Development of TIM Module for Construction PDM (PDM 구축을 위한 TIM 모듈개발)

  • In this paper, development of TIM Module for constructing PDM will be introduced. Technical information relevant product data influences cost, quality, precision and productivity. One of the very important feature of product data is organizing not by oneself but very closed to many technical information such as document, file, image and analysis sheet. To manage various technical information, several kinds of management system are used in multi level of production system. PDM and TIM systems are being developed for suitable purpose and are in need of Network technology, Information Technology, Database, sharing and distributing information. Developed TIM system is based on Web environment. By using this system, we can manage systematic technical information and reduce cost for constructing PDM system. And also we will put to practical use another technical information management system for mold plant.

  • In recent years, Levitated transportation systems have been studied in many countries, Most vehicles used for these systems are driven by linear motors and are levitated magnetically. The magnetic train HDMAG-01 is a proto-type vehicle for low-speed in the range of 100cm/S. This paper presents an outline of the drawing, the testing and its results, describes theoretical models used and compares between computer simulation and test result.

  • We present nanoactuators and nanodetectors for high-precision Micro Electro Mechanical System (MEMS) applications. Major technical difficulties in the high-precision MEMS are arising from the fabrication uncertainty and electrical noise problems. In this paper, we present high-precision actuators and detectors, overcoming the technical limitations placed by the conventional MEMS technology. Fabrication Uncertainty and Noise Issues in High-Precision MEMS Actuators and Sensors

  • We present technical issues involved in the development of actuators and sensors for applications to high-precision Micro Electro Mechanical System (MEMS). The technical issues include fabrication uncertainty and noise disturbance, causing major difficulties for MEMS to achieve high-precision actuation and detection functions. For nano-precision actuators, we solve the fabrication instability and electrical noise problems using digital actuators coupled with nonlinear mechanical modulators. For the high-precision capacitive sensors, we present a branched finger electrodes using high-amplitude anti-phase sensing signals. We also demonstrate the potential applications of the nanoactuators and nanodetectors to high-precision positioning MEMS.

  • VOCs(Volatile Organic Compounds) have been recently enacted by several regulations to the environment since the end of 1990's. So, it need to control emissions of VOCs from industrial cite. VOC controls include all technologies which either collect the VOCs for recovery and reuse or destroy the VOCs. In this study, the VOC control technical trend was searched. Additionally, it was compared to the number of patent along to the year in Korea.

Polarization Maintaining Dichroic Beam-splitter and Its Surface Shape Control by Back Side AR Coating

  • Dichroic beam-splitter (DBS) with polarization-maintaining took an important role in the free space quantum telecommunication tests on the Micius satellite of China. In this presentation, we designed and prepared a 50 layer polarization-maintaining DBS coating by a dual ion beam sputtering deposition (Dual-IBS) method. In order to solve a stress problem, an 18 layer special anti-reflection (AR) coating with similar physical thickness ratio was deposited on the backside. By stress compensation, the surface flatness RMS value of the DBS sample decreased from 0.341 λ (@632.8 nm) to 0.103 λ while beam splitting and polarization maintaining properties were almost kept unchanged. Further, we discussed the mechanism of film stress and stress compensation by equation deduction and found that total stress had a strong relationship with the total physical thickness and the ratio of layer materials.
