A Study on the Electroviscous(EV) Fluid Squeeze Film Damper(SFD) Bearing of the Truncated Cone Type (절단 원추형 전기점성 SFD 베어링 연구)

  • Equivalent Reynolds equation of truncated cone type SFD bearing using nonnewtonian EV fluid is derived. The 3 nondimensional oil film pressures and its forces are obtained with axial and circumferential pressure gradient of bearing respectively, and dynamic characteristics for the stability of rotor-bearing system are obtaind through the governing equation for an elastic rotational shaft. It is shown that EV fluid is less sensitive to the changes of oil-film than newtonian fluids for dynamic characteristics. Therefore, results show that it is better to use an EV fluid with truncated cone type SFD bearing for the vibration control of rotational machines.

  • Rapid advances in telecommunication make emergency telemedicine possible that specialist offers medical care to an emergency case in moving vehicle. Although there were many telemedicine projects delivering the image or video of patient over several wireless networks, none of them considered effective solutions for optimizing video transmission over error-prone environments, such like wireless links. To alleviate the effect of channel errors on compressed video bit-stream, this paper analyzed the error resilient features of MPEG-4 standard and measured the quality of transmitted MPEG-4 encoded video over commercially available CDMA2000 1xEV-DO networks, transmitting different IP packet sizes and RM positions. we propose an error resilient transmission methods for emergency telemedicine over real 3G network.

  • 최근 녹색성장과 함께 전기자동차에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라 전기자동차 Relay 용 Solenoid Actuator에 대한 관심 또한 높아지고 있다. DC Solenoid Actuator는 Electric Vehicle relay(EV-Relay)의 동작을 담당하므로, EV-Relay의 핵심 부분이라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 등가자기회로법을 통해 EV-Relay가 동작하기 위한 DC Solenoid Actuator를 설계하였다.

  • 본 논문은 Yoke 형상 변화에 따른 EV-Relay 구동 액츄에이터의 동작특성에 대해 연구하였다. 요크는 기본 형상을 포함하여 3가지 형태이며, 각 형상에 대해 유한요소해석으로 동작특성을 계산하였다. 계산시간 단축을 위해 2차원 축대칭 모델을 이용하였고, 기계적 부하를 동작특성 계산과정에 포함하여 실제동작상태와 유사하게 표현하였다. 마지막으로, 요크 형상에 따른 3가지 모델의 계산결과를 비교하여 기존 모델보다 형상이 변화된 모델의 동작특성이 개선되었음을 확인하였다.

  • 배터리의 수명에 영향을 주는 충전기의 성능이 중요하기 때문에 DC-DC 컨버터의 손실 저감은 곧 충전기의 성능 향상과 직결된다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 DC-DC 풀브릿지 부스트 컨버터에 액티브 클램프 회로를 추가하여 ZVS 동작을 통해 스위치 턴 온 시 생기는 전력 손실을 저감한다. 그로써 EV 배터리 충전기의 향상된 성능을 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증한다.

  • In this paper, the ACC(Adaptive Cruise Control) method of Electric Vehicle using sliding mode controller is proposed. The IPMSM is safely controlled as safe distance using distance sensor at front of vehicle. The speed of EV is controlled to ensure safe distance using sliding mode controller. The sliding mode controller is suitable to apply nonlinear system like EV. In this paper, IPMSM speed control ability is verified by simulation using PSIM.

  • Electric vehicles contribute greatly to energy conservation, $CO_2$ reduction and energy security through high fuel economy and various electric sources. Electric cars have a huge economic impact. More than 14 million hybrid electric cars have been sold worldwide. More than 3 million plug-in electric vehicles have been sold worldwide. The environmental impact depends greatly on the amount of national power generation, and as the electric grid becomes more and more carbon-intensive, countries are increasingly adopting hybrid and electric vehicles. Electricity is expanding beyond cars. Electric buses, trucks, and ships have similar benefits.
