The purpose of this study was to examine the factors that affect the awareness of disabled in undergraduate students. A sample of 1,998 respondents was surveyed. Of these, a total of 1,957 questionnaires were analysed excluding the 41 questionnaires that did not agree with the survey or had a missing data. The questionnaire consists of the general characteristics, experience related to disability and disability awareness and we used a 4-point Likert scale. Collected data was analyzed using the SPSS 24.0 program and descriptive statistics, t-test, variance analysis and multiple regression analysis were used. According to the results of the study, the disability awareness score of our respondents was average 40.52. Second, female students had more positive about disability awareness than male ones, and senior students had more positive awareness than other grade students. Third, non-rehabilitation department students' disability awareness was more positive than rehabilitation students. Fourth, the disability awareness of people who have a acquaintance member with disability or health worker were significantly positive. Finally, the awareness of people who experienced at the disability related institution were significantly positive. Therefore, to improve the awareness of undergraduate students about disabilities, it is required to activate positive contact experiences with people with disabilities rather than theoretical learning.
This study aimed to investigate the effect of the participation in rehabilitation horseback riding program on the sleep, and to provide the basic data by analyzing the sleep of individuals with autism spectrum disorders. This study subjects consisted of 10 individuals with autism spectrum disorders residing in a residential care facility for the people with intellectual disabilities. They participated in the 12 weeks rehabilitation horseback riding program regularly. To investigate the effects of participating this program on sleep, subjects' sleep time, wake-up time, total sleep time and wake-up frequency during sleep were measured. Descriptive statistics and Friedman test were conducted to analyze the change the sleep. As a reulst of anlysis, it was found that the sleep time came earlier, the total sleep time increased, and the wake-up frequency during sleep reduced. Therefore, the rehabilitation horseback riding program participation was shown to have a positive effect on the subjects' sleep. Since the application of this program can act as a positive factor in the sleep of the participations, it is expected to be used as an in-facility program for the residents with autism spectrum disorders.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of helplessness, depression, subjective health status, family support, and social support on health promoting behaviors of elderly people over 65 years old. The subjects of this study were 3 welfare centers in G city and C city, 3 senior citizen center and 225 elderly people in 2 geriatric hospital, and this study was analyzed with descriptive statistics, reliability, correlation, confirmatory factor analysis, fitness test, total effect, direct effect, and indirect effect. The direct effects of variables affecting health promoting behaviors were social support, depression, family support, subjective health status, and helplessness. These variables accounted for 66% of health promoting behaviors. Depression, helplessness had a significant indirect effect on family support and social support, and subjective health status had a significant indirect effect on social support, but didn't have a significant indirect effect on family support. In this paper, we propose a new approach to elderly's health promoting behaviors and it is recommended that an intervention program be developed and applied to on personal situation should be necessary for elder's depression, helplessness and subjective health status.

This study was conducted to identify the utilization of public health centers, as well as the individual characteristics and regional characteristics that affect their utilization based on data from the 2016 Community Health Survey, National Statistical Portal, and National Institute of Environmental Research. Independent samples t-tests, variance analysis, and multiple logistic regression analysis were used for analysis. Hierarchical multiple regression was used to analyze individual and regional characteristics. The results of hierarchical multiple regressions revealed that aged regions, women, older age individuals, respondents with lower education level and income level, walking practitioners, nutrition label readers, individuals experiencing depression, those who have received health checkups, those who are not covered by essential care, those who have spouses, and basic livelihood beneficiaries have increased use of public health centers. However, the use of public health centers decreased in stressors, and regions in which the population per 1,000, number of health care workers, health and welfare budget, fiscal independence, and unemployment rate were above the national average. As above, the central government and local governments need to analyze not only individual characteristics such as health behavior and psychological factors, but also regional characteristics, when establishing local health care policy.
The purpose of this study is to find out how underwater rehabilitation exercises affect physical fitness and blood lipids for 10 weeks and provide basic data to help prevent middle-aged women from cardiovascular diseases. The subjects of this study were middle-aged women living in Seoul, Korea. The underwater rehabilitation exercise was performed for 1 week and 3 times for 10 weeks, and the exercise time was 60 minutes for 1 time including the warm up, the main exercise and the cool down. The exercise intensity was set at 60-70% of the heart rate reserve calculated from the pre-exercise test. The measurement variables were physical fitness and blood lipid. In the data processing, descriptive statistics were presented for each measurement item and a 2-way RGRM ANOVA was conducted to examine the interaction effects between groups. The results have shown significant interaction effects in physical fitness(Flexibility, Cardiorespiratory Endurance, Muscular Endurance) and the blood lipids(TG, TC, HLD-C, LDL-C). This study found that the 10-week underwater rehabilitation exercise program of middle-aged women increased physical fitness level and decreased and increased blood lipid, which could be an effective and convergent program to prevent and reduce cardiovascular disease.
This study was conducted to develop a stem volume table for Quercus acutissima in Korea by using Kozak's stem taper equation. In total, 2700 tree samples were collected around the country, and growth performance was investigated through compiling data on diameters by stem height and stem analysis. In order to test the stem taper equation's fitness, the fitness index (FI), bias, and mean absolute deviation (MAD) were analyzed. The fitness of the equation was estimated at 97%, bias as 0.017, and MAD turned out to be 1.118, respectively. Furthermore, there was a statistically significant volume difference between the current volume table and the new volume table (p = 0.0008, <0.005). The result indicates that using the new volume table that reflects the actual forest will reduce the loss when assessing wood resources and will improve the accuracy of forest statistics for national and local governments. A stem volume table, the main result of this research, which is utilized in the estimated stem taper equation, will provide growth information for Quercus acutissima, one of the main broadleaf species in Korea, and will function as a management indicator for rational forest management.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the general characteristics, work overload, work life balance, job engagement of working adolescents and the factors affecting job engagement. We examined 1,772 working adolescents under the age of 24 years in response to the fifth Korean Working Conditions Survey. Technical statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and regression analysis were used. The study results showed that men had high-level job engagement when they were professional, self-employed, 41-52 hours per week, and never experienced employment discrimination. For women, job engagement was high if they were under 19 years of age, college graduates, professions, temporary work, 41-52 hours a week, and had never experienced gender discrimination, and employment discrimination. In addition, the job engagement of both men and women was higher when work overload was less and work life balance was good. This study is meaningful in that it examined the job engagement of working youth by using the Korean Working Conditions Survey representative of Korean workers. However, it has limitations in that it does not take into account specific circumstances such as academic status or military service. Based on the study results, it can be used as basic data for developing educational programs to manage job engagement and understanding of working adolescents.

This study was conducted to evaluate the health promotion behavior level, health beliefs, and self-efficacy of individuals preparing for civil service examinations, as well as the main factors that influence their health promotion behavior. The study subjects were 290 individuals who were preparing for civil service examinations in Noryangjin, where there are a lot of private institutions that provide training for the examinations. Data were collected by questionnaire surveys conducted from December 1 to 19, 2017. With the use of SPSS ver. 23, descriptive statistics, t-tests, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and stepwise multiple regression were conducted. On average, the score for health promotion behavior practice was $2.37{\pm}0.45points$, health beliefs $3.13{\pm}0.45points$, and self-efficacy $3.55{\pm}0.74points$. Health promotion behavior was significantly positively correlated with perceived severity and perceived benefits, which are sub factors of health beliefs (r=.60, p<.001; r=.55, p<.001), while it was significantly negatively correlated with perceived barriers, which are a sub factor of health beliefs (r=.32, p<.001). The factors that influenced health promotion behavior were perceived health condition and perceived barriers, and the explanatory power of health promotion behavior was 25.1% (F=13.58, p<.001). In general, respondents studied for the examinations for a long time and were under severe job pressure; accordingly, they need to have quality meals, regular exercise, and regular medical check-ups to enhance health promotion behavior to control their stress.
