Many ideas which have appear in human history ought to be fruits of the relevant time, however they sometimes reveal new meaning. Daesoon idea is like that, and anarchism also has been resurgent today according to the demand of the time. Both ideas aim at an ideal society. They are not codes of conduct by specific ideology, but are the spirit of resistance against all kinds of oppression, i.e. which began from human nature. Anarchism refuses intellectual revolution theory or idea, but it wants only the life of human nature. Therefore, in spite of the diversity of its historic type, anarchism is in the same discussion as idealism e.g. religion, politics, etc. which have seek the essence of human life. Daesoon idea, as well, begins from religious idealism, it kindles the same discussion as anarchism. Particularly, anarchism is receiving attention with its spirituality of the new century. A comparison between Daesoon idea and anarchism is mainly a conversation about the ideology of ideal society. The researcher intended to investigate the viewpoint of anarchism in terms of comparing its personality, society and nation with Daesun idea, though it was not easy work since the ideological genealogy of anarchism is various. Both of them have a mental attitude, i.e. 'essential resistance', on the basis of such introspection. The spirit of resistance is an essence of man and the right of resistance is a basic human rights that insist the dignity of man. When the right of resistance reaches the essence of human life, it becomes an ideal thought and religion. This paper examines the service ideal preached by Bruce Barton, a bestselling American author in the 1920s. Based on archival sources and other historical materials, this paper presents Barton's endorsement of service ideal less as an adaptation to the looming consumerist society than an endeavor to revive the old producer ethos that was more coercive than therapeutic. Revisiting Barton's messages to Americans, this paper traces the intellectual root of Barton's service ideal to the Social Gospel and illustrates the ways his producer ethos evolved into a commonplace ideology of Christian meritocracy that endorsed individualism and small government.
Education is a key element in shaping the worldview of the next generation and determines society's core values, ideology, and basic understanding of human rights. While Kyrgyzstan is a secular state, Islamic education, backed by Arab and Turkish sponsors, continues to increase in popularity with the construction of thousands of mosques and dozens of new Islamic educational institutions. Young women have become an important target for Islamic ideology and Islamic educational institutions seek to introduce a new type of ideal woman who is obedient, submissive, and modest. This research uses curricula content analysis, participant observation, and in-depth interviews with teachers and students to examine the effects of newly introduced Islamic education institutions and concludes that the schools are succeeding in training female Kyrgyz students for sheltered lives of dependency, threatening to fundamentally erode women's rights in the country. Two tasks thus demand the attention of policymakers: preserving Kyrgyzstan's secular state and introducing new interpretations of the Quran, which strengthen support for women's rights among believers.

This study considers service philosophy of Western representative ideology to establish service philosophy following previous studies. The service philosophy is analyzed by referring to previous researches, and the structure and operation model of service philosophy are presented together. In the analysis of the Western representative thought by the age, the ancient Mediterranean philosophy and the Athenian philosophy were analyzed in detail from the viewpoint of the service structure, and the modern thoughts were analyzed from the perspective of the service operation model consistency. We analyze whether the intangibility and process characteristics of service are consistent with the world view of Western representative ideology and analyzed whether the essential characteristics of service, such as relationship, interactivity, horizontality, and harmony, are emphasized in Western representative ideology. Also, we examined whether the spiral development model of service matches the world development model in Western representative ideology. From the ancient thought to the modern thought, mainstream thoughts emphasize the dialectical development of the conflicts, and the Taegeuk - type basic structure of service is consistent with the world 's operating structure in Western thought. In addition, it is shown that circular reasoning and process theory are central idea from ancient times to modern thought, and process theory is consistent with service operation model which creates value. Relationality and harmoniousness are presented by the majority of Western thinkers as the fundamental operating principle of the world, and both the interactive and horizontal aspects are presented as ideal operating models of the world. It is confirmed that the service philosophy can play a central role as the ideology that leads the human society.
The purpose of this study is to comprehensively re-interpret the garments that emphasize a phallus such as codpiece throughout history. Perspective to understand the codpiece is extremely limited in most studies, thus it could be refocused in historical perspectives, formative point of views, and from a psychological point of view from various angles. A literature study of research methods and case studies were combined in order to investigate the emphasis of phallus' appearing in costumes. The following results were obtained. First of all, in length, the form of emphasizing a phallus tended to be distorted as it was protruding. Secondly, in area and volume, the forms of the phallus were mostly exaggerated or expanded. For the last, it drew strong attention with particular detail to the phallus, such as ribbons and swordbelts. The symbolic meaning of various garments with which emphasized a phallus has changed in social context through history. Doubtlessly, it represents patriarchal ideology. Also, it expresses dramatic eroticism due to the theory of immodesty. However, the meaning of it becomes more decentralized through reinterpretation of ideal male suits for modern society and turns into a representational tool of sub-culture. In addition, it could broaden out the new way of fashion expression.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the various signs seen on TV commercials for school uniforms since year 2000, thus uncovering the connotative meanings in them. For this study, the semiotic approach has been used. The signs seen on the TV commercials are separated into linguistic and visual signs. They are found to have symbolic connotations. The results are as follows: First, there are plenty of signs expressing the sense of belonging to the student group and sense of conformity to his or her peer group. They are intended to garner their collective identity in the peer group of teenagers. Second, the TV commercials express the self that is realizing one's value dynamically. The frequent designation of 'I', 'me' and 'myself' represents that I am at the center of the world. Furthermore, the suggestion of diverse student roles beyond mere academic pursuits symbolically shows the ideal self that most teenagers wish to have. Third, the TV commercials implied a commercial ideology. That is expressed in the emphasis on aesthetic value that teenagers can realize their self only by consuming expensive school uniform brands. Forth, there are many signs related to appearance and appearance care. They are expressed with very specific signs such as 3 : 7 proportion, long legs, small face, and so on. Repeating or emphasizing the importance of looks and a certain brand name as the tool to accomplish better looks indicates that it contains the ideology of appearance management.
The crisis of moral-ethical school subject is related to the scientific identity of moral education in Korean society. Because it's identity hasn't been established yet exactly. At past time 'National Ethics' included not only moral education, but also anti-Communist education and education of political ideology or propaganda. The scientific foundation of ethical education is on ethics, and it is a branch of philosophy. Philosophy as scientific origin of ethics has already not interdisciplinary character but the idea of integrated science. So there is no necessity for finding another scientific foundation. Now following the original goal of ethical education, they try to train the ability of moral judgement to solve various moral problems rationally, and to cultivate moral disposition that can practice the ideal and principles of life.

Under the premise that parks have been a performing field of welfare ideology that benefits the citizen from the past, the present study began with a basic question on what substance a park has and how it has worked. Therefore, this study tried to find out the theoretic background that can explain the roles of a park as an instrument for welfare, of which topic is currently being discussed, and examine how the ideology in the debate regarding welfare characteristics of parks are differentiated from those of social welfare. In addition, this study divided the process of development of parks defined by Galen Cranz in an attempt to view how welfare benefits offered by parks have changed in their development and looked into the roles and types of welfare functions that parks provided to the citizens under a certain social situation by period. Furthermore, the characteristics and development of the ideology underlying a welfare park were examined by function and element in its progression. The results of this study are as follows. The functions that parks have performed so far can be classified into three categories. First, they have a remedial function. Parks have given direct services to 'the socially disadvantaged' such as relief, fostering, and rehabilitation. Second, parks have played a preventive function. They aim to reinforce the functions of individual, family, group, and community. Third, they have exerted a developmental function. They function to promote change of society in a way for it to contribute to social development. Looking into the roles and functions of parks from the perspective of their beneficiary class and benefits, the following were discovered. First, the beneficiaries of welfare characteristics in parks have expanded to the general public from the poor class, and the benefits of parks have spread into the public including the underprivileged in a real sense. Second, the significance of welfare characteristics in parks has also changed from literal benefits to caring for basic human rights. Third, the purpose of welfare characteristics in parks has changed from providing minimal conditions to optimal conditions. At its beginning, the ideology of welfare in parks remained ideal, confining itself to their idealistic characteristics; but as time went on, they created several social benefits in response to various social demands, developing into a field where welfare ideology manifests and is realized in an active manner. Furthermore, it was witnessed that the parks and welfare of the present times are standing at the point of contact for participation and universal well-being. The present study reconsidered the meaning and value of parks from perspective of them as a provider of welfare benefits as well as examined how the welfare ideology of parks is connected to practice. By doing so, this study discovered the various roles, values, and ideology that parks should bear in the future. Therefore, this study is expected to be a good example for future research related to the topic.
