According to the analysis of volcanic observation data around Korean peninsula, the activities of volcano increase continuously. For example, the volcanic eruption of Mt. Sakurajima is an example, and Mt. Baekdu can be another example potentially. In these regards, developing unified system including realtime prediction and 3D visualization of volcano ash are important to prepare the volcanic disaster systematically. In this technical report, an interactive simulator embedding dispersion algorithm and 3D visualization engine is developed. This system can contribute to the realtime prediction of volcanic disaster scientifically.

The number of business incubator (BI), introduced in Korea in the early 90's, has grown rapidly in the last 10 years, reaching 342 by 2002. Most of the incubator was supported financially by the Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA), and 83% of them are run by college or university. To develop successful plans for college business incubator, we studied the relationship between a college incubator and its tenants through a systematic questionnaire, and compared royalty systems of four college BI's. It was found out that the tenants wants more flexible advisor system and closer relationship with the professors to solve the technical difficulties. The royalty system is important for BI's to survive without the financial assistance from the government, but the royalty systems of the four college BI's studied in this report have some practical shortcomings and needs amendments.

Latissimus dorsi tendon transfer is a well-established method for treatment of irreparable posterosuperior rotator cuff tears. We report on an anterolateral mini-open technique with a porcine dermal patch augmentation for latissimus dorsi tendon transfer. Use of this technique would result in avoidance of deltoid damage by anterolateral mini-open approach and reduction of failure rate by patch augmentation.

Recently, LVDC(Low Voltage Direct Current) has been came into the newly spotlight with HVDC(High Voltage Direct Current) and as increasing digital load, DC power supply and high quality of demand is also getting extended. In accordance with the report of EPRI(Electric Power Research Institute), they expect digital load will grow to 50% of whole load in 2020. Subsequently, the use of DC equipment will grow dramatically. Therefore, the careful adoption of LVDC standardization policy is urgently required for the safety of people, prevention of confusion and occupancy of the market.

The aim of the present study is to explore the following two key questions on woman's attitude toward the clothing : (1) Their willingness to make their own dress at home : (2) purchasing tendencies of ready-made wear. The data were drawn through questionaires collected form 495 women in random sampling-335 housewives and 160 high school woman teachers living in Seoul. The findings are ; 1. As a whole there is no significant difference between the teachers and the housewives in their attitudes on clothing and home dressmaking. 2. Teachers and housewives alike have shown the tendency to avoid to take the trouble to make their own dresses themselves due, in large measure, to the technical difficulties of dressmarking. 3. On account of general shortcomings of ready-made clothing such as poor quality cloth, casual workmanship, inadequate assortment, unfitness of size to figure and outdated fashion, they purchase ready-made only for casual uses and really resort to tailor made for formal dresses. Since this paper is preliminary report, the accounts are to intend to be suggestive rather than conclusive, and more detailed and profound must, of course, await further empirical research.

We report the preparation and properties of polymer paste solutions with CNTs using conventional paste forming process. Electrospinning has been used for the fabrication of nano-fiber composite. In this process, dispersion of CNTs is very important matter. So, we emphasize the necessity of dispersion of CNTs in the solution and investigate effects of process parameters of electrospinning. The advantage of simple electrospinning process will be discussed..

For the purpose of processing weather data for air conditioning equipment de sign in Busan area Korea, this study collected weather observations made by Busan weather Administration from 1970 to 2003, and then established external conditions for heating and air-conditioning design. For changes of temperature in external conditions for design, the highest temperature had little changed, whereas the lowest had been on the rise as the years went by through the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s, but insolation has a little lessened. Absolute humidity does not show a significant change but an incessant rise.

The Akin osteotomy is a complimentary procedure in hallux valgus surgery. Surgical techniques may vary depending on the operators or fixation devices. Suture fixation, for which a removal procedure is not necessary, can often be recommended. However, there is a risk of failure due to the thin cortex of the phalanx. We describe a new technique using Ethibond suture fixation in Akin osteotomy, which can lower the risk of phalangeal cortical failure and articular cartilage irritation. First, the Akin osteotomy was performed on the proximal phalanx 5 to 6 mm distal to the first metatarsophalangeal joint. Then bone holes were drilled from dorsum to plantar parallel to osteotomy with the Kirschner wire. The final procedure involved passing the Ethibond sutures connected to a straight needle through the holes and tying it. This fixation method offers an effective and easy technique for performance of Akin osteotomy.

Computer Forensics becomes the method for recovery, preservation, analysis and report regarding digital evidence essential to resolve the legal dispute and computer crime. In this paper, the developmental process of Computer Forensics is discussed. It is intended to elicit constructive discussion regarding the domestic Computer Forensics. And this discussion will be of help to establish the secure e-business and e-government services in the field of the research, legal system and technical skill of domestic Computer Forensics.
