes, changes in conceptualization, metadata changes, and temporal dimension. Our change specification is represented by a set of changes. A set of changes consists of instance data change, structural change, and identifier change. In order to support a query in ontology versions, we consider temporal dimension includes valid time. Ontology versioning brings about massive amount of versions to be stored and maintained. We present the ontology versions management schemes that are 1) storing all the change sets, 2) storing the aggregation of change sets periodically, and 3) storing the aggregation of change sets using an adaptive criterion. We conduct a set of experiments to compare the performance of each versions management schemes. We present the experimental results for evaluating the performance of the three version management schemes from scheme 1 to scheme 3. Scheme 1 has the least storage usage. The average response time in Scheme 1 is extremely large, those of Scheme 3 is smaller than Scheme 2. Scheme 3 shows a good performance relatively.

  • Purpose: This study aims to investigate awareness and performance of infection control during ambulance attendant training, and to provide basic data for infection control. Methods: The subjects were 235 paramedic students who completed ambulance attendant training. There were 51 questions. The infection control dimension was divided into hand washing, personal protective equipment use, and environmental management, for each sub-dimension, awareness and performance were measured by a 4-point scale. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS statistics ver. 22.0. Results: A total of 95.3%, of the subjects completed an orientation for ambulance attendant training and 71.7% received education on infection. In all three sub-dimensions, hand- washing (p<.001), personal protective equipment use (p<.001), and environmental management (p<.001), awareness scored higher than performance. The awareness of infection control showed a significantly positive correlation (r=.394) with performance. Conclusion: In order to improve performance of infection control, education to improve awareness should be provided, and paramedics with higher performance levels in hand washing, and use of gloves and masks wearing should be assigned as training advisors.

  • This research presents author co-citation analysis of the subject area in the humanities - Korean history. Three approaches to multivariate analyses were used to display the inter-author relationships in the similarity matrix. Data on co-citation of sixty seven authors for the period of 19801989 were extracted from the database constructed by author. The author's name, here refers to a body of writings by a person, is the unit of analysis. The data were subjected to non-metric multidimensional scaling program create two-dimensional map of authors. Authors with similarity are clustered using hierarchical agglomerative procedure and it is found that five clusters in Korean history represent primarily research specializations. Author map of Korean history reveals the first dimension corresponding to subject orientation of authors and the second dimension corresponds to research method or research style. In factor analysis, each factor reflects research specialty made up of authors, and factor locadings demonstrate the breadth or concentration of sixty seven authors' scholarly contributions on Korean history. It is demonstrated that the· specific methodology employed by this research, author co-citation analysis, is useful to represent the intellectual structure of Korean history.

  • Let M be an R-module, where R is a commutative ring with identity 1 and let G(V,E) be a graph. In this paper, we study the graphs associated with modules over commutative rings. We associate three simple graphs $ann_f({\Gamma}(M_R))$, $ann_s({\Gamma}(M_R))$ and $ann_t({\Gamma}(M_R))$ to M called full annihilating, semi-annihilating and star-annihilating graph. When M is finite over R, we investigate metric dimensions in $ann_f({\Gamma}(M_R))$, $ann_s({\Gamma}(M_R))$ and $ann_t({\Gamma}(M_R))$. We show that M over R is finite if and only if the metric dimension of the graph $ann_f({\Gamma}(M_R))$ is finite. We further show that the graphs $ann_f({\Gamma}(M_R))$, $ann_s({\Gamma}(M_R))$ and $ann_t({\Gamma}(M_R))$ are empty if and only if M is a prime-multiplication-like R-module. We investigate the case when M is a free R-module, where R is an integral domain and show that the graphs $ann_f({\Gamma}(M_R))$, $ann_s({\Gamma}(M_R))$ and $ann_t({\Gamma}(M_R))$ are empty if and only if $$M{\sim_=}R$$. Finally, we characterize all the non-simple weakly virtually divisible modules M for which Ann(M) is a prime ideal and Soc(M) = 0.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore and empirically analyze the factors affecting transparency and public accountability in local government, which have not been sufficiently researched in terms of human resource management, and good governance implementation. In particular, this study intends to examine human resource management activities focusing on the government effectiveness dimension. This study uses a qualitative approach and phenomenological method to examine the phenomenon of participant experience along with documents that are in the setting under study. Participants consisted of nine people from the Regional Government Work Unit of Tasikmalaya City, the private sector, and the community. The researcher divided data analysis into three sub-indicators, including effectiveness and efficiency, responsiveness, and public service. The Results show Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Tasikmalaya City as sufficient in terms of human resources, this can be verified from the number of leaders and staff, which amounts to 58 people, of which 80% are economic graduates. Although the quantity is adequate, the quality of human resources in BPKAD in Tasikmalaya City is still weak. In Conclusion of this study it is inferred that the application of the government effectiveness dimension in BPKAD Tasikmalaya City is not optimal and need adequate training to improve employee performance in financial management.

  • High-rise buildings with vertical setback are widely used in practice. From the field investigation of the past earthquakes, it was found that such kind of vertically irregular high-rise building structures easily suffer severe damage during strong earthquakes. This paper presents an extensive study on the earthquake responses of moment-resisting frame structures (MFS) popularly applied in high-rise buildings with vertical setback. Four groups of MFS are designed, including three groups of structures with vertical setback and one group of structures with the lateral stiffness varying along the building height but without vertical setback. The numerical models of the structures are established, and the time history analysis of the structures under different levels of earthquakes is conducted. The earthquake responses of the structures are compared. The influence of the ratio between the horizontal setback dimension and the previous plan dimension, the eccentricity of setback, and the position where the setback occurs on the seismic performance of structures is studied. The rationality of the provisions for the structures with vertical setback specified in the current design codes is checked by the findings from this study.

  • In this paper, we investigates the benefits of using social media on intentions and implementation entrepreneurial. This study took place in a well-known vocational college in Bandung, Indonesia, from July 2020 to January 2021. The research method used was the explanatory survey. Research data obtained from 317 respondent. Factor analysis and multiple regression were used to analyze the data. According to this study, social media has three dimensions: ease of use, controllability, usability, and profit. Entrepreneurial intention is made up of two components: entrepreneurial motive and entrepreneurial effort. Furthermore, there are four components to entrepreneurship implementation: investment courage, technology tools, social media skills, and environmental support. Other findings of each dimension of social media proved to affect entrepreneurial intention positively. The four aspects of entrepreneurial execution were likewise positively influenced by the dimension of entrepreneurial intention. This research reveals that students make the most use of the technologies available on social media for business and interactively communicate with their customers. Therefore, social media plays a role in accelerating the growth of entrepreneurship among students. However, more research is needed to see if there is a continuous pattern in the findings of this study so that the findings can be generalized.
