  • In general steel sheet pile use the containment system, vertical barrier systems for waste disposal and landfill purposes, roads in excavation which have a more permanent character or temporary structure. The sheet pile joints between section of the wall are sealed with a filter material arid the resistance to seepage is a function of the type of material employed. The aim of this paper is to review a characteristic of permeability for Z type sheet pile by field test in various condition.

  • In this thesis, the field test by truck load and the structural analysis were performed on a preflex beam bridge to investigate the load carrying capacity. From the field test and the structural analysis results, K(corrective factor) and $P_n$(load carrying capacity) of the preflex beam bridges were studied, and these factors were applied to the load carrying capacity assessment of the preflex bridges.

  • This paper represents analysis of field test results of terrestrial DTV on channel repeaters over Taejon city area. Two kind of on channel repeaters were tested. Non-regenerative repeater performs filtering, amplifying and re-transmit received main DTV signal. Regenerative repeater performs demodulation, modulation and amplifying and re-transmit received main DTV signal. The non-regenerative repeater threshold D/U ratio is about 10dB better than regenerative repeater's one.

  • Step-by-step laboratory performance test and repetitive improvement of KRRI rail fastening system show that it has the similar capability as other fastening systems that have been globally used. In this study, for the evaluation of field applicability, construction and rolling-stock operation test of KRRI rail fastening system are performed. Through this approach, comparison against the service criteria of foreign countries are made.

  • This paper presents field test results of the GPS precise positioning using carrier phase observable. The Least-squares AMBiguity Decorrelation Adjustment(LAMBDA) method is implemented to resolve integer ambiguity problem for two epoch Ll carrier phase measurement data. Field test results show that the GPS precise positioning of cm-level accuracy is obtainable with conventional low cost, single frequency C/A code GPS receivers.

  • The field test system covers three substation, 25 distribution feeders and 125 automated switches. Many small electric vendors participated in this project. Although each device is a small prototype, it was designed to carry out all of the functions. In performing the project, KEPRI has gained valuable experience, through dealing with many difficult problem. This paper is depicted about many kind of those difficult problems.

  • In this study, Curve dependent wheel flange lubricator with grease spray type is investigated and estimated a point of view reducing wheel flange wear and noise in the curve through field test on korean rail. Advantage of curve dependent wheel flange lubricator with grease spray type is found on the basis of the result of field test in comparison with oil spray type lubricator and wheel without wheel flange lubricator on railroad in Korea.
