  • This paper is on the anlaysis for real-time software requirement . This method can be used for TNPIN(Timed Numerical Petri Net) as a easy communication means with a real-users. It is based on the RTTL(Real Time Temporal Logic) for correctness fo the system. TNPN is used to represent a behavior specification language, the validity of specified behaviors in TNPN is expressed in RTTL , and analyzed through the reachability graph. Thus , the requirement of between user and system is satisfied. By the example of shared track, the validity of the property of real-time (safetiness, responsiveness, liveness, priority) is verified. Also, this framework is give to connection with a object natually.

  • Droplet combustion at high ambient pressures is studied numerically by formulating one dimensional combustion model in the mixture of n-heptane fuel and air. The ambient pressure is supercritical conditions. The modified Soave-Redlich-Kwong state equation is used in the evaluation of thermophysical properties to account for the real gas effect on fluid p-v-T properties in high pressure conditions. Non-ideal thermodynamic and transport property at near critical and supercritical conditions are also considered. Several parametric studies are performed by changing ambient pressure and initial droplet diameter. Droplet lifetime decreased with increasing pressure. Surface temperature increased with increasing pressure. Ignition time increased with increasing initial droplet diameter. Temporal or spatial distribution of mass fraction, mass diffusivity, Lewis number, thermal conductivity, and specific heat were presented.

  • Effective traffic matrix estimation is the basis of efficient traffic engineering, and therefore, quality of service provision support in IP networks. In this study, traffic matrix estimation is investigated in IP networks and an Elman neural network-based traffic matrix inference (ENNTMI) method is proposed. In ENNTMI, the conventional Elman neural network is modified to capture the spatio-temporal correlations and the time-varying property, and certain side information is introduced to help estimate traffic matrix in a network accurately. The regular parameter is further introduced into the optimal equation. Thus, the highly ill-posed nature of traffic matrix estimation is overcome effectively and efficiently.

  • In this study, a Self-learning Neural-Fuzzy Networks is presented, Because of the fuzzy controller property, the designing problems of fuzzy if-then rules, membership functions and inference methods are very complex task. Thus in this paper we proposed the Neural-Fuzzy Networks composed by Sugeno and Takagi's fuzzy inference method and learned by using temporal back propagation algorithm. The proposed method can refine automatically the fuzzy if-then rules without human expert's knowledges. The induction motor servo system is used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme and the feasibility of the acquired fuzzy controller. All results are supported by simulation.

  • The linguistic characteristics of a sign language provide an important clue for an automatic construction of its expression from a given natural language sentence. For such characterization, we focus on the identification of elided constituents, the mapping of property-changing information into spatio-temporal dimension, and the need for rearranging the order of component information for enhanced quality of delivery. We use our characterization to implement a system that converts sentences in Korean into corresponding expressions in the Korean Sign Language.

  • This paper presents a novel scene change detection method using intra prediction mode and edge direction in H.264/AVC. When scene change occurs, there are less temporal correlation between frames, most of macro-blocks encoded in intra mode. Using this property, the method calculates the percentage of intra mode blocks in each predictive frame in order to get candidates of scene change frame. To further find scene change, we obtain edge histogram of each candidates by using eight prediction direction of intra prediction mode in H.264/AVC. We detect scene change frames with $\iota^1$-norm of edge histograms. The experimental results show that the method is efficient and robust.

  • We present the results of a time series analysis of the long-term radio lightcurves of four blazars: 3C 279, 3C 345, 3C 446, and BL Lacertae. We exploit the data base of the University of Michigan Radio Astronomy Observatory (UMRAO) monitoring program which provides densely sampled lightcurves spanning 32 years in time in three frequency bands located at 4.8, 8, and 14.5,GHz. Our sources show mostly flat or inverted (spectral indices -0.5 < alpha < 0) spectra, in agreement with optically thick emission. All lightcurves show strong variability on all time scales. Analyzing the time lags between the lightcurves from different frequency bands, we find that we can distinguish high-peaking flares and low-peaking flares in accord with the classification of Valtaoja et al. (1992). The periodograms (temporal power spectra) of the observed lightcurves are consistent with random-walk powerlaw noise without any indication of (quasi-)periodic variability. The fact that all four sources studied are in agreement with being random-walk noise emitters at radio wavelengths suggests that such behavior is a general property of blazars.

  • The characterization of laser mirrors is important for obtaining proper performance of femtosecond lasers. Characteristics of laser mirrors are usually described in terms of their reflectivity at a certain wavelength. In femtosecond laser applications, however, the dispersion property of the mirror should be considered because the temporal shape of a femtosecond light pulse changes during the reflection at the mirrors. • In order to detect climate changes using satellite imagery, the GCOS (Global Climate Observing System) defines requirements such as spatio-temporal resolution, stability by the time change, and uncertainty. Due to limitation of GK-2A sensor performance, the level-2 products can not satisfy the requirement, especially for spatial resolution. In this paper, we found the optimal pan-sharpening algorithm for GK-2A products. The six pan-sharpening methods included in CS (Component Substitution), MRA (Multi-Resolution Analysis), VO (Variational Optimization), and DL (Deep Learning) were used. In the case of DL, the synthesis property based method was used to generate training dataset. The process of synthesis property is that pan-sharpening model is applied with Pan (Panchromatic) and MS (Multispectral) images with reduced spatial resolution, and fused image is compared with the original MS image. In the synthesis property based method, fused image with desire level for user can be produced only when the geometric characteristics between the PAN with reduced spatial resolution and MS image are similar. However, since the dissimilarity exists, RD (Random Down-sampling) was additionally used as a way to minimize it. Among the pan-sharpening methods, PSGAN was applied with RD (PSGAN_RD). The fused images are qualitatively and quantitatively validated with consistency property and the synthesis property. As validation result, the GSA algorithm performs well in the evaluation index representing spatial characteristics. In the case of spectral characteristics, the PSGAN_RD has the best accuracy with the original MS image. Therefore, in consideration of spatial and spectral characteristics of fused image, we found that PSGAN_RD is suitable for GK-2A products.
