Purpose The purpose of this study is to analyze big data related to DURIBAL from the operation of taxis reserved for the disabled to identify the issues and suggest solutions. ESG management should be translated into "environmental factors, social responsibilities, and transparent management." Therefore, the current study used Big Data analysis to analyze the factors affecting the standby of taxis reserved for the disabled and relevant problems for implications on convenience of social weak. Design/methodology/approach The analysis method used R, Excel, Power BI, QGIS, and SPSS. We proposed several suggestions included problems with managing cancellation data, minimization of dark data, needs to develop an integrated database for scattered data, and system upgrades for additional analysis. Findings The results showed that the total duration of standby was 34 minutes 29 seconds. The reasons for cancellation data were mostly use of other modes of transportation or delayed arrival. The study suggests development of an integrated database for scattered data. Finally, follow-up studies may discuss government-initiated big data analysis to comparatively analyze the use of taxis reserved for the disabled nationwide for new social value.

This paper discusses American disability theater's representations of disability identity and disability identity politics. Dramatists John Belluso and Lynn Manning, among others, present characters with disabilities who experience oppressions at multiple, interlocking levels of domination on the basis of disability, race, and ethnicity. In Manning's Shoot, the black, blind hero iterates episodes in which he experienced discrimination and insults in encounters with whites who used derogatory racist words or belittled him and with some school children who taunted him for just being blind. This play, as in Manning's solo performance, Weights, presents narratives of a blind person traversing multiple locations of oppression in "a long litany of losses" in a white-dominated and ableist society. Belluso's Gretty Good Time similarly weaves together stories of disabled women, Gretty and Hideko, who bond together to resist the dominant ideology that reduces them into titillating commodities of mass consumption. Hideko's story serves the two-fold function of both affirming the specificity of her individual experience as an ethnic other and espousing the communal experience of stigmatization she shares with other disabled women like Gretty. In these plays, the intersection of the identity categories of disability, race, and ethnicity highlights the diversity of the body and the fluidity of boundaries, foregounding the specificity of disabled bodies, while at the same time overthrowing the hierarchical binarism between disabled and "normal" bodies.

This study attempts to develop improved ingress and egress in vehicle for disabled wheelchair people who driving is available, after investigating the ingress and egress relation demand and the inconvenient factor in the vehicle. An experiment was performed for that disabled wheelchair people to analyze the characteristics of ingress and egress relation operation through the questionnaire survey and the camera photographing. The results suggest various improvements possibilities in inside handlebar as a main factor. Through analysis of disabled wheelchair person's ingress and egress tendency, the alternative shape and position of inside handlebar are suggested. Also, this paper aimed to draw ingress and egress improvement proposal by executing a verification experiment and collecting the preferences from disabled people.

According to the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning's survey of information gap, smartphone retention rate of disabled people stayed in one-third of non-disabled people, the situation is significantly less access to information for people with disabilities than non-disabled people. In this paper, we develop an application, CallHelper, that helps to be more convenient to use mobile voice calls to the auditory disabled people. CallHelper runs automatically when a call comes in, translates caller's voice to text output on the mobile screen, and displays the emotion reasoning from the caller's voice to visualize emoticons. It also saves voice, translated text, and emotion data that can be played back.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate whether subjective health and social support influence depression directly or indirectly through self-control of the physically disabled. Method: A five-item General Health Short Form (SF-36) Health Survey Questionnaire was used to measure subjective health. Social support and self-control were measured by Social Support Questionnaire 6 and Mastery Scale. The level of depression was measured by CES-D (Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression). Result: The level of depression was high (M=22.23). Seventy percent of the subjects were depressed. Subjective health and satisfaction with social support influenced self-control. Subjective health influenced the level of depression directly and indirectly, but self-control influenced the level of depression only directly. Conclusion: Subjective health and satisfaction with social support influenced depression through self-control in physically disabled persons. Therefore, when we manage these subjects' depression, it is seemed that program which lowers the level of depression by assessing and correcting these factors should be prepared.

As cities develops, road systems become more and more complicated. These days people depends on navigation systems when walking as well as driving cars. General navigation systems are either installed in cars or exists as smart phone applications. Therefore, it is very difficult to use them while walking or riding bicycles. Moreover, disabled person cannot use them to find his destinations. In this paper, we propose a bracelet navigation system for walkers and disabled people, and describe the design and implementation of such a device. This navigation will help not only walkers and people riding bicycle but also disabled people to actively participate their social activities.

The purpose of this study is to examine the residential institutions for the disabled in Korea on the base of welfare rights, and to propose some actual ways for improvement. For this, we analyzed the attributes of the residential institutions for the disabled in Korea. The results shows that the residential institutions for the disabled in Korea are characterized by massiveness, isolation, inequality in power, and no choice. For improvement we suggested that the residential institutions for the disabled should be run by the principles of supplement, normalization, inter-reliance, and individualization. In order to achieve these goals, the government has to invest the needs for de-institutionalization of the users, run the institutions on the smaller scale and replace them in communities, and systemize the person-centered support and service provision processes. In addition to them, the managers of the institutions should try to socialize the institutions, and to increase the participation of the users in management.

As there is no case study with current status, measurements or description on the state of actual site of rural area only, the delivery of actual conditions about such an area is significantly limited. The purpose of this study is to pinpoint issues with housing conditions of low-income family with disabled members in the rural area. For such a purpose, 25 households of disabled people have been visited for interview, on-site research and survey, of which results are summed up in this paper as following: First, average monthly income of such family turned out to be KRW 480,000, most of which is from the government subsidy. High ratio of such families has resided in a house with average size of approximately 56m2 for about 24 years. Secondly the most needed maintenance work with top priority was for the toilet, and many of the interviewees expressed their discomfort about small size of their bathrooms and inconvenient facilities therein. Thirdly, most of such houses had too high thresholds that posed danger and inconvenience. Such thresholds had average height of 13cm, which can be considered as completely inconsiderate of disabled users. Fourth issue was that these people needed safety handle that will enable them to stand up or to be in the standing posture in the living room and bedroom where they spend most of their time. Fifthly, they wanted finishing materials with waterproof functionality as well as replacement of finishing materials and wallpaper which were too old and caused hygiene issues. As these issues represent, current housing for disabled people in the rural area turned out to be poor and risky space rather than the place where difficulty of individual situation can be resolved or their disability can be complemented. Thus it can be determined that now is the time to arrange the solutions for such housing difficulties and to establish customized housing plan to ensure safety and convenience.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the rehabilitation policy of North and South Korea in the context of the analysis and to classify the output according to the social welfare policy calculation framework of Gilbert and Spight, To promote exchanges and to suggest directions for development. Therefore, the welfare policy model for disabled people in South Korea is established, and the welfare policy that can be applied to the North Korean society in a short period of time is applied to South Korea's movement rehabilitation welfare policies by reducing the lack of communication through the unified and institutionalized disabled groups of South Korea And it activates and activates the foundation of the revitalization of the disabled person sports.
