예술작품을 통해 나타난 패션의 하이퍼리얼리티 연구 (A Study on Hyper-Reality of Fashion by Work of Art)

  • The rapid growth and influence of digital technologies have had a profound effect on modern society. Companies and businesses can connect through SNS(social network service accounts). The importance of mass media empowers the creation of virtual images that are more realistic than time and space. Unlike traditional reproduction or imitation, the virtual images created in this way are reproduced in a form that lacks the original inspiration's essence. Jean Baudrillard described this phenomenon as the theory of simulation. Baudrillard argued that imitated simulated images replace reality. He stated that reality is lost under excessive images in modern society. In response, based on an understanding of the theory of hyper-reality that emerged through the late stages of the order of simulacre, this study aimed to analyze modern fashion's method of reproducing hyper-real images and investigate the method's characteristics. This study examined the characteristics of hyper-reality described by Baudrillard and analyzed the method of artistic expression of hyper-reality. Based on this method of expression, reproducibility, following the stages of image simulation, was derived. A specific case applied to fashion was analyzed, and based on the image reproduction method, specific characteristics of hyper-reality characteristics in fashion were obtained. Sixty-four collections were selected, out of which 155 images and 43 brands demonstrated the principles of image transformation.

경어뢰의 정특성 허용오차 산정 (An Evaluation of the Tolerance of the Static Characteristics for Light Weight Torpedoes)

  • Static Characteristics of the system, such as weight, center of gravity etc., are inspected and regulated through the whole design process of a light weight torpedo system, and the nominal condition of the characteristics is prescribed for standardization of manufacturing and fabrication. It is possible that a real system or assembled system has different static characteristics from that of the nominal condition. It is required to evaluate the tolerance of the static characteristics within which the performance of the system should not be contaminated by the static characteristics. In this paper, an evaluation method of the tolerance is described for light weight torpedo systems. The method is to check on the performance and related critical parameters of light weight torpedoes. The checking items are composed of general conditions of underwater mobile systems such as stability and dynamic sensitivity and specified performance requirements for light weight torpedoes.

커플링보의 주기거동특성 및 에너지소산능력 (Behavioral Characteristics and Energy Dissipation Capacity of Coupling Beams Subject to Cyclic Loads)

  • Coupling beams subject to cyclic loads exhibit different behavioral characteristics and energy dissipation capacity varying with re-bar layouts. In the present study, nonlinear analysis method was developed using analogous truss model. Using the numerical method, parametric studies were performed to investigate the behavioral characteristics and the energy dissipation mechanism of coupling beams with various re-bar layouts subject to cyclic loading. Based on the investigation, a simple and practical method for evaluating the energy dissipation capacity of coupling beams was developed and verified by experiments. The proposed method accurately predicted the dissipated energy during cyclic loading addressing design parameters such as re-bar layouts, re-bar ratio, and deformation. The proposed method can be easily applied to nonlinear static and dynamic methods for seismic analysis and design.

  • Quality variations in mixture products such as medicine, food, engineering chemicals, and alloy materials can be caused by their own sub-components. For instance, discharging characteristics of a lithium-ion rechargeable battery depend upon the mixture ratio of ethylene, dimethyle, and ethyle-methyle, all of which consists an electrolyte solution in the battery. Thus it is important to determine tolerances of mixture components in maintaining the product quality at a desired level. This paper proposes a simple but efficient approach to a mixture tolerancing method with multi-response variables. We use a response surface method for empirical modelling between mixture components. An illustrative example of the proposed method is given.

Monte Carlo Simulation of MR Damper Landing Gear Taxiing Mode under Nonstationary Random Excitation

  • When an aircraft is taxiing, excitation force is applied according to the shape of the road surface. The sprung mass acceleration caused by the excitation of the road surface negatively affects the feeling of boarding. This paper addresses the verification process of the semi-active control method applied to improve the feeling of boarding. The Magneto-Rheological damper landing gear model is employed alongside the control method. It is a Oleo-Pneumatic damper filled with a fluid having the characteristics of increasing yield stress when subjected to a magnetic field. The control method involves verifying Skyhook Control Type2 developed by Skyhook control. The Sinozuka white noise model that considers runway characteristics was employed for the road surface in the simulation. The runway road surface obtained through this model has stochastic characteristics, so the dynamic characteristics were analyzed by applying Monte-Carlo simulation. A dynamic analysis was conducted by co-simulating the landing gear model made by RecurDyn and the control method designed by Simulink. Simulation results show that the Skyhook Control Type2 method has the best control effect in the low speed range compared to the passive type (without control) and skyhook control.

실측조사방법을 통한 교수연구실 사용실태분석 및 유형화 (Space Use Characteristics and Categorization of University Professo's Office Identified through Physical Trace Method)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify and categorize the space use characteristics of the university professor's office. The data were recorded and collected through the physical trace method. Acture Measurement. Photograph, sketch and CAD drawings were used to trace 118 professors offices at Yonse-University. The analysed features were the user characteristics, the size, characteristics of space (such as composition, layout and furniture arrangement), the appliance and the instrument characteristics. To categorize the 'space use' characteristics. 6 variables were used: 1) the territorial characteristics, 2) the spatial relationship between professor's territory and entrance, 3) the layout type of work area, 4) the spatial relationship between professor's and assistant's work area, 5) the arrangement of table, and 6) the completion of sofa set. The results of this study are expected to be used as a basis for the development of design alternatives for the most typical university professors' office.

  • To study the variation of charging efficiency in the engine intake, the method to change the natural frequency of intake system using the intake control valve was studied and it has been used in actual engine to increase the intake air. In this paper, the method of characteristics was used to analyze the non-steady state and compared with the experimental data of the 6-cylinder diesel engine showing the effectiveness of the method theoretically.

차량 주행소음을 고려한 자동차 오디오 음질 개선 및 주관적 음질평가 연구 (A Study on the Car Audio Sound Quality Enhancement under Vehicle Noise and Its Subjective Evaluation)

  • 본 연구에서는 차 실내의 공간 음향특성으로 인한 음향왜곡과 주행소음으로 인한 오디오 음질 저하를 동시에 개선하기 위한 디지털 필터를 설계하여 음질을 개선하는 방법을 제안하였다. 라우드스피커의 입력에 적용할 디지털 필터는 차량 주행 소음 특성과 차 실내의 음향특성을 고려하여 설계하였다. 차량소음 분석은 주파수 옥타브 밴드 분석법을 이용한 객관적인 분석과 감성적 분석법인 NCB 곡선법을 사용했다. 그 결과를 이용하여 오디오 유니트의 11밴드 디지털 필터 보정치를 구하는데 사용하였다. 최적 음질 구현을 위해 7가지 형태의 디지털 필터를 설계하여 기준 음악원에 적용하여 음악원 샘플을 얻었고, 여기에 100km 차량 주행소음을 합성한 9가지의 음악원 샘플을 제작하였다. 64명의 평가자를 대상으로 Scheffe'가 제안한 7점 주관 평가법을 사용하여 9가지 음악원 샘플에서 최적음질을 나타내는 디지털 필터를 선택하였다.

Natural vibration analysis of coaxial shells coupled with fluid

  • Investigated in this study are the natural vibration characteristics of the coaxial cylindrical shells coupled with a fluid. Theoretical method is developed to find the natural frequencies of the shell using the finite Fourier series expansion, and their results are compared with those of finite element method to verify the validation of the method developed. The effect of the fluid-filled annulus and the boundary conditions on the modal characteristics of the coaxial shells is investigated using a finite element modeling.

섹터해석법을 이용한 타이어의 동특성 해석 (Dynamic Analysis of the Tire by Sector Method)

  • This paper presents free vibration analysis method using the characteristics of the rotationally periodic structures and includes the analysis results of a tire as an example. The normal modes of the rotationally periodic structures are the kind of standing waves, so all sectors have the same deflection shapes, and only different phases. This property makes it possible to derive the analysis method called sector method. The sector method can give the accurate natural frequencies and the corresponding mode shapes of the rotationally periodic structure with information of only one sector. When the free vibration analysis is performed to find the dynamic characteristics of the rotationally periodic structure by using the sector method, the computer memory spaces and the CPU times can be saved. We obtained much economic benefits by using the sector method in the analysis of dynamic characteristics of a tire made of non-linear materials.
