  • Although the start-up companies in the manufacturing industry have a great job creation effect, there is a lack of research on start-up and development in the manufacturing industry. Using a sample of 201 in manufacturing start-up companies, we proposed that founder's experience and technical competencies will positively influence performance in manufacturing star-up companies. We also proposed that founder's technical competence will mediate the relationship between founder's experience and performance. The results of this study supported most of our hypotheses, implying that founder's experience and technical competence could be crucial especially in the beginning stage of manufacturing start-up companies.

  • Purpose - The paper aims at testing the moderating effect of individualism dimension of culture on consumer behavioural intention about bank services in Nigeria. Research design, data, and methodology - A survey was conducted with a sample of five hundred and fifty five bank customers drawn from various retails banks. Using Statistical Package for Social Sciences and Analysis of Moment Structure, combinations of descriptive and inferential statistics were performed. Invariance test and multiple-group analysis were conducted in order to assess the moderating effect. The invariance test was necessary to confirm the equivalence of constructs so that any difference detected thereafter could be related to moderating effect. Results - The results show that individualism has a significant moderating effect on the relationship between technical quality, perceived value and corporate image on the one hand, and behavioural intention on the other. However, individualism does not moderate the association between functional quality and behavioral intention. Conclusions - It is recommended that the bank policy makers should take necessary step to enhance the customer perception of technical quality, perceived value and corporate image with respect the retail bank services.

  • In order to study the effect of rubber particle size and admixture on the frost resistance of self-compacting concrete, three self-compacting concrete specimens with equal volume replacement of fine aggregate by rubber particles of different particle sizes were prepared, while conventional self-compacting concrete was made as a comparison specimen. The degradation law of rubber aggregate self-compacted concrete under freeze-thaw cycles was investigated by fast-freezing method test. The results show that the rubber aggregate has some influence on the mechanical properties and freeze-thaw durability of the self-compacting concrete. With the increase of rubber aggregate, the compressive strength of self-compacting concrete gradually decreases, and the smaller the rubber aggregate particle size is, the smaller the effect on the compressive strength of the matrix; rubber aggregate can improve the frost resistance of self-compacting concrete, and the smaller the rubber particle size is, the more obvious the effect on the improvement of the frost resistance of the matrix under the same dosage. Through the research of this paper, it is recommended to use 60~80 purpose rubber aggregate and the substitution rate of 10% is chosen as the best effect.

  • The properties of paper are very susceptible to moisture content originated from relative humidity. This propensity of PVA impregnated paper was investigated in this study. Especially the hardening effect of borax treatment after PVA impregnation on the response of paper sample to the relative humidity was evaluated. When the moisture content was increased with the relative humidity, tensile stretch and tear resistance were increased while tensile strength and stiffness were decreased. A great increase in folding endurance of PVA impregnated paper sample was found at the higher relative humidity. The borax treatment could reduce the response of PVA impregated paper to the relative humidity.

The subject of this study was five male weight lifting players who have been engaged in Korean Delegation Team. The institution of exercise target was made through two times qualitative analysis and the result of studying for the effect of the field adaptation was produced before offering feedback. Moreover, two time analysis added after offering feedback. All analysis was based on 2-D visual analysis. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Maximal barbell moving speed in starting phase was decreased after offering feedback. This result implies advancement of technical skills after offering feedback. 2. From starting posture to 앉아받기, forward and backward moving distance of hip joint was decreased after offering feedback in all subjects. This result represents advancement of technical skills after offering feedback. 3. In terms of pull phase, forward and backward moving distance of hip and shoulder joint was decreased after offering feedback in all subjects. This result represents advancement of technical skills after offering feedback. 4. In terms of pull phase, the difference of horizontal value of coordinates was decreased after offering feedback in all subjects. This result represents advancement of technical skills after offering feedback. 5. In terms of pull phase, the motion range of hip joint was decreased after offering feedback in three of five subjects and this represents advancement of technical skills after offering feedback. However, the rest of them were not variable or narrow decreasing. This result represents that feedback system could not brought tremendous effects. 6. From apex point of barbell to 앉아받기, the difference of barbell height was decreased after offering feedback in three of five subjects and this represents advancement of technical skills after offering feedback. However, the rest of them weren't variable or narrow increasing. This result represents that feedback system could not brought tremendous effects. 7. In terms of last-pull phase, the angular velocity of knee joint was increased after offering feedback in four of five subjects and this represents advancement of technical skills after offering feedback. However, the rest of them, only one subject, decreased. This result represents that feedback system could not brought tremendous effects. 8. In terms of last-pull, the conversional tendency of maximal extension to flextion came out all but simultaneously without offering feedback in four of five subjects. This is well-performed technique. Only one subject, however, could not use power effectively because the fact that his maximal extension came out in serial, from ankle to knee and waist means dispersion of power. In addition to, after offering feedback, only one subject made increasing the maximal extension of knee in last-pull and this result represents advancement of skills after offering feedback. However, the rest of them could not make meaningful development after offering feedback. 9. It might be assumed that searching for technical merits and demerits of each weight lifting player through qualitative motion analysis system could improve player's skill.

  • For the semiconductor device safety from over current in the digital electronic circuit system must be surely designed that it's surface mount type micro fuse device. In this paper, We has analysed to the fusing character of micro fuse as a function changed thickness of thermosetting ink epoxy. To the change of thermosetting ink epoxy thickness with in production lot, in the electrically character (fusing test in the 2 multiple over current and 10 multiple over current, surface temperature test in the 1.25 multiple over current) of micro fuse has been tested. According to the electrically character result, changed thickness of thermosetting ink epoxy in designed micro fuse withheld direct effect in both end resistance changes. Also, because high thermal energy in the micro fuse test of over current was occurred to effect such as thermal runaway and explosion. Therefore, screen printing process in the design of micro fuse using thermosetting ink epoxy is very important for production quality improvement.

  • In order to explain the effect of alloying Cu on the corrosion resistance of stainless steels in chloride media for both ferritic and austenitic stainless steels, the corrosion behavior of Cu-bearing stainless steels was investigated. Alloying Cu showed beneficial effect in an active potential range and harmful effect in a noble potential range. The beneficial effect of alloying Cu was explained by the stability of deposited Cu on an anodic surface. Difference in the effect of alloying Cu between the ferritic and austenitic steels was ascribed by the differences in their corrosion potentials and the morphology of the deposited Cu.

  • Micro inorganic solids and dissolved materials contained in the white water of linerboard process was obtained by centrifugation, and their characteristics were analyzed along with their effects on the mechanical properties of linerboard. Micro inorganic materials had little influence on tensile index and ZDT of UKP sheets. They showed rather a positive effect on mechanical properties of KOCC sheets due to adsorbed polymer. Mechanical properties of KOCC sheets decreased remarkably when the concentration of dissolved materials increased especially above 4000 ppm.
