플립드 러닝과 마인드 원더링이 아이디어 창출에 미치는 영향: SIT와 BCC의 활용을 중심으로 (The Effects of Flipped Learning and Mind-Wandering on Idea Generation: Focusing on the use of SIT & BCC)

  • It is examined that how flipped learning and mind-wandering affect an idea generation task. For the purpose, the participants in the idea generation task are divided into two groups to learn SIT(Systematic Inventive Thinking) and BCC(Business Creativity Codes) as idea generating tools in advance. One group learned the tools in a classroom, and the other group through an online education program. The creativity level of an idea is evaluated in the dimensions of originality, practicality, and realizability. The creativity levels of the ideas from the two groups are not statistically different in all the three creativity dimensions. To examine the effect of mind-wandering, another group generated ideas two hours a day in four days instead of eight hours in one day. The creativity levels of the ideas from the third group are higher in the dimensions of originality and practicality. This shows that the effectiveness of flipped learning is not so different from the face-to-face learning in a classroom, and mind-wandering has a positive effect in the learning.

마인드 맵 활용이 자연과 학업성취도와 과학적 태도에 미치는 영향 -초등학교 5학년을 중심으로- (The Effects of Mind Map Activity on Scientific Attitude and Science Achievement in Elementary School Science -5th Grade Elementary School Science -)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of mind map activity on scientific attitude and science achievement in elementary school science. The subjects of this study were fifth-grade students selected from two classes in elementary school located in Seoul. The subjects were classified into two groups: One group is composed of thirty-eight students(experimental group) who were participated in mind map activity, and the other is composed of thirty-five students(control group) who were participated in traditional teaching situation. Pretest showed that there were no significant differences between experimental and control group in scientific attitude and science achievement. The results were as follows: First, the experimental group showed a significant improvement in the post-test science achievement compared to the control group. Second, the experimental group showed insignificant improvement in the post-test scientific attitude compared to the control group. Third, female students and mid-ranking group showed a significant improvement in the post-test science achievement. Fourth, in sex and academic ranking, experimental group did not show significant difference in the post-test scientific attitude. In conclusion, mind map activity was more effective than traditional teaching situation on science achievement. But mind map activity was less uneffective than traditional teaching situation on scientific attitude.

과도기적 위치의 워즈워스: 정신과 자연의 상호 작용 모색 (Wordsworth of Transitional Position : Seeking Interaction between Mind and Nature)

  • This study focuses upon the fact that Wordsworth has a great interest in the epistemological understanding of nature. It denies that his early poems, such as An Evening Walk and Descriptive Sketches, only represent the subtleties of nature, according to the picturesque mode of the eighteenth century, without any other consideration about human mind. It tries to trace his effort to deal with the relationship between nature and mind, which is committed to the apprehension of Wordsworth's experience which shapes much of his later work. Prior to Wordsworth, or in his earlier days, both the picturesque description and the descriptive poetry tend to be two-dimensional. Staying away from the cold rules of painting and overcoming passivity, he prefers to contemplate nature through his emotions and tries to come close to the sublime sense. Therefore, his poetic strategy is to show that his poetic description of nature goes beyond the limits which these picturesque rules and colors impose. His readers get the feeling of how desperate he become trying to choose the suitable poetic language to express the relationship between nature and mind. He also has an interest in developing a character, Dorothy, to match what he thinks and to mediate what he intends to describe through his epistemological understanding of nature.

2006년 지역거점공공병원직원 혁신 및 서비스촉진 교육 효과 분석 (2006 Analysis of Education for Innovation of Regional Public Hospital Employees and Service Promotion)

  • In recent years, many of medical institution have reinforced educations for their employees aiming to secure competitiveness and to achieve higher performances. In an effort to actively response to the fast changing environment in the medical industry, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has implemented "Innovation and Service promotion" educations for employees of 34 regional medical institutions and 6 Red Cross hospitals. In this regards, the effect of the educations to change employees' mind for innovation and services and its results need to be evaluated. This study conducted surveys asking participants of the 2006 Education for Innovation of Regional Public Hospital Employees and Service Promotion and synthetically analyzes the effect of the education on their mind for services compare to their mind before the education. As a result, more them 92% of participants say that they are satisfied with the education, and many more participants agreed the effect of the education to change their mind for services. Under this circumstance, after the educations participants change more positively on "their mind for innovative services" and "their service skills in practice".

Body-Mind Unity as a Dominant Design Philosophy of Traditional Japanese Tea-House

  • Despite a current fascination with East Asian iconography such as Zen Style among contemporary designers, there is a lack of genuine cross-cultural discourse that could enable us to share essential design experiences. To bring the discussion a deeper level, traditional Japanese tea-house in its design philosophy of body-mind interplay is explored. Tea-house is a superb manifestation to reveal a holistic understanding of the world. Nondualistic realization is generally associated with the dominant tendency of traditional East Asian philosophy, namely the view that the self and environment, and that the mind and the body exist in unity. The essence of tea-house is not in its poetic style or meticulous details, but in its unmistakably monistic approach of creating inseparable form, function and meaning. Tea-house bestows dignity upon restraint, imperfection, discomfort, poverty, and even humility. This concept offers a tremendous insight since it implies that the rational and effective design solution to the greatest degree is not sufficient. Perhaps the most challenging question about tea-house is: How does our experience with human-made 'design' in the broadest sense help both our body and mind attain a full harmony of being? It is the heading which this research inquires.

유아의 마음이론, 사회적 능력, 그리고 정서 지능 간의 관련성 연구 (Study on the Relationship Among Children's Theory of Mind, Social Competence, and Emotional Intelligence)

  • 본 연구는 유아의 마음이론, 사회적 능력, 그리고 정서지능 간의 관련성을 살펴보았다. 만 5세 유아 남녀 각각 38명 씩, 총 76명을 대상으로 내용교체과제, 위치이동과제, 그리고 틀린 믿음과 제로 마음이론을 측정하였으며, 그들의 교사들에게 이들의 사회적 능력과 정서지능을 측정하도록 하였다. SPSS 18을 사용하여, 성별 차이를 보기 위해서는 t 검증을 사용하였으며, 유아의 마음이론, 사회적 능력, 정서지능 간의 관계를 알아보기 위해 피어슨 적률상관관계분석을 실시하였다. 유아의 사회적 능력에 영향을 주는 성차, 마음이론, 정서 지능의 상대적 영향력을 살펴보기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 우선, 성별에 따라 마음이론 전체점수와 위치이동과제에서 차이가 나타났고, 사회적 능력의 전체점수와 협조성, 참여성, 순응성, 지도성에서 차이가 났고, 정서지능의 자기조절, 타인인식, 타인조절에서 차이가 났다. 또한 마음이론 전체 점수와 사회적 능력은 전반적으로 관련이 있었으나, 참여성과 순응성에서는 관련이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 마음이론 전체 점수와 정서지능은 전반적으로 관련이 있었고, 사회적 능력과 정서지능도 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 유아들의 사회적 능력에 영향을 주는 상대적인 영향력을 살펴보았을 때, 타인조절 능력이 사회적 능력에 가장 영향력을 미쳤다.

E-MIND II를 이용한 고립 단어 인식 시스템의 설계 (Isolated Word Recognition with the E-MIND II Neurocomputer)

  • This paper introduces an isolated word recognition system realized on a neurocomputer called E-MIND II, which is a 2-D torus wavefront array processor consisting of 256 DNP IIs. The DNP II is an all digital VLSI unit processor for the EMIND II featuring the emulation capability of more than thousands of neurons, the 40 MHz clock speed, and the on-chip learning. Built by these PEs in 2-D toroidal mesh architecture, the E- MIND II can be accelerated over 2 Gcps computation speed. In this light, the advantages of the E-MIND II in its capability of computing speed, scalability, computer interface, and learning are especially suitable for real time application such as speech recognition. We show how to map a TDNN structure on this array and how to code the learning and recognition algorithms for a user independent isolated word recognition. Through hardware simulation, we show that recognition rate of this system is about 97% for 30 command words for a robot control.

외상 후 병리에서 성장으로: 외상 후 성장 시계 (From Trauma To growth: Posttraumatic Growth Clock)

  • 인간 정신은 외상 자극에 역동적으로 반응하여 다차원적 위계를 따라 진화적으로 발전하는 시스템이다. 평형상태에서 일원화되어 있는 정신 내에 외상 자극이 유입되면 그에 반대 쌍이 되는 반응 극성이 형성되어 이원화된다. 그 반대 쌍 사이에 초월적 상호작용이 일어나면 상위 차원에 제3의 극성이 출현하게 되어 정신은 삼위구조로 변형된다. 삼위 구조화된 정신에서는 비평형 상태가 극대화되어 가소성이 최대화됨에 따라 삼위 요인이 같은 기능을 하게 되는 동기화가 가능해지며 이로 인해 정신은 상위차원에서 다시 일원화된다. 만약 정신이 또 다시 새로운 자극을 받아들이게 되면 정신은 위의 위계적 변형과정을 따라 성장하게 된다. 이를 정신의 기본삼위체계의 동기화를 통한 순환적 성장과정이라 한다. 이번 이론 연구에서는 이 개념을 외상 후 성장 과정에 적용하여 외상 후 성장 시계를 제안하였다. 외상 후 성장 시계는 7개의 위계적 단계로 구성되어있으며 처음 6개의 단계들은 충격 대 마비, 공포 대 침습, 편집 대 회피, 강박 대 폭발, 불안 대 우울, 허무 대 의미추구 단계 등의 12분기로 구성되어 있고 마지막 7번째 단계에서는 이들 모든 단계들의 기능들이 동기화되는 거대 동기화 단계가 나타나게 된다. 거대 동기화 단계에서는 이전의 6 단계들로 구성된 개인 내의 생리-사회-실존 차원들 뿐 아니라 자아와 타아도 동기화를 통해 일원화됨으로써 자신의 외상경험 뿐 아니라 타인의 고통도 자신의 실제적 외상경험으로 작용하게 되어 정신은 상위 차원에서 또 다른 성장과정을 반복한다. 이 논문에서 제안된 외상 후 성장 시계의 변형과정에 대한 타당성을 Horowitz의 외상반응과정과 비교하여 논의하였다.

"관자(管子)" 4편(編)의 심(心)의 의미에 대한 연구(硏究) (A Study on The Meaning of Mind(心) in The Four chapters of "Gwanja(管子)")

  • The four chapters of "Gwanja(管子)" explains the concepts of Do(道), Deok(德), Junggi(精氣) philosophically. Because it contains thoughts about control of Mind(心), it has been considered as one of the useful references of ancient chinese philosophy. In this respect, we can think about the connections between the four chapters of "Gwanja(管子)" and Oriental medicine in philosophical perspectives. In the investigating about Oriental medical philosophy in this study, the meaning of mind(心) is classified from various angles, for example, political, self-improvemental, and physiological. Espesially the physiological meaning of mind(心) may receive attention and meaningful consideration of Oriental medicine.

The Relationship between Information Mind and Academic Performance in University Students

  • 본 논문에서는 대학생들이 정보화마인드가 충족되었을 때 학업성과가 향상되는지를 검토하여 대학의 정보화 교육에 합리적인 방안을 제안한다. 특히 체육계열과 일반계열 학생들 간의 비교를 통해 향후 대학에서의 정보화 교육 전략 마련에 실증적으로 도움을 주고자 하였다. 분석 결과, 전공 계열별로 일부 차이는 있었으나, 전반적으로 정보화마인드(정보화기술 필요성 인식, 정보화 개념 이해 및 활용, 정보화 리스크 인식)는 전공융합능력과 팀워크 및 자기주도학습능력, 학업성적을 향상시키는 요인으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 대학생들의 정보화마인드를 향상시키기 위해서는 정보화에 대한 필요성을 인식시키고 전공 특성에 맞는 교육과정과 프로그램을 도입하여 실행해야 함을 시사한다.
