The Electromagnetic Interference could occur due to power line on the telecommunication service. The Countermeasure is practised by legal law. Various affecting factors are described in the law. In this paper, an effect by pipeline especially in the ground, power feeding plant, and curved railway sector is analyzed as environmental factors which are not included in the law. By the practical measurement, it appears that the measured voltages on the spots with underground pipeline are grouped into lower voltage level, induced voltage tends to be high near power feeding plant, and also in the curved railway line. These analytical results can be meaningly considered in the application of countermeasure.

Due to the miniaturization of electrical components and assembles on signal and telecommunication circuits, transient overvoltages caused by switching operation or lightning surge has become more interesting concern to the field of electrical engineering. This paper describes the development of transient voltage blocking devices (TBDs) that can protect sensitive signal and telecommunication devices from overvoltages. Two kinds of TBDs are designed and tested by using a combination surge generator which can produce the standard impulse current of 8/20${\mu}$s 2.1kA according to the IEC 1000-4-5 standard. From the simulation and experimental reults, it is confirmed that the proposed TBD has an enough protection performance in low insertion loss and tight clamping voltage.

이동 Ad-hoc 무선망은 고정 라우터나 호스트, 무선 기지국에 관계없이 순수하게 무선기반의 인프라 구조로 구성된 망이다. 기존의 무선망 인프라는 기반 구축 비용이 많이 들고 기반구조가 파괴되었을 때 서비스 제공이 불가능한 단점이 있다. Ad-hoc 무선망은 이러한 단점을 보안하기 위해 라우팅 알고리즘을 구현하여 기존의 통신망보다 Ad-hoc 무선망을 이용하면 지진으로 인한 유.무선망의 통화단절 등을 막을 수 있고, 이동전화 품질서비스, 저렴한 가격, 떨어져 있는 동일 사업장내에서 무료 통화가 가능하여 이동통신 사업자에게 통신료를 지불할 필요가 없다. 본고에서는 이를 실현화 시킬 수 있는 알고리즘 개발과 시험을 통한 결과를 제시하고자 한다.

이 논문에서는 MPEG audio 알고리즘의 필터뱅크를 덧셈을 사용하여 저전력으로 구현할 수 있는 구조를 제안하였다. 제안된 구조는 CSD(Canonic Signed Digit) 형의 계수를 사용하며, 입력신호 샘플을 최대로 공유함으로서 사용되는 덧셈기의 수를 최소화하였다. 제안된 구조는 알고리즘에서 사용된 공통입력 공유, 선형위상 대칭 필터계수를 이용한 공유, 공통입력을 이용한 블록 공유, CSD 형의 계수와 공통패턴 공유를 통하여 사용되는 덧셈의 수를 최소화할 수 있음을 보였다. Verilog-HDL 코딩을 통하여 시뮬레이션을 수행한 결과, 제안된 구조는 기존의 곱셈기 구조의 구현면적과 비교하여 $59.6\%$를 감소시킬 수 있음을 보였다. 또한 제안된 구조의 전력소모도 곱셈기 구조와 비교하여 $59.6\%$를 감소시킬 수 있음을 보였다. 따라서 곱셈기가 내장된 DSP 프로세서를 사용하지 않고도, Arithmetic Unit나 마이크로프로세서를 사용하여 효과적으로 MPEG audio 필터뱅크를 구현할 수 있음을 보였다.

Planarization in multilevel metallization is very important to smooth out topographic undulations by conductors, dielectrics, contacts, and vias. One of methods for planarizing interdielectrics, such as the etchback process of the double layer composed of the photoresist on the interdielectric low temperature oxide was introduced. The step heights of interdielectrics before and after etch-back process was measured by Scanning Electron Microscope, and the degree of planarization was analyzed, comparing the differences of the step heights. In this experiment, the degree of planarization was controlled up to about 0.9.

정보화 시대를 살아가는 구성원중 하나인 청각 및 언어 장애인들의 경우, 정보 전달 및 소통이 필요한 일상 생활은 물론, 교육 현장에서도 어려움을 겪고 있는 것이 현실이다. 따라서 이러한 어려움을 극복하기 위해 장애인 보조 시스템의 개발이 진행되고 있으나 그 결과는 아직 미미하다. 본 논문은 청각 및 언어 장애인들에게 컴퓨터와의 상호 작용을 통해 정보 전달을 지원할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하여 더 나은 교육 환경을 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 즉, 사이버 공간에서 수화하는 아바타를 통해 정보를 전달하는 시스템을 설계하고 구축한다. 그 첫 번째 단계로써 입력 장치를 통해 받아들인 단어를 자소별로 변환한 뒤, 3D 지화 애니메이션으로 표현하였으며, 이 연구 결과는 수화 아바타 시스템의 기반이 될 것이다.

온게임 채팅 창에서 자주 사용되는 간단한 문장들을 게임 창에 옵션으로 두어 사용자들이 문장 선택에 따라 수화 동영상 아바타가 상대방 화면에 나오는 인터페이스를 추가한다. 이는 게임환경에서 동영상을 제공하며 친숙함을 더하는 한 층, 장애들이 사용하는 수화를 게임하면서 배울 수 있어 청소년들이 더불어 사는 사회에 한 걸음 더 나아갈 수 있게 하였다고 본다.

본 논문은 세포 내에 존재하는 방대한 단백질들 사이의 상호작용 관계 네트워크에서 생물학적인 의미 연관성을 가지는 부분 네트워크를 콤포지트로 추상화할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 이 추상화를 위해 네트워크에서 구조적으로 완전한 부분 네트워크, 개념적으로 인접한 부분 네트워크 그리고 두 조건을 모두 만족하는 부분네트워크를 탐색한다. 따라서, 사용자는 방대한 네트워크을 개념적인 관점에서 분석할 수 있으며, 특정한 의미을 가지는 부분 네트워크를 쉽게 검색할 수 있다.

초광대역 임펄스를 이용한 비파괴 지중 매설물 탐지용 지반 탐사 레이더(Ground penetrating image radar: GPR)를 개발하였다. 최대 탐사 깊이를 고려하여, 900 picosecond(ps) 상승 시간을 갖는 초광대역 임펄스를 설계하였고, 임펄스 발생기의 주파수 특성을 고려하여, 소형 평판형 다이폴 안테나가 설계되었다. 또한, 지중으로부터 반사되는 신호를 수신하기 위해서 고속의 A/D를 사용하였다. 측정은 송수신 안테나의 간격을 고정한 Bistatic 방식을 사용하였으며, 지중 매설물의 영상처리 판별을 위해 마이그레이션(migration) 기법을 사용하였다. 개발된 시스템은 금속 물체와 비금속 물체가 매설된 실증 시험장에서 시험되었고, 평면 해상도 및 깊이에 대한 해상도가 우수함을 보였다.
