우리나라 근해대형트롤어선의 선교 환경과 업무가 선교팀의 피로도와 신체이상에 미치는 영향 (Effects on bridge team's work fatigue and body abnormality by bridge environment and tasks of Korean coastal large trawlers)

  • This study carried out and analyzed survey data on captains and mates of Korean coastal large trawlers in order to examine factors affecting body abnormalities and fatigue on bridge teams from work and environment at bridges of trawlers. The summarized result may be summed up as follows: multiple regression analysis with body pain and fatigue as dependent variables yields t-values of -2.559 (p<0.05) and -3.928 (p<0.05) respectively. From the result, environment at bridges (views, spaces and exhaust) were negative factors in affecting bridge workers' pain and fatigue. Thus, it is determined to secure available spaces to improve the workers' views through windows in front of, besides and rear bridge and create more pleasant atmospheric environment at bridge.

기업용 소프트웨어 영업 인력 영업 성과의 영향 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors Affecting the Sales Performance of Business Software Salespersons)

  • This study identifies and validates the factors that affect sales performance of salespersons in the business software industry. In the study, in order to measure the dependent variable (performance of the salesperson) more comprehensively, multiple items are utilized and both outcome and behavior indicators are used. Independent variables are identified based on the classification of Verbeke et al. [(2011] including sales related knowledge, degree of adaptiveness, role ambiguity, and work engagement. Results of the hypotheses testing show that 'sales related knowledge' and 'work engagement' are statistically significant factors, but 'degree of adaptiveness' and 'role ambiguity' are not. This study has a few limitations and future research direction to overcome the limitation is suggested : use of both perceptions of the salesperson and objective measures in measuring the related variables; study including cognitive ability; analyses of the factors across various types of software companies; and analyses of the factors on the team level.

  • Hazard identification is one of the most important task in process design and operation. This work has focused on the development of a knowledge-based expert system for HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies which are regarded as one of the most systematic and logical qualitative hazard identification methodologies but which require a multidisciplinary team and demand much time-consuming, repetitious work. The developed system enables design engineers to implement existing checklists and past experiences for safe design. It will increase efficiency of hazard identification and be suitable for educational purposes. This system has a frame-based knowledge structure for equipment failures/process material properties and rule networks for consequence reasoning which uses both forward and backward chaining. To include wide process knowledge, it is open-ended and modular for future expansion. An application to LPG storage and fractionation system shows the efficiency and reliability of the developed system.

Click Profile형태, 결합강도와 국제특허를 중심으로 분석한 클릭형 강화마루의 특성 (Characteristics of Click Laminate Flooring Base on Click Profile Shape, Locking Strength and International Patent)

  • The objective of this work was to research click profile of laminate flooring by comparison of click and bonding laminate floorings, especially base on the click profile shape, bonding strength and international patents. Non-glue locking system has been used since laminate flooring was developed. For the reason of environment and saving installation time, the manufacturer in Europe and USA has developed click profile for laminate flooring. Each manufacturer has patent on each click profile. Although each click profile has good lock strength as shape, Berryand Unilin company's click profile systems showed higher locking strength than others. Korean laminate flooring company pay the fee of patent for using European and American manufacturer's click profile. From this work, we grope Korean style laminate flooring and click profile through research on the click profile shape, bonding strength and patents of European and American manufacturers.

  • Tower cranes are essential equipments that play a key role in the overall process of large-scale construction projects, as well as high-rise apartments construction projects. Tower cranes hoist various loads near and over people, working in crowded environments, sometimes in overlapping work areas, and often under the constraints of time, budget, and labor. This work system further increases the safety risks of sites with inherently hazardous workplaces. The methodology of this research was based on a comprehensive inquiry of a team of experts, including safety managers and equipment managers of major construction companies and previous literature search. Due to the limited resources available to improve safety and prevent accidents, more attention should be paid to all parties involved in factors that have been evaluated to have a significant impact on site safety due to tower crane operations.

  • Due to dramatic changes in the trend of corporate management in economics, labor and government, companies are being asked to adapt creative and innovative organizational culture in order to keep sustainability. Under the circumstances, flexible working hour becomes one of very effective method for organization culture improvement. Recently, M company has introduced the new policy of working hours that employees can choose a couple of different time options depending on their personal situations. And it turns out to be very effective to work & life balance, increasing organizational vitality, improving efficiency of business and productivity, recruitment of core human resources, and prevention of deviation; both team and personal performance levels has significantly improved. Therefore, it is highly recommended to adapt flexible working policies for companies seeking for a long term, sustainable corporate vision.

효과적 스마트워크 도입을 위한 핵심요소 및 구현 전략 (The Core Elements and Implementation Strategy for Adopting Smart Work)

  • 저출산, 고령화 사회 진입 등 사회문화적 환경 변화에 대응코자 최근 스마트워크 도입에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 스마트워크는 정보통신기술을 활용하여 시간과 장소의 제약 없이 동료 직원들과 원활하게 협업하고 끊김 없이 업무를 수행하는 근로 형태로서 원격근무, 재택근무 또는 스마트워크 센터근무 등의 형태로 구현된다. 그러나 이러한 관심에도 불구하고 도입 추진 1년이 지난 지금 일부 기업들은 스마트워크 도입을 통해 업무 생산성과 근무 만족도를 효과적으로 개선하는 반면, 일부 기업들은 도입을 보류하거나 사실상 실패하는 사례들이 나타나고 있다. 이러한 차이를 해결하기 위해서는 스마트워크 도입 성공 요인을 밝히고 비즈니스 모델에 어떻게 적용시킬 수 있을지에 대한 고려가 필요하지만, 스마트워크 도입의 성공 요인을 밝히고자 하는 연구들은 매우 제한되어 있는 상황이다. 따라서, 본 고에서는 우선, 최근 스마트워크 도입 추진 연구를 바탕으로 스마트워크의 정의, 적용 가능 산업영역 및 파급효과의 크기, 도입 추진을 위한 시사점들을 종합하였다. 동시에, 원격근무(Telework), 가상팀 (Virtual team) 활동 등 선행 연구를 취합하여 성공사례와 성공 요소를 수집하였다. 정리된 결과를 바탕으로 국내외 시범사업 추진 사례를 비교함으로써 스마트워크 도입 시 기대효과를 극대화 할 수 있는 핵심 요소를 도출하고자 하였다. 본 연구 결과는 스마트워크 도입의 핵심 요소를 가시화 함으로써 실제 도입을 추진하고 있는 기업이 보다 원활하게 스마트워크를 도입하고 스마트워크를 기반으로 한 업무 프로세스 개선을 가능케 할 뿐만 아니라, 스마트워크 지원 서비스 비즈니스 모델 구축에도 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

보건관리대행 산업간호사의 업무수행 실태분석 (Situation Analysis of Work Performance on the Occupational Health Nursing Services Provided in Small Scale Enterprises of Korea)

  • Necessity for the guidebook of occupational health nursing practice has been perceived by our OH research members since the health management of small scale enterprises(SSE) was controlled by law. Mean-while, developing the OH manual, our team found that the work situation of occupational health nursing(OHN) services should be prior to the construction of the OHN manual. This procedure was regarded as helpful for producing the OH manual which is fitting to the Korean nursing circumstances. Thus, this study was planned and carried out. The study aimed to find out current situation of work performance on occupational health nursing practice perceived by nurses working for health management of SSE. Questionnaire was distributed to the OH nurses working in the 55 group occupational health service(GOHS) agencies throughout the Korea from January to March in 1997. Ninety-seven nurses of the 31 GOHS agencies responded. Descriptive statistics was used in the SAS programme. Four nurses participated to select nursing area investigated in the study. Those area were 'document', 'job orientation', 'OH reference', 'nursing theory', 'group health education', 'health examination', 'work dilemma', 'approach attitude', 'workplace visit', 'health promotion' and 'communication'. Results can be summarized as follow : Types of document were mentioned diversely depending on the GOHS agencies. Job orientation was seen to be performed by nurses in 56% among the 75.3% nurses responded. Sixty five percents of nurses agreed to apply nursing theories into the OH with lack of knowledge on them. Health screening and health education were responded as commonly provided nursing activities with various nursing obstacles as well as indicated in the area of 'work dilemma', 'approach attitude', 'workplace visit', 'health promotion'.

  • 최근 건설공사에 있어서의 VALUE ENGINEERING 적용에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며 VE WORK-SHOP 을 통한 많은 효과가 현대건설의 사례에서 입증이 되고 있음에도 신문매체 등에 발표되는 VE 관련 논고가 일반론적 기고에 국한되어 있어 VE에 대한 이해에 큰 도움은 되지만 갈증을 해소하기에는 어려운 실정이며 우리사회에 전문성을 가진 리더군이 많지 않음을 반증하는 것도 되기에 향후 좀더 많은 VE 경험을 토대로 한 리더군이 형성되어 다양한 주제를 기사화한 실무적인 VE 기법의 소개가 필요하다고 본다. VE 적용은 그 기법이 매우 다양하므로 해당 공사의 시기와 특성, 제약요소 팀원 구성의 전문성 등 다양한 요소를 종합적으로 고려하여 가장 적합한 형태의 VE가 추진될 수 있도록 VE 계획 시 추진 팀의 방향설정과 역할분담이 필요하고 준비되어야 한다. 특히 WORK-SHOP 형태의 VE는 현장 테마 중임의 ITEM VE에 비하여 적은 투입으로 많은 효과를 거둘 수 있지만 팀원의 전문성이 결여시 VE 작업결과의 시행에 따른 신뢰도가 떨어질 수 있는 가능성을 내포하고 있으므로 추진팀의 입장에서는 보다 세심하고 조직적으로 접근 할 필요가 있다. 성공적인 VE 작업을 하기 위하여서는 특히 WORK-SHOP 개념의 새로운 기법을 설계 및 시공초기에 단계적으로 적용하고 VE 팀 리더의 효과적인 VE 작업을 위한 절차의 명확한 이해와 선진 기법의 이해를 바탕으로 한 팀원의 교육과 가이드가 점점 중요한 요소가 되고 있다. 실제 건설공사에 있어 효과적인 VE를 적용하기 위한 핵심요소를 VE 교육을 진행하고 있는 담당 실무자 입장에서 정리하여 보았으며 기회가 허락되면 한 두 차례의 추가 연재를 통하여 상세히 논하고자 한다.

  • A recurrent theme within the literature on the 6 Sigma program is the study of its effect on organizational performance. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of 6 Sigma on culinary quality performance, work commitment, and customer loyalty in the culinary division of hotels and family restaurants. The samples of this study included the employees of the culinary division of hotels and family restaurants that implemented or were about to implement the 6 Sigma program. A total of 248 questionnaires were analyzed with statistical methods of factor analysis, reliability test, and regression analysis. The findings of this study showed that the 6 Sigma program affected the culinary quality performance and work commitment of culinary division employees. Also, the 6 Sigma program, culinary quality performance and work commitment affected customer loyalty. Furthermore, work commitment affected culinary quality performance. Based on these research findings, it is required that the culinary division of hotels and family restaurants should incorporate the 6 Sigma program. For this purpose, good quality data should be collected with sufficient preparation procedures, and task force team should be made. Moreover, experts in this field should be cultivated, with the training of employees in mind. It is also crucial that the current quality of product and services be measured and that all the employees of the culinary division participate in the implementation of the 6 Sigma program. The intervention and heavy participation of the top management and head of the culinary division is expected for the successful implementation of 6 Sigma program.
