Realistic Audio Teleconferencing using Binaural and Auralization Techniques

  • The goal of telecommunication may be to enable the participants in distant places to communicate with each other in an environment as if they were in the same room. This paper introduces the reason why realistic audio display is useful in telecommunication, reviews some approaches to its implementation, and proposes an audio teleconference model which realizes a two-way telecommunication with realistic sensations using binaural and auralization techniques.

  • This paper presents the design and simulation results of 7 waveguide dielectric rod array antennas for 7 channel DBF(Digital beamformer) receivers for stratospheric system. A waveguide. dielectric antenna type, which has FTEP(Flat-toped element pattern) to manufacture easily. Also, the calculated element patterns according to the permittivity are compared. The designed antenna will be used for generating multibeam radiation pattern by means DBF.

  • Recently, wireless repeater with interference rejection has been considered for the next generation repeater. In this paper, adaptive interference rejection module suppressing interference in the 3G band is proposed. A novel adaptive rejection scheme is proposed and it is partially implemented by FPGA devices.

  • 일반 전화뿐 아니라 xDSL 초고속서비스를 제공하는 가입자 통신선로는 옥외에 노출되어 있어 매년 우기철 낙뢰 피해가 발생하고, 통신선로에 접속된 단말장치는 낙뢰서지에 의한 부품 소손 및 서비스가 일시 중단되기도 한다. 낙뢰로 인해 가입자 통신선로에서 나타나는 낙뢰유도서지 특성을 파악하는 것은 통신시설 보호 및 서비스 중단을 최소화 할 수 있는 중요한 기초 자료가 된다. 본 논문은 가입자 통신시설에 나타나는 낙뢰유도전압을 측정하여 각종 파라메터 분석 및 가입자선로에 구성에 따른 파라메터 특성 변화를 분석하였다.

  • We attempt to get a probabilistic model of a queueing system in the maximum entropy condition. Applying the maximum entropy principle to the queueing system, we obtain the most uncertain probability model compatible with the available information expressed by moments.

  • The digital private line network provides synchronous data communications over dedicated facilities at several speeds. This service became available to several major metropolitan areas in 1986 with speeds of 4800, 9600, 56000 b/s. The network is expected to grow to include many city areas. In this paper, synchronization plan for the network is proposed.

  • This paper suggests a model for the economic evaluation and the selection of alternatives using teletraffic. Economic evaluation is analyzed by the comparison of revenue loss which happens without trunk extension and additional revenue which results from trunk extension. Simulation technique is used as a methodology to apply economic evaluation to telephone system. The study results will provide a support in a optimal decision about investment strategies.
