Development of GSCAD Template Rule for Hull Plate Forming (GSCAD를 이용한 Template 기능 개발 및 적용)

  • Template has been widely used for hull forming process in most of shipyards. It is used to estimate the curvature of deformed shape in comparison with design shape. SHI (Samsung Heavy Industry) had used AutoKon system for ship manufacturing design in the past. The AutoKon used the global coordinate system of ship (frame, water line and so on) to create template data. It brought the mismatched angles between templates and a curved shell plate. The mismatched angle is measured by forming worker to place template on shell forming stage. However, the mismatched angle is difficult to place template with exactly required angle because the shell plates have various curvature and size. It causes incorrect shape of formed shell plates. The attached angle of template should be 90 degree to place template easily on forming shell plates. Currently, SHI has been applied GSCAD for ship manufacturing design process which is 3D solid modeling system. The GSCAD is the rule-based system which can automate 3D modeling and control the manufacturing data by rule. The rule can easily provide methods to create and automate template object with regular attached angle in comparison with AutoKon system. Therefore, SHI developed new template rule which it can automatically create template object with regular attached angle in GSCAD.

  • In this paper, we have proposed a system for creating business rules efficient in the market the SI industry. It has implemented a system that will have to be able to than to create a rule using the PPT and word simply, to proceed more smoothly communication of civil service staff and between developers. The system used in this paper, it was an object of the invention is to present a template, so as to create a document to match this template. The presented combined input tools to present a template for creating a document themes business rules to allow explicitly enter text in response to the template user.

Customized Configuration with Template and Options (맞춤구성을 위한 템플릿과 Option 기반의 추론)

  • In electronic catalogs, each item is represented as an independent unit while the parts of the item can be composed of a higher level of functionality. Thus, the search for this kind of product database is limited to the retrieval of most similar standard commodities. However, many industrial products need to configure optional parts to fulfill the required specifications. Since there are many paths in finding the required specifications, we need to develop a search system via the configuration process. In this system, we adopt a two-phased approach. The first phase finds the most similar template, and the second phase adjusts the template specifications toward the required set of specifications by the Constraint and Rule Satisfaction Problem approach. There is no guarantee that the most similar template can find the most desirable configuration. The search system needs backtracking capability, so the search can stop at a satisfied local optimal satisfaction. This framework is applied to the configuration of computers and peripherals. Template-based reasoning is basically the same as case-based reasoning. The required set of specifications is represented by a list of criteria, and matched with the product specifications to find the closest ones. To measure the distance, we develop a thesaurus of values, which can identify the meaning of numbers, symbols, and words. With this configuration, the performance of the search by configuration algorithm is evaluated in terms of feasibility and admissibility.

  • Changeable biometries has been suggested as a solution to the problems of enhancing privacy. In this paper, we proposed changeable biometrics for face recognition using on ICA based approach. ICA coefficient vector extracted from an input face image. The vector is scrambled randomly and a new face template is generated by addition of a couple of scrambled coefficients. When a transformed template is compromised, it is replaced by a new scrambling rule and addition.

  • 전자 카탈로그 상에서의 상품 검색은 카탈로그에 명시되어 있는 상품을 찾는 표준상품검색과 소비자가 원하는 상품을 맞춤 하는 맞춤상품검색으로 분류할 수 있다. 현재의 대부분의 상품 검색은 표준상품검색에 의존하고 있다. 특히 기업간 구성요소기반(Component-based) 상품의 경우 표준상품검색만으로는 구매자의 다양한 요구에 응하기가 어렵다. 따라서 웹 상의 전자 카탈로그에서의 동적인 맞춤검색에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 구성기반 상품에 대해서 표준상품검색만으로는 구매자가 원하는 상품의 검색가능성(Feasibility)과 검색된 대안들이 조정(Adjust) 프로세스 과정을 거쳐 최적해 도달 가능성(Admissibility)이 보장되지 않음을 보이고, 이에 대한 효과적인 방법론으로 검색가능성과 최적해 도달 가능성을 지원하는Template-based Reasoning 방법론을 제안 한다. Template-based Reasoning은 구매자의 요구사항에 따른 대안탐색 부분과 선택된 대안에 대한 조정과정의 두 단계로 이루어진다. 구매자의 주요 선호도(MUST Preference)에 근거하여 대안들을 탐색하고, 탐색 된 대안들 간의 우선순위를 결정한다. 조정 단계에서는 옵션(Options)의 확장을 통해 구매자의 맞춤사양에 따른 상품을 제안하고, 제약 및 규칙기반 추론(Constraint and Rule Satisfaction Approach)을 이용하여 옵션(Options)들 간의 제약조건에 따른 호환성(Compatibility)을 조사하고, 적정가격의 상품을 제안한다. 본 방법론은 Template을 사용하여 기본적으로 구매자가 원하는 상품을 검색하기 위한 검색노력을 줄이고, 검색된 대안들로부터 구매자와 시스템이 웹상에서 서로 상호작용(interactivity) 하여 해를 찾고, 제약조건과 규칙들에 의해 적합한 해를 찾아가는 방법을 제시한다. 본 논문은 구성기반 예로서 컴퓨터 부품조립을 사용해서 Template-based reasoning 예를 보인다 본 방법론은 검색노력을 줄이고, 검색에 있어 Feasibility와 Admissibility를 보장한다.

Feature Template-Based Sweeping Shape Reverse Engineering Algorithm using a 3D Point Cloud

  • This study develops an algorithm that automatically performs reverse engineering on three-dimensional (3D) sweeping shapes using a user's pre-defined feature templates and 3D point cloud data (PCD) of sweeping shapes. Existing methods extract 3D sweeping shapes by extracting points on a PCD cross section together with the center point in order to perform curve fitting and connect the center points. However, a drawback of existing methods is the difficulty of creating a 3D sweeping shape in which the user's preferred feature center points and parameters are applied. This study extracts shape features from cross-sectional points extracted automatically from the PCD and compared with pre-defined feature templates for similarities, thereby acquiring the most similar template cross-section. Fitting the most similar template cross-section to sweeping shape modeling makes the reverse engineering process automatic.

A Method of Generating Changeable Face Template for Statistical Appearance-Based Face Recognition (통계적 형상 기반의 얼굴인식을 위한 가변얼굴템플릿 생성방법)

  • Changeable biometrics identify a person using transformed biometric data instead of original biometric data in order to enhance privacy and security in biometrics when biometric data is compromised. In this paper, a novel scheme which generates changeable face templates for statistical appearance-based face recognition is proposed. Two different original face feature vectors are extracted from two different appearance-based approaches, respectively, each original feature vector is normalized, and its elements are re-ordered. Finally a changeable face template is generated by weighted addition between two normalized and scrambled feature vectors. Since the two feature vectors are combined into one by a two to one mapping, the original two feature vectors are not easily recovered from the changeable face template even if the combining rule is known. Also, when we need to make new changeable face template for a person, we change the re-ordering rule for the person and make a new feature vector for the person. Therefore, the security and privacy in biometric system can be enhanced by using the proposed changeable face templates. In our experiments, we analyze the proposed method with respect to performance and security using an AR-face database.

  • In this paper, discrete-time cellular neural networks are designed in order to function as associative memories by using Hebbian learning rule and non-cloning template. The proposed method has a very simple structure to design and to learn. Weights are updated by the connection between the neuron and its neighborhood. In the simulation, the proposed method is applied to the classification of a traffic sign pattern.

  • Changeable biometrics has been developed as a solution to problem of enhancing security and privacy. The idea is to transform a biometric signal or feature into a new one for the purposes of enrollment and matching. In this paper, we propose a changeable biometric system that can be applied to appearance based face recognition system. In the first step when using feature extraction, ICA(Independent Component Analysis) coefficient vectors extracted from an input face image are replaced randomly using their mean and variation. The transformed vectors by replacement are scrambled randomly and a new transformed face coefficient vector (transformed template) is generated by combination of the two transformed vectors. When this transformed template is compromised, it is replaced with new random numbers and a new scrambling rule. Because e transformed template is generated by e addition of two vectors, e original ICA coefficients could not be easily recovered from the transformed coefficients.

A Study on the Creation Rule of Reference Templates to Recognize Speech for Speaker-independent (불특정 화자의 음성 인식을 위한 표준음 설정 방법에 관한 연구)

  • It is very important that we create reference templates to recognize speech of speeker-independent as convergence as possible vocal tract variation of each speaker. We used to clustering technique for this and creation rule of reference templates to be cluster centers is key point of thema. In this paper, we created reference tempaltes using the minimax for existance and MMS technique suggested in this study. Also, we created reference template until top 3 and compared to recognition result. When we create 3 reference templates recognition rate is 91.6% for minimax and recognition rate is 95.8% for MMS.
