유출메커니즘을 활용한 감천유역에서의 새로운 홍수위험지도 작성 (New Flood Hazard Mapping using Runoff Mechanism on Gamcheon Watershed)

  • 본 연구에서는 유역에서의 잠재적인 홍수위험도를 예측하기 위해서 지형도, 토양도, 토지이용도를 조합하여 해석하였다. 유역에서의 표고자료, 토양도자료 및 토지이용자료 등을 활용하여 유출생성지도와 유출누적지도를 작성하였고, 이를 홍수위험지도 작성에 활용하였다. 유출생성지도 작성을 위해 토지이용, 토양두께, 불투수성, 토양침식도, 그리고 지형기복을 유출인자로 고려하였고, 유출누적지도 작성을 위해 토지이용, 경사도, 유출 천이점, 그리고 저지대분석 결과를 이용하였다. 지도 작성을 위해 다기준의사결정법의 하나인 TOPSIS 기법을 적용하였고, 유출생성 및 누적과 관련한 인자들을 평가기준으로, 각 분석지역의 격자들을 대안으로 고려하였다. 제안된 방법론을 낙동강의 감천유역에 적용하였으며, 기존의 홍수위험지도 작성방법과 비교하여 합리적인 범위내에서 잘 일치하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 제안한 방법론은 다양한 홍수위험지도 작성시 가이드라인으로 제시될 수 있으며, 국토계획 수립이나 비상대처계획 수립시 홍수에 대한 위험지역 선정을 위한 사전검토 단계에서 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

간섭무늬 영상 등고선 해석과 보간법을 이용한 박막의 삼차원 정보 형상화 (3D Simulation of Thin Film using Contour Analysis of Interference Fringe Image and Interpolation Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 박막의 삼차원 형상을 신속하게 획득하기 위한 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 반사광 측정 장치에 기반한 박막 측정 장비들은 170포인트에 대한 두께를 측정하는데 약 30분 이상의 시간이 요구되므로 박막의 전체적인 형상 정보를 신속하게 파악하는데 적합하지 않다. 제안하는 방법은 Canny 경계검출기를 이용하여 간섭무늬 영상으로부터 등고선을 검출하는 영상 분석법을 기반으로 한다. 검출된 등고선에 대한 절대적인 두께를 측정하고 Borgefors 거리변환 알고리즘을 이용한 보간 처리를 통해 등고선으로부터 높이 맵 정보를 추출한다. 추출된 높이 맵은 DirectX를 사용하여 높이 맵 지형처리 기법으로 삼차원 형상화 된다. 제안된 방법은 적은 수를 가지는 등고선에 대한 높이 정보만을 실측하게 되므로 약 5분의 수행시간으로 박막의 전반적인 삼차원두께 패턴 정보를 얻을 수 있다.

선형적 위상배열 코일구조의 시뮬레이션을 통한 민감도지도의 공간 해상도 및 필터링 변화에 따른 MR-SENSE 영상재구성 평가 (Evaluation of MR-SENSE Reconstruction by Filtering Effect and Spatial Resolution of the Sensitivity Map for the Simulation-Based Linear Coil Array)

  • Parallel imaging technique can provide several advantages for a multitude of MRI applications. Especially, in SENSE technique, sensitivity maps were always required in order to determine the reconstruction matrix, therefore, a number of difference approaches using sensitivity information from coils have been demonstrated to improve of image quality. Moreover, many filtering methods were proposed such as adaptive matched filter and nonlinear diffusion technique to optimize the suppression of background noise and to improve of image quality. In this study, we performed SENSE reconstruction using computer simulations to confirm the most suitable method for the feasibility of filtering effect and according to changing order of polynomial fit that were applied on variation of spatial resolution of sensitivity map. The image was obtained at 0.32T(Magfinder II, Genpia, Korea) MRI system using spin-echo pulse sequence(TR/TE = 500/20 ms, FOV = 300 mm, matrix = $128{\times}128$, thickness = 8 mm). For the simulation, obtained image was multiplied with four linear-array coil sensitivities which were formed of 2D-gaussian distribution and the image was complex white gaussian noise was added. Image processing was separated to apply two methods which were polynomial fitting and filtering according to spatial resolution of sensitivity map and each coil image was subsampled corresponding to reduction factor(r-factor) of 2 and 4. The results were compared to mean value of geomety factor(g-factor) and artifact power(AP) according to r-factor 2 and 4. Our results were represented while changing of spatial resolution of sensitivity map and r-factor, polynomial fit methods were represented the better results compared with general filtering methods. Although our result had limitation of computer simulation study instead of applying to experiment and coil geometric array such as linear, our method may be useful for determination of optimal sensitivity map in a linear coil array.

X-밴드 산란계를 이용한 하천 얼음 두께 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measurement of River Ice Thickness by Using X-band Scatterometer)

  • 본 연구에서는 X-band 파장 대역에서 얼음의 두께를 측정하기 위해 중심주파수가 9.5 GHz (X-band)인 안테나를 사용하여 지상용 마이크로파 산란계를 구축하였고, 얼음에서의 후방산란을 측정하였다. 산란계로 측정된 얼음에서의 레이더 후방산란은 공기/얼음 경계면과 얼음/물 경계면에서 매우 강했으며, 두 경계면 사이의 거리와 얼음의 굴절률을 이용하여 두께 산출이 가능함을 확인하였다. 얼음 두께 측정을 위한 현장탐사는 춘천호의 유입지류인 지암천의 하류에서 수행되었다. 탐사 측선을 따라 얼음에서의 후방산란을 측정한 후 얼음의 두께를 산출하였으며, 크리깅 보간법을 사용하여 지암천 하류의 얼음두께 지도를 제작하였다. 얼음의 두께는 대부분 50 cm로 나타났으며, 하천의 유속이 빠른 지점에서는 얼음의 두께가 30 ~ 40 cm로 얇았다. 유속이 일정한 곳에서 주변보다 얼음 두께가 얇은 지점이 관찰되었는데, 이는 얼음 내에 마이크로파 산란에 영향을 미치는 매개물이 존재하거나 낚시를 위해 인위적으로 얼음을 뚫은 후 다시 얼었기 때문인 것으로 판단되었다. 본 연구는 향후 X-band SAR 시스템과 항공기 탑재 산란계 시스템의 활용분야 확대에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

조성비에 따른 3종 페라이트/고무 복합형 전파흡수체의 특성 (Properties of Three Kinds of Ferrite/Rubber Composite Microwave Absorbers with Various Composition Ratio)

  • In this study, three kinds of Mn-Zn ferrite/Ni-Zn ferrite/$Ni_2Y$ ferroxplana prepared by the coprecipitation method were compounded with the silicon rubber, and the ring-shaped specimens with various compositional ratio were made. The material constant of ferrite/rubber composite absorbers was obtained by the 2-port method. The material constants of the ferrite/rubber composite microwave absorber made of three kinds of ferrite with various compositional ratio were utilized in design the matching conditions (frequency and thickness) on the impedance matching map. We were able to predict the matching condition from the matching map. On all three kinds of ferrite/rubber composite microwave absorber with less than compositional ratio 60[wt.%] of ferroxplana, we have found that the reflection losses were over than 20[dB] at the S-Band $(2\sim4[GHz])$ and C-Band$(4\sim8[GHz])$.

Application of a weight-of-evidence model to landslide susceptibility analysis Boeun, Korea

  • The weight-of-evidence model one of the Bayesian probability model was applied to the task of evaluating landslide susceptibility using GIS. Using the location of the landslides and spatial database such as topography, soil, forest, geology, land use and lineament, the weight-of-evidence model was applied to calculate each factor's rating at Boun area in Korea where suffered substantial landslide damage fellowing heavy rain in 1998, The factors are slope, aspect and curvature from the topographic database, soil texture, soil material, soil drainage, soil effective thickness, and topographic type from the soil database, forest type, timber diameter, timber age and forest density from the forest map, lithology from the geological database, land use from Landsat TM satellite image and lineament from IRS satellite image. Tests of conditional independence were performed for the selection of the factors, allowing the 43 combinations of factors to be analyzed. For the analysis, the contrast value, W$\^$+/and W$\^$-/, as each factor's rating, were overlaid to map laudslide susceptibility. The results of the analysis were validated using the observed landslide locations, and among the combinations, the combination of slope, curvature, topographic, timber diameter, geology and lineament show the best results. The results can be used for hazard prevention and planning land use and construction

  • The purpose of this study is to reveals spatial relationships between landslides and geospatial data set, map the landslide susceptibility using the relationships and verify the landslide susceptibility using the landslide occurrence data in Bosun area in 1998. Landslide locations were detected from aerial photography and field survey and topography, soil, forest, and land use data sets were constructed as a spatial database using GIS. As the landslide occurrence factors, slope, aspect, curvature and type of topography, texture, material, drainage and effective thickness of soil, type, age, diameter and density of wood and land use were used. Is extract the relationship between landslides and geospatial database, Bayesian probability methods, likelihood ratio and weight of evidence, were applied and the ratio and contrast value that is W$\^$+/- W$\^$-/ were calculated. The landslide susceptibility index was calculated by summation of the likelihood ratio and contrast value and the landslide susceptibility maps were generated using the index. As a result, it is expected that spatial relationships between landslides and geospatial database is helpful to explain the characteristics of landslide and the landslide susceptibility map is used to reduce associated hazards, and to plan land use and construction.

Application of Linkage Disequilibrium Mapping Methods to Detect QTL for Carcass Quality on Chromosome 6 Using a High Density SNP Map in Hanwoo

  • The purpose of this study was to detect QTL for carcass quality on bovine chromosome (BTA) 6 using a high density SNP map in a Hanwoo population. The data set comprised 45 sires and their 427 Hanwoo steers that were born between spring of 2005 and fall of 2007. The steers that were used for progeny testing in the Hanwoo Improvement Center in Seosan, Korea, were genotyped with the 2,535SNPs on BTA6 that were embedded in the Illumina bovine SNP 50K chip. Four different linkage disequilibrium (LD) mapping models were applied to detect significant SNPs for carcass quality traits; the fixed model with a single marker, the random model with a single marker, the random model with haplotype effects using two adjacent markers, and the random model at hidden state. A total of twelve QTL were detected, for which four, one, three and four SNPs were detected on BTA6 under the respective models (p<0.001). Among the detected QTL, four, two, five and one QTL were associated with carcass weight, backfat thickness, longissimus dorsi muscle area, and marbling score, respectively (p<0.001). Our results suggest that the use of multiple LD mapping approaches may be beneficial in increasing power to detect QTL given a limited sample size and magnitude of QTL effect.

  • Corrosion of metallic materials occurs by the reaction with corrosive environment. In general, corrosive environments are classified as atmospheric, marine, soil etc. and regardless of any corrosive environments, reduction of thickness and cracking and degradation are induced by corrosion. Among several corrosive environments, knowing the atmospheric corrosiveness of a region, city, or country is considered of ultimate importance for major industrialists and investors who require knowledge of the corrosive impact of the atmosphere on everyday materials such as carbon steel, weathering steel, zinc, copper, and aluminium. This is why the atmospheric corrosiveness map is needed. This paper dealt with corrosion properties between several waters in the region and carbon steel, weathering steel, galvanized steel, pure copper, and pure aluminium at the representative rural area of Korea - Andong.

GIS 수치지도를 이용한 수리지질학적 변수와 지하수 유동의 분포 (Distributions of Hydrogeological Variables and Flow Field on GIS Digital Map)

  • 경북 포항 북부 지역의 지하수면고도(수두)와 로그-투수량계수의 분포 상황을 효과적으로 나타내기 위해 수치지도를 활용하였다. 특히 분포 상황 구현을 위해 자연 지하수층내의 유한한 측정치들에 지하탐사 통계학적 방법 kriging을 이용하였다. 계산된 variogram들은 spherical model로 근사하였으며 nugget과 range는 각각 0과 6km로 취하였다. 수두의 분포는 북서쪽의 peak로부터 대체로 동쪽 방향으로 낮아지며, 로그-투수량계수는 중심부근에서 최대값을 보이고 외곽쪽으로 감소한다. 지하수면고도와 로그 투수량계수의 분포로부터 지하수의 동쪽 및 북쪽 방향 유량을 유한차분법을 이용하여 계산하였다. 유동의 방향은 peak로부터 대체로 동향이고 peak의 동쪽방면에서 발산하는 경향을 보인다. 지역내의 몇 지점에서는 수렴하는 유동이 나타나기도 한다.
