화생방 보호의 성능평가를 위한 무선 실시간 가스 검출기 개발 (Development of Wireless Real-Time Gas Detector System for Chemical Protection Performance Test of Personal Protective Equipment)

  • Man-In-Simulant Test(MIST) provides a test method to evaluate chemical protective equipments such as protective garments, gloves, footwear and gas mask. The MIST chamber is built to control concentration of chemical vapor that has a activity space for two persons. Non-toxic methyl-salicylate(MeS) is used to simulate chemical agent vapor. We carried out to measure inward leakage MeS vapors by using passive adsorbent dosimeter(PAD) which are placed on the skin at specific locations of the body while man is activity according to the standard procedure in MIST chamber. But more time is required for PADs and there is concern of contamination in PADs by recovering after experiment. Therefore detector for measuring in real time is necessary. In order to analyze in real time the contamination of the personal protective equipment inside the chemical environment, we have developed a wireless real-time gas detector. The detector consists of 8 gas-sensors and 1 control-board. The control-board includes a CPU for processing a signal, a power supply unit for biasing the sensor and Bluetooth-chipset for transmission of signals to external PC. All signals from gas-sensors are converted into digital signals simultaneously in the control-board. These digital signals are stored in external PC via Bluetooth wireless communication. The experiment is performed by using protective equipment worn on manikin. The detector is mounted inside protective equipment which is capable of providing a real-time monitoring inward leakage MeS vapor. Developed detector is demonstrated the feasibility as real-time detector for MIST.

RTS test study and numerical simulation of mechanical properties of HDR bearings

  • High Damping Rubber bearings (HDR bearings) have been used in the seismic design of bridge structures widely in China. In earthquakes, structural natural periods will be extended, seismic energy will be dissipated by this kind of bearing. Previously, cyclic loading method was used mainly for test studies on mechanical properties of HDR bearings, which cannot simulate real seismic responses. In this paper, Real-Time Substructure (RTS) test study on mechanical properties of HDR bearings was conducted and it was found that the loading rate effect was not negligible. Then the influence of peak acceleration of ground motion was studied. At last test results were compared with a numerical simulation in the OpenSees software framework with the Kikuchi model. It is found that the Kikuchi model can simulate real mechanical properties of HDR bearings in earthquakes accurately.

Real-time large-scale hybrid testing for seismic performance evaluation of smart structures

  • Numerous devices exist for reducing or eliminating seismic damage to structures. These include passive dampers, semi-active dampers, and active control devices. The performance of structural systems with these devices has often been evaluated using numerical simulations. Experiments on structural systems with these devices, particularly at large-scale, are lacking. This paper describes a real-time hybrid testing facility that has been developed at the Lehigh University NEES Equipment Site. The facility enables real-time large-scale experiments to be performed on structural systems with rate-dependent devices, thereby permitting a more complete evaluation of the seismic performance of the devices and their effectiveness in seismic hazard reduction. The hardware and integrated control architecture for hybrid testing developed at the facility are presented. An application involving the use of passive elastomeric dampers in a three story moment resisting frame subjected to earthquake ground motions is presented. The experiment focused on a test structure consisting of the damper and diagonal bracing, which was coupled to a nonlinear analytical model of the remaining part of the structure (i.e., the moment resisting frame). A tracking indictor is used to track the actuator ability to achieve the command displacement during a test, enabling the quality of the test results to be assessed. An extension of the testbed to the real-time hybrid testing of smart structures with semi-active dampers is described.

  • The performance of a commercialized power system stabilizer (PWX-600) for a single hydro-turbine generator and infinite bus system has been investigated using Real Time Digital Simulator (RTDS) in this paper. The test system was composed of RTDS, three phase voltage/current amplifier and the PSS. The test scheme provided a very efficient way to verify the design and control performance of a PSS to be applied to real power system. The scheme can also be applied to verify in real time the performance of hardware and software of power system controllers for FACTS and protective relays effectively.

신문지 재활용 공정의 일차 점착성 이물질 실시간 정량을 위한 새로운 방법 (New Method for Real-Time Analysis of Primary Stickies in ONP Recycling Process)

  • The possibility of real time analysis about hot melt resins and pressure sensitive adhesives in newsprint stock was investigated by performing comparative tests using conventional image analysis method and real time contaminants analyzer. Based on the test results, the performance of real time contaminants analyzer in terms of detecting primary stickies in newsprint stock could be verified. Real time stickies analysis showed good precision and over-estimation of hot melt resins and under-estimation of pressure sensitive adhesives could be corrected by adapting new method. Real time analysis of primary stickies in the actual newsprint stock also showed good correlation with conventional image analysis and the performance of real time contaminants analyzer could be verified again. Adjustment of the contrast sensitivity of real time contaminants analyzer was enough to set the proper monitoring conditions for primary stickies in newsprint stock.

  • In this paper, we apply NHPP model example to s/w process in order to get to know s/w reliability. The test is constructed by a test zig of commercial product loaded real embedded system s/w. It is established to s/w reliability prediction and estimation of real-time embedded system s/w. It is computed the prediction value of cumulative failures, the failure intensity, the reliability and the estimation value of MTTF, Failure Rate. To the more realization of high reliability in the real-time embedded system s/w, if the embedded system s/w is ensured to the test coverage and constructed to stable s/w process & operating system, we can improve the performance and the reliability characteristic of the real-time embedded system s/w.

  • In general, real power system is not stopped for reason of its test. And then we have no way to verify its reliability on real power system. In this paper we present the real time simulation technique of the APRS(Automatic Power Reconfiguration System) before it is applied in real power system. We used the Real Time Digital Simulator constructed in KEPRL And we applied the power system model which is reduced because of RTDS capacity. Also, We prescent the method Interface between target system(APRS) and RTDS. Last, We provide the test results and the meaning.

실시간 하이브리드 실험 시스템을 위한 Implicit 시간적분법 (Implicit Time Integration Scheme for Real-Time Hybrid Test System)

  • 이 논문에서 소개되는 실시간 하이브리드 실험 시스템은 유사동적실험법을 근거로 하고 있으며, 실제 실험과수학적 모델을 이용한 수치해석을 결합한 실험법이다. 이 시스템은 종래의 유사동적해석법에 비해 지진하중을 받는 구조물의 실시간 반응에 근접하는 현저히 높은 하중재하 속도를 고려할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 또한 다자유도 구조물에 대해 안정적인 해석환경을 제공하기 위해 이 시스템은 implicit 시간적분법을 이용하여 수치해석을 수행한다. 이 논문은 연구를 통해 개발된 시스템의 전반적인 개요와 구성요소 그리고 이 시스템에서 사용하는 수치 해석법의 성능을 평가하기 위해 수행된 수치해석을 소개한다. 연구 결과 개발된 시스템에 적용된 수치해석법은 성능이 매우 우수하다는 것이 증명되었다.

  • 소프트웨어의 생산성을 높이고 신뢰성 있는 실시간 이동형 내장 소프트웨어를 개발하기 위해서는, 소프트웨어를 실시간으로 정확하게 분석하고 시험 검증할 수 있는도구가 필요하다. 이러한 도구는 기본적으로 소스코드 기반의 화이트박스 시험 기능, 실시간 시스템 모니터링과 실행 제어 기능을 필요로 하며, 향후 다양한 시스템 환경과의 연동을 고려하여 재사용성과 이식성을 높일 수 있도록 설계되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 이동형 내장 소프트웨어를 시험하기 위한 시험검증 도구의 기능적 요구사항을 식별하고, 식별된 요구사항을 바탕으로 시험검증 도구에 적합한 구조를 설계하였다 또한 시험검증 도구의 확장성과 이식성 제고를 위해 각 기능에 대한 구체적인 구현 기술과 기법을 제시하였으며, 이들 기능의 설계에 디자인 패턴을 적용하였다.

A Study on the Real-Time Parameter Estimation of DURUMI-II for Control Surface Fault Using Flight Test Data (Longitudinal Motion)

  • For the purpose of fault detection of the primary control surface, real-time estimation of the longitudinal stability and control derivatives of the DURUMI-II using the flight data is considered in this paper. The DURUM-II, a research UAV developed by KARI, is designed to have split control surfaces for the redundancy and to guarantee safety during the fault mode flight test. For fault mode analysis, the right elevator was deliberately fixed to the specified deflection condition. This study also mentions how to implement the multi-step control input efficiently, and how to switch between the normal mode and the fault mode during the flight test. As a realtime parameter estimation technique, Fourier transform regression method was used and the estimated data was compared with the results of the analytical method and the other available method. The aerodynamic derivatives estimated from the normal mode flight data and the fault mode data are compared and the possibility to detect the elevator fault by monitoring the control derivative estimated in real time by the computer onboard was discussed.
