Primary school is regarded as an important period when many health-related behaviors and life-styles begin to be formed. Acquiring them through school heath education has a strong influence on the health promotion of not only the family but also the community. Primary school health education in Korea has a systematic flaw in that health-related subjects are divided and taught under various subjects in primary school. In order to develop a proper school health curriculum, it is essential to assess what is currently being taught. In this study the current health education of the 6th grade primary curriculum was investigated to improve school health education. The purpose of this study is to identify the health education contents and time in textbooks of the 6th grade primary school curriculum. In this study, the textbooks & teacher's teaching manuals of the 6th grade curriculum were analyzed with a health instruction framework for Korean schools developed by the Korean Nurse Association & Korean School Health Education Association in 1993 and health care framework for health education curriculum presented by Kim in 1991. The results are as follows ; 1) Health education hours of the curriculum are 206 hours, about 34.3 hours a year. 2) The contents of health education were divided into nine subjects at primary schools. Organizing principles of learning experience(eg, integrity, sequence and continuity) were not considered sufficiently. The physical education & natural science subjects include a lot of health education contents. 3) The major content areas are community & environmental health areas and daily healthy life areas. 4) The major areas at each grade level are daily healthy concerns and safety & first-aid 5) The remarkable contrast to the 5th primary school curriculum are that environmental health is offered to the first grade step by step, and that drug use & abuse and mental health education are included in the 6th primary school curriculum. 6) The main contents of health education in 1st, 2nd. and 3rd grade curricula consist of treatment & recovery health functions. Those of the 4th grade curriculum consist of treatment & recovery health functions, and daily healthy life functions. Those of the 5th grade consist of growth & development functions. Those of the 6th grade consist of treatment & recovery health, growth & development functions. Most health care functions belong to physical health care. The results above suggest that we put together the divided contents of health education and manage them on the basis of systematic integration.
Based on the previous reports that majority of teachers have negative perceptions on food additives, a teacher training program called 'Let's teach food additives correctly' was developed and applied to improve teachers' unbalanced perception on food additives and let them teach students with sound scientific background. The 15-hours training program consisted of understanding of food safety and food additives, education materials on food additives, development of teaching-learning plan, meeting with professionals from Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), visiting MFDS labs, application to school class, and evaluation. A total of 63 teachers participated in the training through 2 sessions conducted in August 2016. As a result, teachers showed high satisfaction rates (4.2~4.5 in 5.0-Likert scale) and 91.5% answered the training helpful for the school class. Although their initial intention to participate the training was to know the details of negative intake effects of food additives, their such perception was totally changed in addition, they suggested a continuous training for teachers and immediate correction of incorrect information in school textbooks. Also, post-training education for 1,172 students by these teachers appeared to improve the understanding of and the native perceptions on food additives significantly (p < 0.001). Above results showed that the training program could solve the problem of transmitting unbalanced information on food additives to students by training teachers, and such channel could be used to facilitate food-related risk communication.

In this paper, we propose an Sound Event Detection (SED) model using self-training based on a noisy student model. The proposed SED model consists of two stages. In the first stage, a mean-teacher model based on an Residual Convolutional Recurrent Neural Network (RCRNN) is constructed to provide target labels regarding weakly labeled or unlabeled data. In the second stage, a self-training-based noisy student model is constructed by applying different noise types. That is, feature noises, such as time-frequency shift, mixup, SpecAugment, and dropout-based model noise are used here. In addition, a semi-supervised loss function is applied to train the noisy student model, which acts as label noise injection. The performance of the proposed SED model is evaluated on the validation set of the Detection and Classification of Acoustic Scenes and Events (DCASE) 2020 Challenge Task 4. The experiments show that the single model and ensemble model of the proposed SED based on the noisy student model improve F1-score by 4.6 % and 3.4 % compared to the top-ranked model in DCASE 2020 challenge Task 4, respectively.

The study examined the effects of individual, family, and environmental factors on adolescents' self-esteem. Individual factors were the adolescents' health status and their leisure activity experiences, while the family factors were families' socio-economic status(SES) and parenting styles. Three environmental factors focusing on the adolescents' school environment were studied, and they consisted of academic attachment, peer attachment, and teacher attachment. The study inquiries were as follows: which individual factors had an effect on the adolescents' self-esteem? Which family factors had an effect on the adolescents' self-esteem? Which environmental factors had an effect on the adolescents' self-esteem? Of all the factors considered in this study, which factors had the greatest effect on adolescents' self-esteem? This study used data from the 3rd Korean Child and Youth Panel survey of Korean students in the first grade of middle school, and the data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis using SPSS 18.0. The results were as follows: the most important factor that have an effect on adolescents' self-esteem was parenting style, while peer attachment, health status, and academic attachment were also found to significantly affect adolescents' self-esteem. In the conclusion, the researchers suggest various strategies based on results of the analysis to improve adolescents' self-esteem.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of multicultural competence on the organizational effectiveness of multicultural competence through the questionnaire survey of 327 kindergarten teachers attending C university in Seoul, Statistics were made using IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0. The results of this study are as follows: First, the relationship between multicultural differentiation and multicultural knowledge, national identity, multicultural differentiation, relationship between multicultural awareness and willingness of multiculturalism, relationship between multicultural knowledge and organizational adaptability, relationship between multicultural awareness and organizational adaptability, There was a positive relationship between the relationship between organizational productivity, the relationship between multicultural differentiation and organizational productivity, and the relationship with global citizenship behavior. Second. Only multicultural awareness has an effect on organizational adaptability and organizational productivity. Therefore, in order to improve the organizational effectiveness of the nursery in the era of convergence, it is necessary for the nursery teachers to have an education program related to multicultural awareness in connection with organizational adaptability and organizational productivity, which are subordinate factors of organizational effectiveness.
The purpose of this study was to examine the experiences of participation in the educational community through cooperative relationships between early childhood teachers and researchers in early childhood mathematics education using storytelling, and to find out the meaning of those experiences. Reputable researchers began with the formation of the educational community on March 14, 2016, and continued until July 26, 2016, and collected transcripts of discussions of educational community meetings, reflective journal data of teachers and researchers, and transcript of individual interviews by teachers. As a result of the study, first, the experience of participating in the educational community in early childhood mathematics education using storytelling shared personal mathematics experiences and mathematical situations, understood and learned mathematics content knowledge through sharing, and communicated through the educational community. The purpose of this study is to clarify conceptually the difference of instructional coaching, instructional supervision, and instructional consulting by analyzing their own characteristics. The practices for instructional improvement are common in that fundamental objectives are improvement of instruction and development of teacher's professionalism in instruction. However, each area changed according to the social flow and the demands of the educational field and created a unique activity system. So, in order to get rid of this mixed use of these terms, it is meaningful to distinguish the concepts, attributes, and areas of each activity. The specific study questions were 1) what is the origin of coaching, supervision, and consulting? 2) how are instructional coaching, instructional supervision, and instructional consulting defined in existing research in korea? 3) how can we conceptually distinguish instructional coaching, instructional supervision, and instructional consulting? Based on reviewing various existing studies, First, this study investigated the conceptual origins and lexicons of coaching, supervision, and consulting, respectively, in addition reviewd the prior studies conducted in Korea with regard to instructional coaching, instructional supervision, and instructional consulting, and summarized how each concept is defined according to the researcher. Second, this study compared each two concept with another one. Finally, the existing definitions of instructional coaching, instructional supervision, and instructional consulting were analyzed to find out the inherent and common attributes of each concept. In conclusion, this study suggest that the concept of instructional consulting needs to be redefined to better reflect the characteristics of activities, and that studies that rethink the relationship between instructional coaching and instructional supervision are needed.

This study aims to analyze what elementary school pre-service teachers focused on and what challenges they faced in designing and producing a guided science inquiry program based on augmented reality (AR) and to provide some implications for teachers' professionalism and teacher education. To this end, focusing on the cases of pre-service teachers who designed and created AR-based guided inquiry programs, the researchers extracted and categorized the pre-service teachers' focus and challenges from the program design and production stages. As a result, in the program design stage, the pre-service teachers tried to construct scenarios that could promote students' active inquiry process. At the same time, drawing on the unique affordances of AR, the pre-service teachers focused on creating vivid visual data in a 3D environment and making meaningful connections between virtual and real-world activities. The pre-service teachers faced challenges in making use of the advantages of AR technology and designing an inquiry program due to a lack of background knowledge about CoSpaces, a content creation program. In the program production stage, the pre-service teachers tried to make their program easy to handle to improve students' concentration on inquiry activities. In addition, challenges of programming using CoSpaces were reported. Based on these results, educational implications were discussed in terms of the pedagogical uses of AR and teachers' professionalism in adopting AR in science inquiry.
