This study attempts to systematically analyze a red carpet style. I have researched the Academy Awards called representative film awards which symbolizes international fame and the Grammy Awards which is the most prestigious award in the music industry by subdividing into formative elements such as silhouette, color, fabric, pattern, detail, accessory, fashion image, and so on from 2000 to 2012. Firstly, when it comes to silhouette, mermaid silhouette accounts for the highest proportion in the Academy Awards. Compared to this, fit silhouette is shown almost the same percentage as the mermaid silhouette in the Grammy Awards. Secondly, with regard to color, black color has not only the highest percentage but also examples of different unit forms such as various color, showy gradation and single colors. Various colors in the Grammy Awards have similar percentage in comparison with the Academy Awards. Thirdly, in terms of fabric, silky material is often used most, which looks like putting more weight on dresses for the formative elements of clothes. Fourthly, in pattern, patternless dresses are represented by high percentage at both the Academy Awards and Grammy Awards. Dresses with patterns have mild, stylistic elements and geometric designs. The Grammy Awards shows many different unique patterns, color and size, compared to the Academy Awards. Fifthly, in detail, frill and ruffle ornaments are shown most at the Academy Awards and Grammy Awards. Especially in the Grammy Awards, beads ornaments are used most. Sixthly, in accessory, there are many accessories of graceful, elegance styles in the Academy Awards. On the contrary to this, there are many accessories to effect on many performances of large, fancy, unique styles. Seventhly, elegance images of a goddess style among fashion images emerge as fashion of the Academy Awards. In spite of romantic styles in the Grammy Awards, many various images are the same rate as there, which means different appearance of experiment and sensational styles.

본 연구는 노베르트 엘리아스의 진행형 사회학 알려진 문명화 과정 이론을 중심으로 전통적으로 비영어권 또는 아시아권 영화에 대한 시상이 드물었던 아카데미 시상식에서 처음으로 4개 부문의 오스카 트로피를 수상한 영화 <기생충>과의 '기득권과 아웃사이더 (Elias & Scotson, 1994)' 권력관계를 연구했다. 연구 분석을 위하여 지난 제92회 수상식 전후 한 달 기간의 미국과 한국 6개의 신문을 질적 내용분석을 했다. 첫 번째로, 전통적으로 아카데미 시상식은 비영어권 또는 아시아권 영화들에 기득권적 배경이 있었다. 하지만 지난 제92회 시상식에서 영화 <기생충>의 4개 부문 수상으로 전통적인 아카데미의 기득권에 변화가 나타났다. 두 번째로 역사적으로 비영어권 영화에 대해 아카데미 시상식의 전통적 낙인(언어적 낙인)과 집단 카리스마 (아카데미 시상식) 등을 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로, 아카데미 시상식에 관한 양국 신문 보도는 일반적으로 유사하지만, 한국 신문의 경우 기사를 통한 개인, 사회 그리고 국가의 일체화 양상이 발견되었다.

Throughout her life time, Edith Head produced cinema costumes for over one thousand movies. She was the leading cinema costume designer in Hollywood. Since the Academy Awards added the area of costume design to be recognized [during 33 years of her work(1948∼1981)], she was nominated 35 times an awarded eight times. However, there were no significant studies done on her work or accomplishments although she was acknowledged as an ingenue and creative designer who elicited artistic effects by reflect character's images through their costumes. The purpose of the study was focused on revealing Edith Head's life and work as her creations had a great impact in he field of cinema costumes. It was also to emphasize the forceful affect of cinema costumes on fashion and to disclose the powerful influence of cinema costume designers. The method of the study includes reviews of literature, movies for which she created costumes, her own possessions, and fashion magazines as well as her works that were nominated and chosen for the Academy Awards. Edith head's emphasis in costume design was based on a blend of both simplicity and sophistication avoiding excessive exaggeration and transformation in her work. Her work was also realistic and contemporary. She developed a dramatic ambience through an innovative design while preserving the actor's individual character and uniqueness. Through this accept her her work was highly renowned as an art form as it was gaining popularity. She was also a dominant figure who influenced trends in the areas of fashion magazines, uniforms, and public clothing. In the review of her cinema costumes, it was revealed that the styles of cinema costumes can be as quickly adapted by the public as movies are viewed because the cinema costumes are highly projected through a visual channel. Subsequently, a follow up study on the affect of cinema costumes on fashion would be beneficial.

Compared with Cathy Song and Myung-Mi Kim, Suji Kwock Kim is yet to be known in Korea, even though she won prestigious American literary awards like the Walt Whitman Award from the Academy of American Poets and the Addison Metcalf Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters for her debut book of poems, Notes from the Divided Country. Although she was born and raised in the United States and had little knowledge of Korean at first, she came to recognize her identity and be familiar by and by with Korean history. The knowledge of the facts that Korea had been ravaged by foreign forces and suffered from the Japanese colonization and the Korean War aches her soul, and this soul-aching is aggravated by her ancestors' direct experiences of those Korean historical tragedies. But this book of poems does not contain poems regarding Korean history alone. The first part shows her guilty consciouseness for her brother and sister, who are suggested to be physically abnormal or mentally retarded. The third and fourth parts are filled with poems of very diverse subject matters, tones, and themes. Of those poems, "Monologue for an Onion" is probably most worthy of special attention. It is not only a searing indictment for human folly but also a very intriguing poetic rendering of Nietzschean ultimate lessson. Her achievement in the first book of poems makes us eagerly wait for the second one, which is, reportedly, forthcoming sooner or later.

연구 분야는 주로 무척추고동물학, 고식물학, 화분학, 미고생물학, 층서학이며, 2005년 10월을 기준으로 총 223명의 연구원과 대학원생이 연구하고 있다. 50년 전 설립된 이후 6,200여 논문이 국내와 국제 학회지에 실렸으며, 200여 연구 과제가 중국과학원과 정부 수준의 부처에서 상을 받았다. 그중 "청지앙생물군과 캄브리아기 동물군 대분화"가 2003년 중국 과학기술부에서 수여하는 제1등 국가 자연과학상을 수상하였다.

The purpose of this study is to create party wear of heroine Satine's image. This study analyzed the costume and its image of the film "Moulin Rouge" which the director Baz Luhrmann filmed the club 'Moulin Rouge' has existed in Paris, France. Catherine Martin, who got the Academy awards in movie costume and art director with this film, made the costume which was added more gorgeous and modern sense for the image beauty for costume in film from the costume design which appeared in the art work of Toulouse-Lautrec painted Moulin Rouge. In the costume form, S-silhouette robe with gored skirt was appeared as usual garment and gorgeous corset style costume which was outer garment like underwear exposed of the body, pleasant apolaustic and decorated excessively was appeared for costume design. Based on the above study, this study created the party wear of the graceful eroticism image and the prostitute eroticism image of heroine Satine. The costume design of Satine's image was planned along the character which was analyzed through this study.

본 논문은 할리우드 영화산업과 넷플릭스 간 갈등의 고찰을 통해 스트리밍 서비스의 부상이 미디어 지형에 어떠한 영향을 미쳐왔는지 밝히고자 한다. 특히 영화산업의 재편을 가져올 수 있는 가장 중요한 문제로써 극장을 거치지 않고 자사 플랫폼에 영화를 공개하는 넷플릭스의 개봉방식을 살펴보고 이에 대한 반발이 크게 불거진 2019년 아카데미 영화제를 중심으로 할리우드의 반대를 살펴본다. 동시에 최근 할리우드 영화제작이 프랜차이즈나 텐트 폴 등 대작 영화에 집중되어 왔으며 반면 넷플릭스는 스튜디오들이 기피하는 다양한 영화들을 제작해 왔음을 살펴 본다. 이에 본 논문은 극장 개봉 여부가 영화를 더욱 영화적으로 만드는지에 대해 의문을 제기하며 넷플릭스가 할리우드 영화산업에 가져온 변화를 막을 수 없음을 주장한다.

빠르게 변화하고 있는 4차 산업 시대에 빅데이터는 다양한 분야에 활용되고 있다. 최근 문화예술콘텐츠 전반에도 빅데이터의 활용은 급속도로 적용되고 있고, 그중에서도 영화는 자본이 많이 드는 예술장르로서 빅데이터의 활용은 매우 유용한 분석 수단이다. 본 연구는 2019년 제72회 칸 영화제의 황금종려상과 아카데미 시상식에서 4관왕(작품상, 감독상, 각본상, 외국어 영화상)을 차지하며 한국영화의 가치를 보여준 영화 <기생충>을 대상으로 빅데이터 분석기법을 적용하여 실시하였다. 이렇게 분석된 값은 데이터의 주기별 변화량과 감성의 값을 부여하는 오피니언 마이닝을 통해 영화 흥행을 예측하고, 페이스북(Facebook), 트위터(Twitter) 등 SNS의 활용지수와 토픽 키워드를 추출하여 관객들의 관심을 반영하는 영화적 요인들이 무엇인지를 살펴보았다. 이처럼 빅데이터를 활용한 영화흥행 요인분석으로 모델 구축 및 모형 개발로 흥행예측이 가능해지면 영화제작 과정의 효율성을 극대화하면서 제작비용과 영화실패에 따른 리스크를 최소화 할 것이다.

흑인음악은 미국 내에서 소박한 민요에서부터 '재즈','알앤비','소울','펑크' 음악을 포함하는 매우 포괄적인 개념이다. 5음 음계의 싱코페이션을 사용하는 독특한 아프리카적 특성과 가스펠의 영향을 받으면서 발전하게 된다. 흑인 음악 장르의 다양성은 인종차별에 대한 역사적 흐름과 지역적 특색과 더불어 백인들과의 음악적 퓨전에서 찾을 수 있다. 미국 흑인음악의 거장 '스티비원더'. 흑인음악의 아버지라는 타이틀과 함께 그에게는 신체적 특징이 있다. 그것은 장애를 극복하면서, 수많은 음반과 히트곡 그리고 수 없이 많은 상을 차지하며, 미국을 넘어 전 세계적인 인기를 구가하는 뮤지션이 됐다는 점이다. 실용 음악사에 놓칠 수 없는 '스티비원더' 의 삶과 음악 그리고, 정신을 계승, 발전시켜 나아가야 함은 이 시대와 앞으로의 우리들의 음악을 폭넓게 밝혀주는 주요한 요소 중의 하나일 것 이다. 스티비원더의 모험 정신과 천재성은 앞으로도 우리나라 대중음악 및 뮤지션에게 큰 영향을 주게 될 것이다. 본 논문에서는 흑인 음악의 거장 '스티비원더'의 작품을 분석하고 악기 구성과 리듬의 독특함이 우리나라의 대중음악 뮤지션에게 어떠한 영향을 주었는지 연구 한다.

유체 시뮬레이션은 영화나 게임에 등장하는 물, 연기, 불, 폭발, 모래 등과 관련된 애니메이션을 생성하기 위해 유체운동 방정식을 풀어 형상화하는 컴퓨터 그래픽스 기술이다. 본 리뷰 논문은 유체 시뮬레이션에 대한 최근의 연구 동향을 영화를 중심으로 분석한다. 이를 위해 먼저 컴퓨터 그래픽스 분야에서 유체 시뮬레이션을 하는 방법과 이와 관련된 효율적 속도, 사실적 형상화 등의 기술적 이슈들을 격자 방법과 입자방법으로 분류하여 설명한다. 다음으로 2008년 Sci-Tech 오스카상을 수상한 유체 시뮬레이션 연구자 및 개발자들의 업적을 중심으로 그들이 제작한 영화 속에 사용된 기술의 특징을 설명한다. 이 과정을 통해 향후 영상 콘텐츠 분야의 유체 시뮬레이션 연구개발의 발전방향을 짚어보면 유체와 변형체나 고체사이의 상호작용, 상변이에 의한 위상 변화 표현, 유체 기반 크리쳐 생성과 크리쳐와 유체 상호작용 표현 기술이 주목을 받을 것으로 예상한다.
