거주자 요구를 토대로 본 가변형 아파트의 서포트와 인필 시스템 (The Support and Infill System of the Flexible Plan of Multi-Family Housing Based on Inhabitants' Need)

  • The study suggests that to compensate for the variety of inhabitants, flexible housing plans are needed. Furthermore, it proposes the support and infill system for the flexible plan of multi-family housing based on the inhabitants need. The inhabitants' need for the flexible plan of multi-family housing was studied using a survey using models. The survey target was the 100 housewives living in a $126.6m^2$(sold as 45 Pyeong) Apartment in Busan. The characteristics of the respondents were first examined, then to figure out the attitude towards the need for the flexible plan of multi-family housing, the concept and preference for the plan, and the satisfaction level of the current apartment plan were analyzed. To find out the structure of the flexible plan of multi-family housing, the need for the structure, furniture, light, and finishing materials were studied. Lastly, to learn the durability of the construction material, the preferred moving period and the reasons were researched. On the basis of the findings, the support and infill system was suggested.

수도권 주부의 취업유무에 따른 가사작업수행과 코하우징 요구의 차이 (Housework Performance and Difference of Cohousing Need Depending on the Housewife's Employment Status in the Metropolitan area)

  • The purposed of this research was to suggest a basic material of Korean-typed cohousing plan for a dual-income family by examining the difference of cohousing residing environment needs. Selecting Employed and unemployed housewives as this research's subject, the following results were drawn from the analysis between the two groups. 1) The housewives takes responsibility of the household works regardless of whether or not they are employed. Also, more than half of employed housewives stated that the time of nursery facilities was shorter than their needs and that they favored a nursery facility located inside the residential area. 2) The most meaningful difference of cohousing residing environment needs was the demand for sharing household work in terms of cohousing need of the subjects. The desirable cohousing area is the suburbs of the metropolitan areas and the preferable resident organization is need to be organized by people sharing the same goal through an announcement. 3) The need of cohousing and residence intention were generally low, but the employed housewives' need was higher than the unemployed ones.

Need and Significance of STS Education at the University Level

  • The study purported to develop STS education course material at the university level in order to enhance science literacy and understanding of the relationships among science, technology and society. A developed STS course was provided to 265 freshmen and sophomore students, majoring in the Humanities and the Social Sciences, the Natural Sciences and Engineering, and Fine Arts. Students participated in the survey examining changes in students' attitudes toward and perspectives on STS before and after the implementation. Ten questionnaires were selected from VOSTS for the survey. One additional questionnaire asked the students to elaborate their opinions on the need for a STS education course. The responses to the survey were analyzed according to types of questions and students' majors. As result, the developed STS course significantly increased students' science literacy. Among the participants, 97.7% responded that there is a need for STS education and provided reasons for such need. These results imply that there is a definite need for a STS class at the university level. According to the analyses of responses, there were different responses depending on the students' major. These differences imply that the major, academic background, level of interest in science, and knowledge of science of the students affect their perceptions on identifying the need for a STS education course.

응급실 환자의 간호 요구도 및 만족도 분석 (A study of Nursing care need and the patient's satisfaction level of the nursing care in the emergency department)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to analyze the nursing care needs which can properly cope with patients' needs in emergency room, and grasp the patients' satisfaction level which can assess the care quality. It was aimed to check the level of today's care and provide basic data for care performance and care standard. Method : Data were collected from 192 patients in general hospitals in Daegu. The results are as followed. Results : First, the result of analysis conducted on the degree of overall patients' need for nursing care revealed that the need for nursing information (4.21+57) was the highest, followed by the order of information of patient's condition (4.05+53), emotional support (3.98+47), and nursing participation (3.65+54). Secondly, our study revealed that there was a significant negative correlat interrelation between care need and care satisfaction (r=.516, p<.01), indicating the higher the overall emergency room patients' nursing care need, treatment and nursing information, patient's condition, emotional support and nursing participation were, the lower the actual feeling of their satisfaction turned out. Conclusion : The study shows that treatment and nursing related information is the most highly needed and the patients' satisfaction level relies on actual care participation.

A Comparative Study of the Effects of Consumer Innovativeness, Self-esteem, and Need for Cognition on Online Activity before and after COVID-19

  • This study tried to identify factors affecting online activity before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. To this end, the effects of consumer innovativeness, self-esteem, and need for cognition on the activity of online media such as Internet and social media were investigated, and whether privacy concerns had a moderating effect. For this study, survey data from 2019(before the outbreak of COVID-19) to 2021(after the outbreak of COVID-19) of the 'Korea Media Panel Survey' surveyed by the Korea Information Society Development Institute was used for analysis. The research results that affect Internet activity are as follows. Before the outback of COVID-19, it was found that hedonic innovativeness and social innovativeness had a positive effect and cognitive innovativeness had a negative effect on increasing Internet activity. There was no moderating effect on privacy concerns. The period after the outbreak of COVID-19, need for cognition was found to have a positive effect on increasing social media activity. In addition, the moderating effect of privacy concerns was found in the relationship between need for cognition and Internet activity. There was no privacy concern effect before the outbreak of COVID-19, and the privacy concern effect appeared on functional innovation and need for cognition after the outbreak of COVID-19. This study aims to present various implications for companies to understand the characteristics of online consumers using the Internet and social media after the pandemic.

  • The objective of this study is on evaluation process of resort hotel management strategy. Therefore, in this study, we find try to a successful implemantation of resort hotel feasibility study and management strategy by systematizing and materialinzing the theory of resort hotel. And we have also investigated and analyzed the real status of resort hotel and then worked out the problem, and estabilished a plan for feasibility determination of resort hotel, he results of this study are as follow: 1) We need to characterize, matenance, develop the benefits of resort hotel. 2) We need to know how to establish model and facilities of resort hotel. 3) We have to inclease quality and quantity of employee's service. 4) We need to effort to satisfy customer's needs and wants through improvising and enlarging facilities of resort hotel. 5) We need to specialize the quality of F & B division. 6) We need to improve the hotel image, promote sales through promotion tools like avertisement, publicity, personel selling, sales promotion.

평생교육실습 프로그램의 운영실태 및 평생교육사 직무모델에 기반한 요구도 분석 (Survey of Lifelong Education Field Training Programs and Need Assessment Based on Job Model)

  • This study was designed to analyze the present condition of the lifelong education field training program and to implement the need assessment of field training program based on the job model application. In order to achieve these goals, surveys were conducted through questionnaires and in-depth interviews targeting staffs of lifelong education institution in Busan area. The 115 subjects were analyzed by frequency distribution, the paired samples t-test, and the Borich's need analysis. The result showed that the field training program was poorly executed during the year of 2013 due to deficiency of certified practitioners and systematic guidelines. Also, the most highly demanded tasks were promoting change, networking, planning, developing programs and conducting surveys among various roles of lifelong educators. On the other hand, the need for the assisting and supporting programs were relatively low. Finally, this study concluded the need for developing systematic guidelines and for accrediting as a lifelong education field training institution nationwide. The results of this study would ultimately contribute to enhance the quality of lifelong education field training program.

농촌지역의 의료요구와 의료공급에 관한 연구 (Need for and Supply of Primary Care in Rural Areas)

  • Health policy is directed to equity in the provision of primary care for rural people before the year of 2, 000. This study aimed to define and identify the need for physician's care by using empirical data, and suggested an alternative of the primary care delivery system in rural areas to the government. 1. Twenty percent of the study population wanted to obtain any form of medical care services. : 9.3 percent of the population was in need for physician's care; 15 percent of the need was met by physicians, while 85 percent remained unmet at the time of survey in 1979. 2. For meeting all the need for physician's primary care, 2.9 annual physician visits per capita are demanded. An alternative, which was devised in some favourable way at reasonable cost in rural settings, was suggested. It was to deploy the physician extender such as community health practitioner in the infrastructure of the health care delivery system, whose supervision is provided by physician, based on experience of the KHDI health demonstration project. 3. One physician, two community health practitioners and two community health aides should be assigned in distant locations for meeting all the estimated need for physician's primary care for 10, 000 rural underserved residents.

입원아동어머니의 질병에 대한 불확실성의 인지와 간호요구 (A Study on Mother's Perception of Uncertainty and Nursing Need Concerning Child's Hospitalization)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide fundamental data in ensuring a high quality of nursing needed by hospitalized child's mother through research of the mother's perception of uncertainty and nursing need concerning child's hospitalization. Method: 173 hospitalized child's mothers at G hospital in Busan are questioned. The tools used in this study are PPUS(Parent's Perception of Uncertainty Scale) and the nursing need of hospitalized children's mother. The data was analyzed by SPSS/PC program. Results: 1) The perception of total uncertainty for the hospitalized child's mother showed average 2.37 and the nursing need showed very high level, 3.37. 2) The perception of uncertainty in accordance with general character of the hospitalized child's mother shows non significant difference 3) Significant correlation indicated between the perception of uncertainty of hospitalized children's mother and nursing need. Conclusion: It is to be desired to prepare a program which can raise the level of perception developing a method that is able to practically assess and manage the level of perception of hospitalized children's mother.

광고유형, 브랜드 전형성, 인지욕구가 광고태도에 미치는 영향 - 아웃도어 의류 브랜드를 중심으로 - (The Effect of Advertisement Type, Brand Typicality and Need for Cognition on Attitude toward Advertisement Intention - Focused on Outdoor Apparel Brands -)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of comparative advertisement brand typicality and need for recognition in outdoor apparel market. This study was created with a mixed factorial design of 2 (Advertisement types: Comparative advertisement vs. General advertisement) X 2(Brand Typicality: High Brand vs. Low Brand) X 2 (Need for Cognition: High vs. Low). The results of this study are as follows: First, it was shown that comparative advertisement had a greater positive influence on attitudes toward advertising intentions in comparison to general advertisements. Second, while comparative advertisement was more effective than general advertisement for outdoor apparel brands with low typicality. Third, consumers with higher need for cognition showed a preferred attitude toward advertising intention when met with comparative advertising in contrast to general advertisement. Fourth, when consumers with higher needs for cognition were exposed to advertisement for brands of lower typicality, there was higher positive influence on the attitudes toward advertisement intention with comparative advertisement in comparison to general advertisement. This means the comparative advertisement may be effective for the new garment brand or the garment brands having low typicality to secure the cognition quickly from the consumers having high need for cognition.
