Previous research has revealed that people feel past target events are more distant when they recall more intervening events, event markers, that are both accessible in memory and perceived to be related to that target event (Zauberman, Levav, Diehl, and Bhargave 2010). This phenomenon was called the systematic effect of event markers (SEEM). In this research, we explore the moderating effect of the valence of the target event on SEEM and suggest the difficulty of recalling event markers as the possible mechanism. Study 1 shows that SEEM mainly occur when the valence of the target event is negative rather than positive. Study 2 showed that even though people have more difficulty recalling four event markers than one regardless of event valence, the difficulty of recalling event markers only mediates SEEM when the target event valence is negative. Furthermore, when the target event is positive, SEEM does not exist, confirming that the mediating role of the difficulty of recalling event markers on SEEM is moderated by the valence of the target event.

In recent through development of IOT owing to that mass stream data is being generated in variety of application complex event processing technology is being watched with keen interest as a technology to analyze this kind of real-time continuous data. However, the existing study related with complex event processing only comes to an end at simple event processing based on low-level event or comes to an end at service defect discovery with providing limited operator and so on. Accordingly, there would be limitation to provide useful analysis information. In this paper in consideration of complex event along with aspect-oriented programming an extended complex event model is provided, which is possible to provide more valuable and useful information. Specifically, we extend the model to support hierarchical event structures and let the model recognize point-cuts of aspect-oriented programming as events. We provide the event operators designed to specify the events on instances and handle temporal relations of the instances. It is presented that syntax and semantics of constructs in our event processing language including various and progressive event operators, complex event pattern, etc. In addition, an event context mechanism is proposed to analyze more delicate events. Finally, through application studies application possibility of this study would be shown and merits of this event model would be present through comparison with other event model.
The Windows Event Log is a Log that defines the overall behavior of the system, and these files contain data that can detect various user behaviors and signs of anomalies. However, since the Event Log is generated for each action, it takes a considerable amount of time to analyze the log. Therefore, in this study, we designed and implemented an XML-based Event Log analysis tool based on the main Event Log list of "Spotting the Adversary with Windows Event Log Monitoring" presented at the NSA.
The purpose of this study of was to provide basic data for preparing event menus to increase customer's satisfaction by investigating university students' participation and preference for the event menus in the foodservice operations. The questionnaires were distributed to 300 customers from August 1 to 31, 2005. 88.0% of the questionnaires were analyzed. Statistical analysis of data was performed using SAS package program(version 8.2) for descriptive analysis and $χ^2$-test, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Duncan multiple range test. The results of this study can be summarized as follows : 50.4% of the students have participated in foodservice operation's event and the average degree of the satisfaction was 2.67 out of 5. The type of the events customers have most frequently participated in were the national holiday·subdivisions of the season event(47.3%), the day event(34.1%), environment event(26.9%) and so on. In large classification, preferred were season event(85.2%), international food event(76.9%), and healthy food event(73.1%) and so on. In small classification, orgarnic food event(53.0%), summer fruits festival(41.3%), midsummer event(36.6%) and christmas event(34.4%) and so on. From now on, the event reflecting customers' expectation and requirement should be planned and implemented.

The study examines the influence of COVID-19 on the stock market returns of Saudi Arabia. The data was analyzed through event study methodology using daily price data of Tadawul All Share Index (TASI). The study examines the behavior pattern of the Saudi Arabian stock market in different phases during the event period by selecting six-event windows with a range of 10 days. The results report a negative Abnormal Return (AR) of -0.003 on the event date, while the abnormal returns reversed the next day to 0.005 positively. The result of Cumulative Abnormal Return (CAR) is negative and significant at the 1 percent level in all the six-event windows starting from the event date to day 59 after the event for the TASI index. Even though the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic decreased after 30 days of the event date, it increased during the last ten days of the event window. The stock market volatility of Saudi Arabia increased during the post-event period compared to the pre-event period with a negative mean return of -0.326 and a greater standard deviation. In a conclusion, the study found a significant influence of the COVID-19 pandemic on the stock market returns of TASI.

In this study, we present an extended complex event model by considering both of the complex event and the aspect-oriented programming. We propose an advanced scheme for the event specification suited for the event correlation based network management systems by merging these two models. Specifically, we extend the model to support hierarchical event structures and let the model recognize point-cuts of aspect-oriented programming as events. We provide the event operators designed to specify the events on instances and handle temporal relations of the instances. Lastly, we compare the proposed model with other event models and present the benefits of it.

The service quality and image are a central factor in understanding tourists destination choice. Existing literature suggests that sport event and destination image could interact to influence tourism behaviours. The purpose of this study w as to identify the factors influencing local image and re-visit intention in the 68th Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Sport Event held in Yesan city. The results of the study are as follows; First, as a result of factor analysis on the satisfaction with the sports event composed of 17 items, three factors were categorized, which were 'event management', 'event facility' and 'supporting facilities'. Second, satisfaction with local event had a positive effect on local image. Especially, satisfaction with event management had greater effect on local image than event facilities and supporting facilities. Third, as satisfaction with local event had positive effect on re-visitation intention, satisfaction with sports event had positive effect on the success of the sport event itself and re-visitation intention for the region. Fourth, as local image had a positive effect on re-visitation intention, strategic approaches to linking factors of tourism are required to attract visitors in addition to sports events.

Quickly picking up some valuable information from massive manufacturing event stream usually faces with the problem of long detection time, high memory consumption and low detection efficiency due to its stream characteristics of large volume, high velocity, many variety and small value. Aiming to solve the problem above for the current complex event processing methods because of not sharing detection during the detecting process for massive manufacturing event streams, an efficient complex event processing method based on multipattern sharing is presented in this paper. The achievement of this paper lies that a multipattern sharing technology is successfully used to realize the quick detection of complex event for massive manufacturing event streams. Specially, in our scheme, we firstly use pattern sharing technology to merge all the same prefix, suffix, or subpattern that existed in single pattern complex event detection models into a multiple pattern complex event detection model, then we use the new detection model to realize the quick detection for complex events from massive manufacturing event streams, as a result, our scheme can effectively solve the problems above by reducing lots of redundant building, storing, searching and calculating operations with pattern sharing technology. At the end of this paper, we use some simulation experiments to prove that our proposed multiple pattern processing scheme outperforms some general processing methods in current as a whole.
