PDP Panel Alignment 정도 향상을 위한 상하판 고정용 클립 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Redesigning of a Fixing Clips for a PDP Panel Alignment)

  • Bonding glasses is one of the important PDP (Plasma Panel Display) manufacturing processes. Bonding process includes aligning front and rear glasses with fixing clips. In this process, clips have to maintain perfect alignment between the front and rear glasses. The panel which is fixed by clips goes to next process called sealing. The sealing process is performed in high temperature ($465^{\circ}C$). During sealing process, alignment is very important because it can affect seriously on the PDP screen quality. This study suggests redesigned clips to improve PDP panel alignment and also shows stabilization of clips in a high temperature during sealing process.

  • To investigate the effect of cholesterol in liposome on the stability of incorporated retinol, the physico-chemical experiments for various amounts of cholesterol-containing liposomes were performed. Liposome with retinol containing cholesterol was prepared as multilamella vesicles(MLVs) by dehydration/rehydration method. The incorporation efficiency of retinol into liposome was maximized as 99.31 % at 50:50 (phosphatidylcholine/cholesterol) at pH 9. The stability of incorporated retinol at low storage temperature was enhanced with increasing cholesterol content than at high storage temperature. For example, incorporated retinol in liposome at glycine buffer(pH 9} was degraded slowly during storage at 4. The degradation of retinol in liposomes was slower at pH 9 than at pH 7. These results supported that cholesterol in liposome increased largely the stability of incorporated retinol.

$CaF_2$ crystal growth for using optical components of laser

  • Large vacuum Bridgman-Stockbarger (BS) equipments was composed for growing large diameter CaF2 crystals. The CaF2 crystal of 4.5-inch was grown under the conditions of freezing temperature gradient of 12$^{\circ}C$/cm and growing rate of 3mm/hr. Also the 6-inch crystal was grown by using thermal stabilization method under freezing temperature gradient of 14$^{\circ}C$/cm and growing rate of 2mm/hr. The dislocation density was characterized for evaluating the quality of crystals. And the optical properties such as transmittance, refractive index and fluorescence were analyzed in order to investigate on the applications of optical components.

  • In order to investigate the water tree degradation behavior on XLPE cable, direct voltage of 200 to 800V has been applied to the material at 50$^{\circ}C$∼100$^{\circ}C$, and the water tree property has been correlated with voltage and temperature in this study. The leakage current was shown to increase as temperature increased and the Ohm's law was generally satisfied in this experiment though some experimental errors were found. The leakage current was shown to decrease and reach to the stable state with time. It was also shown that the time for the stabilization of leakage current was lessened as voltage increased

  • 저등급 석탄의 건조 후 안정화하기 위한 방법으로 탄화수소의 기상흡착에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 밀폐된 5 L의 데시케이터 용기에 건조 석탄과 안정화제를 넣고 주어진 온도에서 일정 시간 동안 유지시킨 후 석탄의 표면 특성과 자연발화 경향을 살펴보았다. 기상흡착 후 건조 석탄의 표면적은 미세기공을 중심으로 감소하였다. 흡착시간과 온도가 증가할수록 안정화 석탄의 자연발화 경향은 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 안정화제의 종류에 따른 자연발화 경향은 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. 분석 결과에 의하면 석탄의 0.5 wt% 이하인 소량 흡착으로 안정화 효과를 나타내는 것이 확인되었으며, 저온에서 기상흡착에 의한 안정화 현상은 저분자량의 탄화수소 흡착에 의한 것으로 나타났다.

Novel pH/Temperature Sensitive Hydrogels of Poly (ethylene glycol)-Poly (caprolactone) -Poly (${\beta}-amino\;ester$) (PAE-PCLA-PEGPCLA-PAE) Biodegradable Polyester Block Copolymer

  • Poly (ethylene glycol)(PEG) - Poly (${\varepsilon}-caprolactone(CL)$) - Poly (D,L lactide(LA) (PCLA-PEG-PCLA) was synthesized by ring-opening polymerization to form temperature sensitive hydrogel triblock copolymer. The triblock copolymer was acrylated by acryloyl chloride. ${\beta}-amino$ ester was used as a pH sensitive moiety, in this study ${\beta}$- amino ester obtained from 1,4-butandiol diacrylate, and 4, 4' trimethylene dipiperidine, it have pKb around 6.6. pH/temperature sensitive penta-block copolymer (PAE-PCL-PEG-PCL-PAE) was synthesized by addition polymerization from acrylated triblock copolymer, 1,4-butandiol diacrylate, and 4, 4' trimethylene dipiperidine. Their physicochemical properties of triblock and penta-block copolymers were characterized by $^1H-NMR$ spectroscopy and gel permeation spectroscopy. Sol-gel phase transition behavior of PAE-PCL-PEG-PCL-PAE block copolymers were investigated by remains stable method. Aqueous media of the penta-block copolymer (at 20 wt%) changed from a sol phase at pH 6.4 and $10^{\circ}C$ to a gel phase at pH 7.4 and $37^{\circ}C$. The sol-gel transition properties of these block copolymers are influenced by the hydrophobic/hydrophilic balance of the copolymers, block length, hydrophobicity, stereo-regularity of the hydrophobic of the block copolymer, and the ionization of the pH function groups in the copolymer depended on the changing of environmental pH, respectively. The degradation and the stabilization at pH 7.4 and $37^{\circ}C$, and the stabilization at pH 6.4 and $10^{\circ}C,\;5^{\circ}C,\;0^{\circ}C$, of the gel were determined. The results of toxicity experiment show that the penta block copolymer can be used for injection drug delivery system. The sol?gel transition of this block copolymer also study by in vitro test ($200{\mu}l$ aqueous solution at 20wt% polymer was injected to mouse). Insulin loading and releasing by in vitro test was investigated, the results showed that insulin can loading easily into polymer matrix and release time is around 14-16days. The PAE-PCL-PEG-PCL-PAE can be used as biomaterial for drug, protein, gene loading and delivery.

연료분출 조건에 따른 확산화염의 연소특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Combustion Characteristics of Diffusion Flame with the Fuel Injection Condition)

  • 본 연구에서는 연료분출각의 변화에 따라 보염기(cylindrical stabilizer) 후류에 형성되는 확산화염의 화염 안정성, 재순환영역의 길이 및 온도, 보염기 후류의 난류강도 분포, 재순환영역의 연소가스 농도 등을 측정하고, 화염의 직접사진 및 슐리렌사진을 촬영하여 확산화염의 연소특성을 고찰하였다. 화염안정성은 연료분출각과 주류공기 유속의 영향을 받으며, 재순환영역의 길이와 온도는 연료분출각의 영향을 받았다. 재순환영역의 길이가 짧고 온도가 낮을수록 화염안정성이 양호하지만, 연료분출각의 변화에 따른 난류강도 분포에는 별로 차이가 없었다. 재순환영역 내 미연가스 농도가 높고 이산화탄소 농도가 낮은 경우, 화염안정성은 양호하지만 연소상태는 불량한 것으로 나타났다. 연소효율, 고부하 출력, 대기환경, 연료의 청정연소조건 등을 고려하여 적절한 연료분출각을 선정함으로써 양호한 연소조건을 유지할 수 있다.

세슘 원자에 대한 레이저 냉각 및 온도 측정 (Laser cooling and temperature measurement of cesium atoms)

  • 레이저 냉각법을 이용하여 세슘 원자의 온도를 도플러 냉각 한계온도 보다 낮은 온도까지 냉각하였다. 자기-광 포획된 원자를 더 냉각하기 위해서는 냉각용 레이저의 주파수를 더 적색편이 시켜야 하는데, 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 세슘 원자 흡수선의 Zeeman 이동을 이용하였다. 이 방법으로 레이저 주파수 안정화를 유지하면서 레이저의 주파수를 약 40MHz 만큼 이동시킬수 있었다. 비행시간 방법으로 측정한 레이저 냉각된 세슘원자의 최저온도는 $2.2\muK$\pm$0.5$\muK$이었다. 냉각된 원자의 온도를 레이저의 주파수 및 세기에 따라 측정하였는데, 이광자 냉각 이론에 의한 계산결과와 잘 일치한다는 것을 알았다.

정전압 구동에 의한 레이저 다이오드의 광출력 안정화 (Optical power stabilization of a laser diode by constant voltage)

  • 주위온도에 따른 레이저다이오드의 광출력의 변화는 정전류로 구동하는 경우와 정전압으로 구동하는 경우에 서로 다르다. 레이저다이오드를 정전류로 구동하는 경우에는 온도증가에 따라 밀도반전이 감소하므로 광출력이 감소한다. 그러나 정전압으로 구동하는 경우에는 이러한 열효과에 의한 광출력의 감소이외에 내부저항과 임계전압의 감소에 의한 주입전류의 증가효과가 있어서 열효과를 일부 상쇄하므로 광출력의 변화가 정전류로 구동할 때보다 적다. 특히 정전압으로 레이저다이오드를 구동하는 경우에 이 두가지 효과에 의한 광출력의 변화폭이 비슷하여 서로 상쇄되는 동작점 부근에서는 온도에 따른 광출력의 변화가 아주 적어져 정전류로 구동하는 때보다 훨씬 광출력이 안정함을 실험적으로 확인하였다.

  • Recently, due to the rapid development of electric vehicle and energy storage system, it is emphasized for battery management system to be needed and to be improved. BMS carries out various movement for optimization the use of the energy and safe use of secondary battery, these movement of BMS start at high wattage shunt fixed resistor which performs a function for detecting current among the BMS components. In addition, for the safe operation of secondary battery, the reliability of current voltage variation detected from shunt should be secured, and for corresponding characteristics, the quality of Temperature coefficient of resistance for BMS shunt and the quality of Thermo electromotive force all must be excellent. For these reasons, this study comes up with the stabilization plan for thermo electromotive force and temperature coefficient of resistance of BMS shunt resistor which is key to secondary battery operation.
