기능성이 반영된 오리가미 패션의 표현특성 (The Expressive Characteristics of Origami Fashion based on Functionality)

  • From traditional ceremony to science technology, origami was used as technique for artistic creativity and functionality based on formative characteristics. The purpose of this study is to analyze the expressive characteristics of functionality in fashion design using origami technique. The method of this study was to analyze recent documentaries, fashion books, fashion magazines, internet web site and so forth. The results were as follows: In various fields of design, the category of the expressive characteristics was classified as efficient correspondence of space, compositive convergence of function, variable potentiality of form and human ergonomic optimum. In recent origami fashion based on functionality, the efficient correspondence of space was expressed constructive or decorative pocket design, using on clothing surface and varied design by lifestyle. The compositive convergence of function was expressed innovative connection of fashion items or non-fashion items and deconstructed classical clothing pattern. The variable potentiality of form was expressed control of form by irregular fold, dynamic metamorphosis by organic fold and creation of varied clothing silhouette. The human ergonomic optimum was expressed metamorphosis mechanism from two dimension to three dimension, suitable construction to physical ability and limit and organic form based on articular folding. The functional origami fashion means reflection of nomadic lifestyle, maximum of usability, pursuit of playful sensibility, creation of new body aesthetic and pursuit of technology and humanism. And the result of these study may be used for creative inspiration in fashion design because of unique characteristics.

A New Public Key Encryption Scheme based on Layered Cellular Automata

  • Cellular automata (CA) based cryptosystem has been studied for almost three decades, yet most of previously reported researches focus on the symmetric key encryption schemes. Up to now, few CA based public key encryption scheme has been proposed. To fill the gap, in this paper, we propose a new public key encryption scheme based on layered cellular automata (LCA). Specifically, in the proposed scheme, based on the T-shaped neighborhood structure, we combine four one-dimensional reversible CAs (set as the private key) to form the transition rules of a two-dimension CA, where the two-dimension CA is set as the corresponding public key. Based on the hardness assumption of the Decisional Dependent CA problem in LCA, we formally prove the proposed scheme is indistinguishably secure against the chosen-plaintext attack (IND-CPA). In addition, we also use a numeric example to demonstrate its feasibility. Finally, analysis of key space and time efficiency are also carried out along with RSA-1024, and the simulation results demonstrate that our proposed scheme is more efficient.

STALE REDUCTIONS OF SINGULAR PLANE QUARTICS

  • Let $M_g$ be the moduli space of isomorphism classes of genus g smooth curves. It is a quasi-projective variety of dimension 3g - 3, when $g > 2$. It is known that a complete subvariety of $M_g$ has dimension $< g-1 [D]$. In general it is not known whether this bound is rigid. For example, it is not known whether $M_4$ has a complete surface in it. But one knows that there is a complete curve through any given finite points [H]. Recently, an explicit example of a complete curve in moduli space is given in [G-H]. In [G-H] they constructed a complete curve of $M_3$ as an intersection of five hypersurfaces of the Satake compactification of $M_3$. One way to get a complete curve of $M_3$ is to find a complete one dimensional family $p : X \to B$ of plane quartics which gives a nontrivial morphism from the base space B to the moduli space $M_3$. This is because every non-hyperelliptic smooth curve of genus three can be realized as a nonsingular plane quartic and vice versa. This paper has come out from the effort to find such a complete family of plane quartics. Since nonsingular quartics form an affine space some fibers of p must be singular ones. In this paper, due to the semistable reduction theorem [M], we search singular plane quartics which can occur as singular fibers of the family above. We first list all distinct plane quartics in terms of singularities.

  • 기동표적의 추적은 실제의 표적 궤적과 기동의 통계적 특성을 미리 알 수 없기 때문에 매우 어려운 일이다. 이를 해결하기 위한 여러 가지 기법들이 제안되었고 이들 방식은 과거의 고전적인 방법에 비해 상당한 성능향상을 가져왔다. 이들 중에서 많이 사용되고 있는 방법은 입력추정, 가변차원 및 회전가속도 추정기를 사용하는 필터이다. 이들에 대한 성능은 각각 해석되어 왔으나 비교 분석되지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 칼만필터를 기본으로 한 이들 필터에 대하여 추적 성능을 비교한다. 실제적인 기동표적의 추적에 용이하게 적용할 수 있도록 3가지 종류의 회전 기동에 대해 Monte-Carlo 시뮬레이션을 수행하고 그 결과를 비교 분석함으로써 각 필터에 대한 특성을 해석한다.

쾌 및 각성차원 기반 얼굴 표정인식 (Facial expression recognition based on pleasure and arousal dimensions)

  • 본 논문은 내적상태의 차원모형을 기반으로 한 얼굴 표정인식을 위한 새로운 시스템을 제시한다. 얼굴표정 정보는 3단계로 추출된다. 1단계에서는 Gabor 웨이브렛 표상이 얼굴 요소들의 경계선을 추출한다. 2단계에서는 중립얼굴상에서 얼굴표정의 성긴 특징들이 FCM 군집화 알고리즘을 사용하여 추출된다. 3단계에서는 표정영상에서 동적인 모델을 사용하여 성긴 특징들이 추출된다. 마지막으로 다층 퍼셉트론을 사용하여 내적상태의 차원모델에 기반한 얼굴표정 인식을 보인다. 정서의 이차원 구조는 기본 정서와 관련된 얼굴표정의 인식 뿐만 아니라 다양한 정서의 표정들로 인식할 수 있음을 제시한다.

  • 컴퓨터 분야에서 얼굴근육 이미지합성은 살아있는 것 같은 모델을 실현하기 위한 가장 실재적인 접근방법 중의 하나이며, 얼굴근육 모델은 얼굴조직 성분과 근육으로 구성된다. 이 모델에서 얼굴 조직 성분에 영향을 주는 힘(force)은 각 근육의 수축강도로써 계산되어지고, 각 근육 파라메터의 결합은 명확한 얼굴표현으로 결정한다. 또한 각 근육 파라메터는 실험과 샘플 사진과 근육편집기로 생성한 명확한 이미지를 비유하여 에러처리과정을 통해 결정된다. 이 논문에서 신경회로망을 사용한 2D(Two-Dimension) 지시점의 움직임으로부터 얼굴근육의 자동인식 방법을 제안하고자 하며, 얼굴모델을 기반으로 한 물리학적 제한하에 캡처된 이미지에서 정보 흐름과 2D 포인트로부터 3D(Three-Dimension) 움직임 인식을 하고자 한다.

  • Expert system is a practical application part of the artificial intelligence and can be generally described as a computer-based system designed to simulate the knowledge and reasoning of a human expert, and to make that knowledge conveniently available to other people in a useful way. Expert systems consist of three major components, knowledge base, inference engine and user interface. In this paper, it is aimed to construct a prototype system to design the horizontal-typed pressure vessel. To do this, a representative artificial programming language, Turbo Prolog, was employed, and the knowledge representation was mainly done by the production rule such as "If(condition), than (action)" style and by the predicate logic. In the developed system, it was quite easy to represent the knowledge of "If(condition), then (action)"style and by the predicate logic. A new description of the fractal dimension of particle aggregates in liquid medium

  • The possible existence forms of particle aggregates in liquid medium are classified into four different types according to their morphological characteristics, including the single particles that are separated from each other, the linear aggregates in which all component particles are located in a line, the planar aggregates where all particles are arranged on a plane, and the volumetric aggregates where all particles forms a three-dimensional space. These particle aggregates with different space morphologies have different fractal dimensions and different influence on the rheological phenomena of the solid-liquid system. The effects of various aggregates on the suspension viscosity are analyzed and related with the particle concentration, and then a mathematical model is presented to determine the fractal dimensions of various aggregates by measuring the apparent viscosity of the solid-liquid system. In the model, the viscous fractal dimension is developed as a new concept, the fractal dimensions of different aggregates can be obtained separately and then the relative components of various aggregates experimentally analyzed.

Internal Flow Characteristics of a Francis Hydro Turbine Model by Internal Flow Passage Shapes

  • As a core component of a hydropower station, hydro turbines play a vital role in the integration of a power station. Research on the technology of hydro turbine is continuously increasing with the development of water electricity. On the basis of one-dimensional loss analysis, for three-dimension design, there are a lot of dimension of the internal flow passage shapes that are determined by experience. Therefore, the effect of the internal flow passage shapes on the performance and internal flow characteristics of a Francis hydro turbine model is investigated in this study. In this study, the small curvature of runner blade trailing edge shape is good for improving the efficiency of Francis turbine. The straight stay vane leading edge is good for suppressing the secondary flow. Moreover, suitable tongue passage shape and stay vane number improve the performance of the turbine considerably.

관여가 의복품목별 평가기준에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Involvement on Evaluative Criteria of Clothing Items)

  • The purpose of this study is , by analyze the relationship among clothing involvement which is major expanatory variable in the stage of product purchase and consumption, evaluation criteria of housewives, to help to give understanding the concept of involvement and to supply the fundamental data for constructing marketing stratege. The subject of this study was a 510 housewives and the items of study were three such as suit , one piece dress, blouse, skirt , and blue jean, T-shirt. For analyzing data frequency analysis, percent , mean , standard deviation , factor analysis. F-test, Duncan -test , MANOVA, t-test , and Pearson's product -moment correlation coefficient were used. The results are as follows. 1. Clothing involvement was divided into 4 dimensions such as fashion, pleasure, symbolism, and perceived risk. Evaluative criteria had 5 dimensions such as harmony , dignity , practicality , price, and fashion. 2. There was significant difference in the occupaton of working housewives and the expenditure of money on clothing concerning clothing involvement. 3. There was significant difference in items concerning the degrees of importance of each evaluation factor. Harmony was the first important dimension and practicality was the second by housewives. The degree of clothing involvement has a significant positive correlation with the factors of evaluation on each item. Each dimension of clothing involvement had a significant positive correlation with the factors of evaluation.
