Research on Information Portal Affordances and System Literacy of Cultural Artists: Focusing on Fuzzy Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (문화예술인의 정보포털 어포던스 및 시스템 리터러시에 대한 연구: 퍼지셋 질적비교 분석을 중심으로)

  • This study conducted a fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis study on culture and arts information portals to ensure practical and universal use and activation of culture and arts information portals. The capabilities and influence of affordances and system literacy according to user experience regarding accessibility to cultural arts information portals are as follows. First, physical affordances in the culture and arts information portal were key conditions for the culture and arts information portal user experience regarding system accessibility, system understandability, system usability, system usability, and system literacy. Second, the functional affordance of the user experience in the cultural arts information portal was relatively low and unimportant, and when the functional affordance was low, the user's system accessibility, system understanding, system usefulness, system usability, and system literacy were increased. Third, if the user's functional affordance and sensory affordance are low in the culture and arts information portal, the system accessibility, system understanding, system usability, and system literacy of the culture and arts information portal users are increased. Fourth, cultural arts information portals must build an innovative system with a systematic approach appropriate for the user base by linking system literacy capabilities with a focus on physical affordances.

  • This paper shows two models of the duplex system having a fault tolerant system characteristic used in airplane and railway system. The architecture of these systems is based on Mc68000, and we designed the single system, single duplex system, dual system and dual duplex system to evaluate the system characteristic. We calculate the failure rate of components using MIL-SPEC-2l7F and evaluate the reliability, avaliability, safety and MTTF(Mean Time To Failure) of the designed systems by Markov model. We choose our system depending on the developing system characteristic.

  • An address is sub-spatial data representing a location, and identifies the place in which a resident's life is based. The Korean address system has changed from an area-based address system to the Road Name Address System in 2014 to solve the problems of the area-based address system and to accept the international address standards. Although the Road Name Address System is continually being modified and implemented it limitations. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to resolve these limitations and to analyze and redefine the Road Name Address System of Korea to implement the street-based address system. To understand the address, we define the components of the address system and analyze the Korean Road Name Address System based on each component to derive the limit. To resolve the limitations of the Road Name Address System and to implement the street-based address system, the Road Name Address System is redefined according to three aspects. Finally, we evaluate the usability of the Road Name Address System proposed in this study through address based geocoding.

  • In view of global environmental problems and resource exhaustion, we must develop new energy resources that are abundant and provide substitutes for fossil fuels. Renewable energies, such as solar, are ideal because they are clean, inexhaustible, and available everywhere in the world. Photovoltaic(PV) system, in general, are operated as a stand-alone, grid-tied, or hybrid system. Many of the stand-alone PV systems are installed. Although the pre-installation cost of PV system is high, it poorly has been operated due to the absence of optimal management standards. Therefore a study on the performance of PV system is important for the system design and maintenance. In this paper a photovoltaic lighting system was resigned according to load consumption. Then a PV lighting system which used electrodeless lamp as a load was installed. In order to investigate the system operating characteristics we've added a monitoring system to the PV lighting system. The monitoring system using the LabVIEW program regularly checks the operation of the PV lighting system and records the system data. According to the system data, the stability and availability of the PV lighting system were evaluated.

  • RCS system consists of RC columns and Steel girders. Because RC columns are useful for compression and steel girders are for bending moment, RCS system has good structural performances. This system, however, has had no verification in the onstruction fields. This paper is a feasibility study on RCS system to verify the structural and economic efficiency of RCS system. On this study, we analyze 18 models selected by existing building data survey, and design these models as steel system,SRC system (Steel + RC system) and RCS system. To verify the economic efficiency of RCS system, we estimate the columns of these models. And we predict the construction procedure of RCS system to compare construction duration of RCS system with others So, in this study we find that RCS system is more economic than steel system and SRC system.

  • The standardization of the urban transit maintenance system consists of BOM System, maintenance parts code system, and accident/trouble code system standardization. This paper is described only the result of BOM System, maintenance parts code system, and accident/trouble code system standardization. The results of standardization are using urban transit maintenance IT system and apply Expert System, RAMS System, and DATABASE contents of various kinds.

  • The structural health monitoring has been gaining more importance in civil engineering areas such as earthquake and wind engineering. The use of health monitoring system can also provide tools for the validation of structural analytical model. However, only few structures such as historical buildings and some important long bridges have been instrumented with structural monitoring system due to high cost of installation, long and complicated installation of system wires. In this paper, the structural monitoring system based on cheap and wireless monitoring system is investigated. The use of advanced technology of micro-electro-mechanical system(MEMS) and wireless communication can reduce system cost and simplify the installation. Further the application of wireless MEMS system can provide enhanced system functionality and due to low noise densities. Identification results are compared to ones using data measured from traditional accelerometers and results indicate that the system identification using wireless MEMS system estimates system parameters accurately.

  • The Maglev(UTM-02) project is leading by Korea Institute of Machinery & Materials and financially supported from the ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy. The early development stagy of Maglev(UTM-02) was adopted the general urban railway pneumatic brake system due to the Korea domestic industrial environment. Currently there is two commercial operation Light Railway Train(LRT) system in Korea. One is U-Line in Uijungbu, and the other is Everline in Yongin. Both LRT systems are adopting high performance light weight hydraulic brake system. But those design and manufacturing core technology of the brake system is came from a major brake system companies located from aboard. Currently various studies have been continued to increase practical application and to improve competitiveness on performance for each sub-system of Maglev. Also in case of brake system, developing competitive hydraulic brake system is required. In this study, we have introduced the development process and performance evaluation of the new hydraulic brake system of Maglev.

Monitoring System Design for the GPS/INS Integrated Navigation System (GPS/INS 통합 항법 시스템용 모니터링 시스템 설계)

  • We propose the monitoring system scheme for the CPS/INS integrated navigation system. The design requirements of the monitoring system are suggested and the software scheme based on GUI is proposed. The proposed monitoring system consists of an I/O interface part, a navigation data display part, and a post-processing part. The I/O interface part is responsible for data communication between the monitoring system and a navigation computer unit. The navigation data display part provides various display methods to show the navigation data to user in real-time. The post-processing part collects the navigation data to analyze the performance of navigation system. The proposed monitoring system software was developed using the Visual C++ programming language and a van test was carried out to demonstrate the real-time operation of the monitoring system. The test result shows that the proposed monitoring system can be effectively applied to the CPS/INS integrated navigation system.

  • This paper seeks to search a improved evaluation system of government sponsored research institutes(GSRI) as a knowledge system It begins with a brief review of the theory of knowledge and knowledge system This is followed by a search of the desirable conditions of the evaluation system of GSRI as a knowledge system These conditions presented are applied within the context of the current evaluation system of GSRI. Finally conclusions are drawn and directions for improvement of the system are outlined.
