There have been dramatic technology changes in telecommunication sector during last two decades. New application services like the introduction of international mobile services, fiber optical home services and satellite personal services are expected to play a major role in the whole field of telecommunication services. In the users' viewpoint, the proper selection and the efficient application of the specific telecommunication service among the various alternatives at hand are recognized as principle means for ensuring the whole business competitiveness. Despite the definite need for the telecommunication service selection strategies, very few researches have been reported in this field. In this paper, attempts are made to identify the companies' decision factors considered in selecting the telecommunication services, to draw the strategic dimensions and categorize each company with respect to the identified dimensions, and to finally find the characteristics of each strategic group in selecting the telecommunication service.

광가입자망의 궁극적인 목표라 할 수 있는 FTTH 서비스가 일부 지역에서 시범사업이 진행되고 있고, 금년 8월부터는 KT가 PON을 이 용한 FTTH 서비스를 제공할 예정이다. FTTH 서 비스를 위해서는 전송장치 및 서비스 개발과 동시에 전화국사에서 가입자까지 이르는 전송매개체인 광선로시설에 대한 효율적이고, 경제적인 구축 기술을 필요로 하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 FTTH구축을 위해 소요되는 선로시설을 대상으로 기술적 특징을 조사 분석하고, 주요 시설별 기능요구사항 및 선로시설 구축에 요구되는 특성 등을 분석하였다.

In Korea we didn't have fundamental legal system on telecommunication until 'Communication Act'(Act No. 923) of Dec. 1961. After then, with rapid advances of technology and increases of request to telecommunication services in the field of telecommunication, circumstances around the telecommunication market have been changed. The market has been enlarged and slowed. Regulating of that field has been diverse and complex, Specially, as WTO went into effect, it's been recognized that standardization is more important for correspond to openness and liberalization in the field of telecommunication. In our country, national industry standardization began with 'Industry Standard Act of 1961', but it put mainly importance in manufacturing standard or industry standard till 1980's. Telecommunication standardization began to be active as TTA was set up in 1989. Now regulating rules to telecommunication standard are including 'the Fundamental Act of Information Promotion', 'Telecommunication Act', 'Act relating to Telecommunication Network Use Promotion, etc:, 'Software Industry Advancement Act','Knowledge Information Resource Act'. In this paper, we will survey regulating rules to telecommunication standard and Produce the future proposal to that.

Nowadays , The function of telecommunication contributes to maintaining the peace of the world, and the internetional cooperation in the communication field can not be emphasized too much. The pioneers in telecommunication field devoted their lives to the Infinite love for humanity. However, the modern communication system in our country was initiated, in the later part of the Lee-Dynasty, not for the international cooperation but for the invasive avarices of the neighbouring nations such as Japan and China. The true internationaL cooprration should be based on the love of humanity and the peace of the world such as the pionreers. This paper proposes to resoarch the historic process of initiation and development of the international organs relating to telecommunication as well as the intenational elecomunication network. Finally, I will make the foIlowing suggestions for the promotive direction of the true international coonperation, 1. Intensification of the radio administrative power 2. Promotion of the international cooperation on the man-power and economy in telecommunication field. 3. Establishment and Adjustment of the research institutes Of telecommunication. 4. The purpose of this paper is to examine whether there are relationships of substitutability or complementarity between the call demand of fixed telecommunication and mobile telecommunication services. In order to clarify the relationships, we suggest a model of call demand of fixed telecommunication service which incorporates the variables representing the diffusion of mobile telecommunications subscription and estimate it with relevant time series data. Finally it is shown that there is complementary relationship between the call demand of fixed telecommunication and mobile paging services, and it is also found that there is substitutable relationship between the long distance call demand of fixed telecommunication and mobile phone services.

현재 전화국 통신 시설물에 대한 상면 배치 및 배선의 설계와 공사 업무의 관리는 2차원 도면 설계 툴과 별도의 물자 산출 툴에 의해 수행되고 있다. 사용자 편의를 고려한 3차원 도면 설계 툴이 있기는 하지만 통신 시설물 공사에 최적화된 툴은 없으며 주로 기계 설계나 금형 설계 작업에서 부분적으로 사용되고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 실제 환경에 가까운 3차원 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스에 의한 도면 설계 기능, 설계된 도면 DB와 물자 단가 DB의 연동을 통한 소요 물자의 자동 산출 기능 등을 수행하는 시스템 모델의 개념을 제시하고 개발 현황을 소개하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 소개된 시스템을 통해 전화국 통신 시설물에 대한 설계와 공사 업무의 편리화, 자동화, 일원화를 이룰 수 있을 것이다.

This paper describes 256k (256K ${\times}$1) CMOS SRAM utilizing 1.2um double-polysilicon and double-metal CMOS process. A typical access time of 16ns with a 30-pF load has been achieved through the use of a block architecture, a new decoder, an unique bit-line scheme and an optimized process. Operating current is 55mA at 40MHz and 15mA at 10MHz. A high-resistive polysilicon load has been used to achieve a standby current of 3uA.
