Information technology is a useful strategic weapon that can create competitive advantage and new business opportunity by applying it in the organization' value chain. IT convergence can be understood as an attempt of industrial level IT adoption to facilitate the innovation of the industry and the birth of a new industry. This study provides the comprehensive review of the Korean government' three IT assimilation programs, ubiquitous technology diffusion program of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, u-service program of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, and u-Defence cooperation program of the Department of Defense. The analysis is done through the interpretation of the existing literature and the logic model. The result proposes inter-agency cooperation and building of new technology road-map in the planning stage, flexible management in the execution phase, and failure tolerant evaluation system. The proposal for developing competencies and institutional foundations for IT convergence also presented.

During the last three decades power electronics has gone through energetic technical evolution. The technical needs from wide area such as in industrial, commercial, consumer, aerospace and environmental applications have driven the environment favorably for the power electronics. In the future, two extreme technology-expansion trends are expected: one into low power, and the other into very high power. The former is based on the high frequency and the circuit miniature using VLSI circuit and surface mounting aiming for the system-on-chip (SOC) technology. The latter includes the application areas of power utility such as HVDC, FACTS and SVC and large science area of electrophsycal apparatus such as thermonuclear fusion, acclerators, and electric guns. This paper describes the technology status of some major elements which are available today and the key roles of the power electronics from view points of applications. The author would like to take this opportunity to raise discussions about the future technology development trend of power electronics in our country with the fellow power electronics engineers.

Due to Thailand's nuclear energy public acceptance problem, the understanding of nuclear energy public perception was the key factor affecting to re-consideration of the nuclear energy program. Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology and its alliances together developed the classification model for the nuclear energy public perception from the big data comments on social media using Facebook using deep transfer learning. The objective was to insight into the Thailand nuclear energy public perception on Facebook social media platform using sentiment analysis. The supervised learning was used to generate up-to-date classification model with more than 80% accuracy to classify the public perception on nuclear power plant news on Facebook from 2009 to 2022. The majority of neutral sentiments (80%) represented the opportunity for Thailand to convince people to receive a better nuclear perception. Negative sentiments (14%) showed support for other alternative energies due to nuclear accident concerns while positive sentiments (6%) expressed support for innovative nuclear technologies.

Rapid advancements in analytical instrumentations and techniques in the last several decades offer an unprecedented opportunity to analyze the complex chemistry and probe the surfaces for chemical evidence. Recent developments in nanotechnology provide further ability to examine phenomena and mechanisms at the nanometer level. As a result of these advances, our understanding of the complex lubrication system has improved significantly. This paper will attempt to provide a molecular basis of how lubricant and additives function in lubrication.

전력 증폭기 모듈 패키지 산업은 전방산업의 경기에 매우 큰 영향을 받고 종속성이 높은 산업이므로 수요처인 중계기, 기지국, 무선네트워크 구축 장비 업체의 수급 동향, 기술변화, 경영환경변화, 판매실적 등에 민감하게 반응하는 수요구조로 되어 있다. SWOT 분석결과 전력 증폭기 모듈설계 노하우와 하이브리드 전력 증폭기를 개발할 수 있는 강점과 군수용으로 응용 분야 확대 및 5G 상용화의 기회를 활용하여 사업 기회를 선점하는 사업전략 수립이 필요하다. 산업구조 분석결과 구매자의 교섭력이 높으므로 전방산업에 배치된 수요기업과의 전략적이고 긴밀한 협력관계를 유지하기 위한 전략을 추진해야 한다.

A fuzzy mathematical model is presented that can be applied to support the inspection of organizations by an internal or external evaluation group. The model offers the opportunity to deal with the situation of common practice in which such evaluations are considered as a time series rather than single events. A hypothetical but realistic example is given to illustrate the computational procedure involved.
