한국문화에 따른 간호정립을 위한 기초조사연구 I -전통적인 인간관과 환자역할기대를 중심으로- (A Survey for the Construction of Nursing Theory According to Korean Culture -Traditional View of Human and Expectation of Sick Role-)

  • This study was a survey done for the purpose of constructing a nursing theory according to Korean culture and to identify the traditional Korean view of humans and the expectations of the sick role, and to confirm changes from the traditional view of humans and expectations of the sick role according to general characteristics of the population. The subjects were all adults over 18 years old. 517 who lived in six large cities and 191 who lived in five rural communities. Data collection was done from November 19th, 1994 to January 19th, 1995 using a tool to measure the traditional view of humans and expectations of the sick role which was developed by the investigator through a literature review. Collected data were analyzed using frequency, percent, Cronbach alpha, 1-test, F-test and Scheffe post hoc contrasts, with the SAS program. The results of this study are summerized as follows : 1. The Traditional view of human score for all subject was 49.92, which shows that Korean traditional view of human is moderate. High scored items were "human need to live by making harmony with nature, not by overcoming the nature" (3.44), "Filial duty to parents and elders is important" (3.31), "Think of family more than a individual" (2.96). 2. The differences in the traditional view of humans between residential districts showed that the residents of Chungbuk(56.00), Kyungbuk(55.26), Chonbuk(51.32), Taegu(50.59) had a more traditional view of humans than those in Pusan(45.42) and Seoul (47.27). 3. The differences in the traditional view of humans according to general characteristics showed that rural community residents, males, older people, people with lower levels of education, married and house-resident groups had a significantly higher traditional view of humans than urban residents, females, younger people, people with a higher levels of education, single and apartment-resident groups. There were differences according to religion and job. Buddhism had a higher traditional view of humans than those of atheism, Christianity and Catholicism and physical workers, a significantly highers score, than technicians and professional workers. 4. Daily expected task performance during illnesses was lowest for patients with stroke (2.16) and psychosis(2.40), in which case almost no daily general tasks were expected, followed by arthritis 4.06, peptic ulcer 4.79, headache 4.99 and cough 5.58. The amount of expected role exemption during illnesses was also highest for stroke(2.25), followed by psychosis(2.08), arthritis(1.64), peptic ulcer(1.29), headache(1.16) and cough(1.09). The amount of daily task performance in the acute stage(3.05) was significantly lower than that of convalescent stage(4.95). 5. Total expectation of role exemption according to general characteristics showed that there was no significant differences in urban /rural community, marriage, level of education and religion. By sex, women showed higher expectation of role exemption during illnesses than men. By age, the 31-40 year old group showed lower expectation of role exemption than the 41-50 year old group or over the 61 year old group.or over the 61 year old group.

현대(現代) 후기(後期) 실내디자인의 표현성(表現性) (A Study on the Stylistic Expression of Late 20th Century Interior Design)

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the common characteristics of late 20th century interior design style and the post-modern thinking system. A period has its own predominant spirit which determine the tendency of art, and the ubiquitous power in the spirit decides the period's pattern of art. Therefore the interior design style belongs to general art sphere that has its own individual character derived from the dominant power of the controlling system. Paying special attention to this understanding, the auther has processed this paper by combining the post-modem thinking with special characteristics of each of the 20th century interior design style. Until now, researches have been focused on the individual style of post-modern design; however, a general research comprising the whole characteristics of expression has not been made. Accordingly, the rationale of emphasizing the general point of view is establshed. Also, this study suggests a model applicable to studies concerning other art area. This type of methodology is receving more attention as an approach investigating new art ideology for researching post-modern thinking and late 20th century art styles. The conclusions are as follows: First, the distinctive expressions of postmodernism appear to be characteristic of illusion, metaphor, pluralism, decoration, and symmetry, Those of late modernism appear to be the characteristic of complicated simplicity and symplified complexity, passiveness of symbolism and harmony, indeterminacy of form and space, and unintentional decorativeness. And the characteristics of deconstructionism are spatial difference and temporal defferal, and un-reductive and non formal abstractiveness of the space, unfinishness, chance, and secretiveness of individual style. Second, the disinctive expression seems to share common characteristics with postmodern thinking. The best examples are pluralism, non-formalism, populism, and historicism, originating from the deconstruction of 'meta-narrative'. Third, based on the second conclusion, general distinctive expression could be simplified as chacteristics of plurality, hybridity, and indeterminacy. These expressive chacteristics appear to be automatically connected with general postmodern thinking. Last, in consideration of the above conclusion, the extreme generality could be distinctively clarified as 'textural co-exsistence'. Accordingly, the author might confirm that 'textural co-existence' originated from the text that comes from postmodern thinking. In conclusion, design expression of late 20th century interior design accepts the ?universal theme of ubiquitous postmodern thinking. And universal expressions and supreme generality can be common analysis tools for understanding and studying complicated late 20th century interior design.

  • The universe has its order of yang and yin : all creation are continuously generated, grow and die, which is the results of the harmonious operation by yang and yin. Among all creation, the human is one of the samjae(three bases of the world, which are heaved earth, and man) and he is from the combined sukhi(a superior khi) of yang and yin. And human life itself is basically a condensed jonghyul (life blood) and at the same time it is only a transient joining of sadae(the four elements of earth, air, fire and water). Yang and yin, the two axes of the world, therefore. are the most crucial and fundamental concept to explain the generation and extinction of alt creation, to understand people in time and space. to find out the reality of human life as an organism, and, at last, to observe the state of human health. If so, what is the most essential idea in yang and yin\ulcorner It is taegeuk(chungkhi) or tao(of one yang and one yin). If the property of heaven and earth is kongon, taegeuk is a khi and tao a principle. And it can be said that a human body is merely a union of hyung and khi, that human life is an essence of sambo, jeongkhishin, that human health is a harmoninzed coordination of yang and yin because it is from the combined sukhi of yang and yin. Hyung. a vessel for sambo, jeongkhishin, is at the bottom and shin is on the top : the personality and the disposition of individuals differ according to their working. Thus. on the basis of the above discussion. the following can be offered as some suggestions for Korean Nursing Theory. Though human beings are part of Nature, they are the most eminent microcosm among all creation. So, as a subjet for nursing, a person should be understood with khijok kyoryu rather than with logical thinking, then mutual trust between the patient and the nurse can be established. The health of a person depends on the harmony of yang and yin. To be healthy, a person should consider harmonization with Nature(including his surroundings) as well as a balanced human relationships in society. Moreover, it is crucial for each person to obtain hoshim as a method of mind control rather than to only treat the symptoms of disease.

한국인의 건강과 관련된 돌봄 - 강원도 위촌리 지역민을 중심으로 한 문화기술지 - (Caring related to Health in Korea - Ethncgraphy centered Wichon-ri, Kangwon-do -)

  • The propose of the study is to try to support the practice of caring suitable for our cultural emotion by cognating the meaning of caring related to health which is melted in korean culture. Concrete purposes were as followings; to first, confirm the caring of civilian in Kangwon-do, to secondly search the caring in the traditional culture idea, and to thirdly present the conceptual frame about the caring. The methodology of this research is the ethnography to use the depth interview and the participative observation. The geographical area of this research was in Wichon-ri, Songsan- myon, Study participants were, 6men and 18women, totally 24 persons. Their average age was 72.6 years old. The period of data collection was from January, 1998 to April, 1999, which original data became saturation. Data collection was done after accept allowance of the participants, their stories were recorded in cassettee, by the way of the Spradley analysis was applied and adjusted. The results which was analyized as domain, category and property were as following; First, the category was the life serving other persons, which is the for mind, the benefiting one, the comprehensive one, the respective one, on soon. Second, the category was the controling life, and its property was the moderate mind, that is, vegetables were tried to be fed moderately, pleasantly and comfortable. Thirdly, the category was the eagerness life, and the properties were diligent mind, and mind which accomplished the complete resposibility. Fourth, the category was a happy life, and the properties were positive mind, satisfying one, thankful one, one of their ancestors benefit, and supplicatory one. Fifth, the category was the accepting life, and the properties were the submissive mind, resign one. Sixth, the category was the joint life all together and the properties were the harmonized mind, and the mutual helping one. Seventh, the category was the ruling life, and the properties were the pure mind, the ones which controls the body, the mind, the nature; which could surely confirmed the source of the life that lived with the nature, the native idea of our people. Eighth, the category was the retaining life, and the properties were the inherits the native custom, and the one that keep public morals. According to the result of examining the caring in ethnography, the general caring was performed the conceptual frame about the caring which is related to health was found in the principle of consideration, harmony, compliance, and transcendence.

C.M.I.간이법에 의한 노인들의 건강수소율 (Health Complaints of Elderly Persons Using a Modified C.M.I.)

  • The explosion of the aging population is changing the social environment of today's older people. Traditionally in Korea, a large percentage(over 90%) of elderly parents have lived with their married first son. But today, the number of elderly who live with their married sons has decreased(65.6%) The number of those who live in a different situation such as with their married daughter, unmarried offspring, with a spouse or alone has increased (34.4%) We can expect that the number of the elderly who have to live in institution will increase. The objective of this investigation was to determine differences in the number of health Complaints of older people according to their living situation with a view to planning more effective health care. The sample consisted of 231 persons over 65 years of age, 60 living in an Old Age Home ana 171 living in their own home in Kwangju. Data were gathered from July 9 to 26, 1983 by nursing students using a Questionnaire which was a modified form of the Cornell Medical Index. The data were categorized according to the subjects, living, sex, educational level, previous occupation, hobbies and sexual activity. The date were analyzed for statistical significant differences using F and X²tests. findings included the following: 1. There was a higher number of health complaints from persons who live in the institution than those living at home, but the difference was not significant. 2. The highest number of health Complaints were from persons who live alone, followed by those living with their daughters, and then by those living in the institution. Persons who live with their sons had the least Complaints. The difference in the number of Complaints accord-ing to with whom they were living was significant. 3. Women had signincantly more Complaints than men. Persons who were not living with their spouses had significantly more complaints than those living with their spouses.4. The higher eductional level the persons had, the less health Complaints they had. The number of Complaints accoraing to educational level was significantly different. 5. The highest number of health complaints were from persons who had involved in Commerce and industry, followed by those in Agriculture. Persons who were civil servant had the least 6. There were more complains from persons who had no hobby than those with hobbies. The complaints. The difference was significant. difference was significant. 7. Persons who said they were sexually inactive had significantly more complaints than those who said they were sexually active. As age increased, sexual activity significantly decreased. Those who lived with their spouse were significantly more sexually active. 8. The highest number of Somatic Complaints were eye fatigue, followed by nocturnal frequency, lumbago, cramps in extremities, vertigo, stiffness in Shoulder, tinnitus, common cold and constipation. The order of Psychic Complaints from higher to lower were anger. sensitivity, anxiety, depression and loneliness. 9. This group of Elderly persons said they valued Health the most, followed by Harmony, Religion, Money and Honor.

공무원의 불법행위와 국가배상책임의 고찰 (A Study on the Tort of Public Servant and Liability in State Compensation)

  • 현대 국가는 과학기술의 발달에 따른 산업화와 정보화 추세 속에서 다양한 위험이 항상 따르게 된다. 이러한 환경하에서, 공무원의 직무수행 중 불법행위로 인하여 국민이 손해를 입은 경우에, 이를 구제해 주기 위해 우리 헌법은 국가배상청구권을 보장하고 있다. 국가배상의 문제는 법치국가의 원리에 따른 피해자의 권리구제, 공무원의 불법행위의 억제, 안정된 공무수행의 보장, 국고의 안정 등의 다양한 가치들을 조화롭게 고려하여야 한다. 그런데 현대 법치국가에서 공무원이 한 행위를 국가가 책임을 지는 이상, 반드시 고의와 과실을 요건으로 하여야만 국가가 책임을 진다는 것에는 의문이 있을 수 있다. 또한 헌법에 합치되는 자기책임설의 이론에 의하게 되면 국가배상법상 과실책임주의는 배제되어야 한다. 국가배상법상 공무원의 배상책임과 관련하여 고의와 과실과 같은 주관적 책임요건은 필요하지 않다고 보아야 한다. 따라서 현행 국가배상법의 개정을 통하여서 국가배상법의 원리를 과실책임주의로부터 무과실책임주의로 전환하여야 할 필요성이 있다.

한국대표사상의 서비스철학성 고찰 (A Study on the Service Philosophy of Major Korean Ideology)

  • 본 연구는 서비스철학 정립을 위해 한국대표사상의 서비스철학성을 분석하였다. 기존 연구인 한국 고유사상의 서비스철학 정합성 연구에 이은 후속 연구로서, 한국 대표 사상인 불교사상과 유학사상의 서비스시대 철학으로서의 정합성을 고찰하였다. 서비스철학의 기본구조와 운용모델을 제시하고, 한국대표사상의 서비스철학성을 분석하였다. 신라시대부터 고려시대까지는 불교사상이 중심이었고, 조선시대는 유교사상이 중심이었으므로 고려시대까지의 불교와 조선시대의 유학 대표 사상가들을 중심으로 분석하였다. 서비스의 본질적 특성은 관계성, 쌍방향성, 수평성, 조화성인데 이를 반영한 서비스구조는 유무상생, 즉 제품과 서비스의 상생구조임을 제시하였다. 또한 서비스의 발전과 운용원리는 정반합의 기본 운용구조를 가지되 그 운용 사이클이 신속하고 발전지향적임을 밝혔다. 서비스철학의 구조와 운용에 대한 논의를 토대로, 한국대표사상의 서비스철학 부합성을 제시하였다. 신라시대 원효부터 고려시대 지눌까지 한국 불교사상의 정수가 서비스철학에 부합함을 제시하고, 퇴계와 율곡 다산 등에 이르기까지 한국 유학사상의 큰 흐름에서도 서비스철학과의 부합성이 발견됨을 보였다. 향후 서비스철학의 구조와 운용원리를 보다 구체화하고 큰 사상으로 발전시키기 위한 후속 연구들이 필요하며, 중국과 인도 철학을 중심으로 한 동양대표사상의 서비스철학 부합성과 그리스와 독일 철학을 중심으로 서양 대표사상의 서비스철학 부합성에 대한 후속 연구도 필요하다. 궁극적으로 세계 철학 사상의 공통 흐름으로서 서비스철학 정립과 바람직한 미래 경제사회 운용철학으로서의 서비스철학 정립이 필요하다.

현대의학과 환상통 - 이응준의 『약혼』을 중심으로 (Modern Medicine and Phantom Pain)

  • Modern medicine has early experienced the absence of mimesis and has been trying to replace the absence with objective grounds and experimental data. However, as medicine became science, the crisis of medicine spread more widely. Microscopic powers and violences are invisible, but individuals are powerless and vainly unable to resist. The anguish or introspection about the situation is sometimes described in stories such as An Engagement by Lee Eung Jun. An Engagement is mentioned in this article due to the writer's attitude, which shows his introspection and desire for harmony through the wounds of each trivial character. The writer is unceasingly talking about suffering people in his story and his seriousness enables readers to find his stronger sympathy over life and death than in any other medical stories. In fact, it is impossible for readers to comprehend the confusing propositions which the writer pours out, and even uncomfortable to read the story. Nevertheless, the propositions are always in contact with reality. Perhaps it is not the writer's confusing propositions that make us uncomfortable. It might be ourselves who are always alienated and starved. We can say that the characters' pains and wounds are phantom pains caused by the absence of mimesis. Since there is no affected area, their pains cannot be measured by only scientific medicine. However, the current medical profession regards objective research evidences as absolute truth and allows them to be the sole criterion. Although scientific skills such as DNA analysis and MRI scan can be the substitutes for doctors' judgment, so much of medicine is still interpersonal relationships. An Engagement. As a person promises to marry another, as all beings together in the world promise to subordinate to one another, every subject is consistently a valuable part of each other for the writer's eyes. He is aware that it is originally impossible to get engaged to the world, but he does not give up the possibility of genuine communication. In today's post-modernism society, where a large number of pathological views define the members and the world itself, endless questioning of existence and digging into pathology will be the only way to reduce the gap between individuals and their world. This article does not say that a literary work will lead the change of medical paradigm. It sprang from a desire for medical humanities to gain more interest of the medical field, where the encounter between literature and medicine is still unfamiliar, and to make medical education recognize the importance of humanities. Starting with this work, I believe that the humanities will help us to find the solution to the age of absence of mimesis and to the crisis of medicine.

티베트 복식의 색채 감성과 의미 탐색 (A Study on the Color Sensation and Symbolism of Tibet Costume)

  • 티베트 고원에서 살고 있는 티베트인 또는 장족은 오랜 역사와 자연환경에 순응한 자신만의 독특한 생활양식을 가지고 있어 독자적인 의복문화 형태를 지닌다. 복식 중에 색채, 문양, 도안의 사용에서 종교적인 의미를 나타낼 뿐 아니라, 복식을 통해 자신의 생활의 희망과 자연을 존중한 마음을 강하게 표현하고 있다. 티베트 민족 복식의 색채 상징성에 관한 고찰을 통하여 티베트족 문화의 특수성을 이해하고자 장족 복식에 사용된 색채를 분석하고 그들만의 색채의 의미를 고찰하였다. 장족의 색채인식, 상징성을 색의 사용 예시와 출현빈도를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 연구방법으로는 복식사진의 색채 수집 및 분석을 실시하였는데 I.R.I HUE-TONE 시스템에서 매칭 색상과 색조를 찾는 방식이었다. 장족 복식도서의 칼라사진과 청해 장족문화박물관의 장족 복식을 직접 촬영한 사진, 인터넷 박물관의 복식사진 등 총 96장의 사진이었다. 결과는 첫째, 세상을 구성한다고 생각하는 가장 주요한 요소를 5가지 색 장오색에 연결하여 각 색마다 자연적 의미를 부여하는데, 빨간색은 불, 파란색은 하늘, 흰색은 구름과 흰 눈, 초록색은 초원, 노란색은 대지를 각기 상징한다. 둘째, 홍과 녹, 흑과 백, 홍과 남, 황과 자색 등 강렬한 색채조화를 이루도록 대담한 색채를 사용하고 있는 것이 특징이다. 셋째, 티베트인들의 특유한 심미관을 표현하는데 색의 일반적인 감성을 대부분 따르지만 그들만의 감성이 들어있는 색상이 존재하였다.

지역이미지 활성을 위한 사운드 디자인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Sound Design to Improve Regional Image -Focused on the Jeonju Area-)

  • 최근 사운드 디자인은 기업에서 제품에서부터 마케팅, 웹에 이르기까지 기업이미지를 고려한 기억에 남을 만한 경험의 멜로디를 디자인하여 사용하고 있고, 생활환경이나 공공시설 등 여러 분야에서도 사운드가 각 분야의 아이덴티티 확립에 필요한 요소로 사용되고 있다. 지방자치단체시대를 맞이하여 각 지자체에서는 지역 활성화를 위한 지역 아이덴티티의 확립에 지역의 정체성 확보와 지역의 잠재력, 자원을 활용한 지역개발에 많은 관심을 기울이고 있다. 또한 도시이미지 제고를 위해 지역이미지통합사업(CIP) 등 적극적인 사업을 추진하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 일련의 사업들은 시각적인 측면에 치우치거나 인식의 부족으로 인하여 아이덴티티 구축에 한계가 있다. 소리의 고장인 전주에 소리에 관련된 축제와 대회가 많이 개최되고 있으나, 정작 소리에 대한 아이덴티티가 없는 상황이다. 따라서 전주만의 특색 있는 소리의 조건을 제시하고 이를 통해 지역이미지 활성화를 위한 아이덴티티 구축에 필요한 요소로서 활용될 수 있도록 자료를 제공하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 본 연구에서는 지역 의 소리 이미지를 찾기 위한 소리 샘플은 지역민이 가장 선호하는 자연의 소리 중 한국의 아름다운 소리100을 사용하였다. 이중 선호 샘플을 추출하여 각 샘플에 대한 형용사이미지를 설문을 통해 요인 분석을 하였다. 분석 결과 전주지역의 특색 있는 소리이미지 요인으로는 조화, 강약, 대비, 문화성을 고려한 밝고, 경쾌하며, 편안한 소리 이미지를 도출할 수 있었다. 이는 지역이미지 활성화를 위한 아이덴티티 구축에 필요한 요소로서 활용될 수 있도록 자료를 제공하는 데 있다.
