This paper investigates the current status of the acquisition of information resources at the domestic hospitals. First of all, as a theoretical background, the concept of hospital information systems and the acquisition of information resources are reviewed. Second, as a research methodology, samples, data collection methods, and data analysis methods are discussed. Third, research hypotheses, operational definitions of the research variables and measurement are discussed. Fourth, as research results, characteristics of the samples and the current situations of the acquisition of information rourses are discussed based on the five research hypotheses.

Many strengthening methods are introduced and used to rehabilitate existing structures. However, both theoretical background and application techniques are not. One of the most popular methods is bonded plate method using either steel plate or carbon plate. For bonded plate method, bonding at the end of the plate is the most important properties. In this study, a method to reduce the stress distribution at the end of the bonded plate is found and tested. The results showed that the proposed end anchoring method is effective.

The use of PBD(prefabricated band drain)far ground improvement is rapidly increased due to the merit of construction period and cost, environmental preservation compared with other vertical drain method, and the development of material. This paper presents the historical review, theoretical background, design procedure and method, and typical construction example for the PBD. Also, the direction of further technical development and study is recommended.

An integrated damage identification system (IDIS) using modal information to detect damage in structures is presented. The objective of this study is to develop a system of softwares that facilitates detecting damage locations and estimating damage severities in bridges. Firstly, the theoretical background for IDIS is outlined. Secondly, a GUI-based IDIS software is programmed. Finally, the feasibility and applicability of the IDIS software are experimentally demonstrated using small-scaled plate-girder models.

Even if tracks cross each other, a train has to maintain a good current collection. Where catenary cross each other, it is called a crossover. Based on the cause analysis for a breakdown accident of pantograph occurred in the crossover on Ansan-line, a theoretical background and recommendation for the installation rule of a crossover are presented in the paper.

The results of investigations in screw design for metall injection molding (MIM) will be presented. The consistency of cavity pressure, metering time and MFQ (monitoring of feedstock quality; parameter measured during metering) was chosen to compare different screws. A simulation program was used to optimize the conveying and melting mechanisms in the plastification unit. The theoretical background of this simulation programm will be explained.

This paper focuses on a sociologic approach, the theory of planned behavior (Ajzen 1991) and a sociolinguistic field, the language shift (Fishman 1991, Crystal 2000). It describes the theoretical background of language shift and briefly mentions the history of Hungarian language and Romanian language contacts. After presenting language use of the Hungarian minority students and explaining the theory of planned behavior, it turns to apply the theory of planned behavior to the language shift from the view of bilingual speaker(s). This paper wants to propose the application of the theory of planned behavior in language shift and open new perspective in bilingual research.

The Purpose of this study was to review the theoretical background of burnout in child care teachers organization. Personal factors, Organizational factors, social factors and the factors affecting burnout I examined. The results of this study were as follows. First, Child care teachers need to be burnout to participate in Prevention programs. Second, child care teacher is required to ensure proper staffing, improved working environment through compliance with statutory working hours. Third, Various institutional arrangements required to control the variables affecting child care teachers. Fourth, Child care teacher's role to prevent excessive strategy is needed.
