  • The present study sought to shed light on specific designs and strategies by investigating the impact that team project-based learning approach using Naver Band had on learning outcomes specifically, on satisfaction and achievement. Variables of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use were chosen as critical predictors of the learning outcomes. 70 undergraduate students were divided into 18 groups and instructed to work on a team project using Naver Band for 6 weeks. Data analysis was completed using descriptive statistic analysis, correlation analysis, hierarchical regression analysis. Also, descriptions of Band from team reflection journal were analyzed. The major results of the study are as follows: first, perceived usefulness was the significant predictor of satisfaction and achievement. Second, 5 functions were revealed as strengths about Band.

  • University learning for innovation places great importance on maximizing the creation of new opportunities. In other words, universities are carrying out a new meaning that entrepreneurship education should enable students to discover potential opportunities and play an important role in the development of new society and industry. However, current entrepreneurship education programs are being developed and are being developed from diverse perspectives on rapidly changing environments. However, there is a growing awareness of the necessity of developing more professional and systematic entrepreneurship education programs, and it is argued that the emphasis on necessity is not enough have. This study empirically analyzed the cognitive abilities that influence innovative behavior to create and realize innovative ideas and the usefulness of team-based learning that influences these factors. The results of empirical research showed that self-directed learning ability and problem solving ability had a positive effect on innovation behavior and problem solving ability had a positive effect on innovation behavior as a part of self-directed learning ability. Team-based learning in entrepreneurship education has been shown to be beneficial as a moderating effect on the relationship between problem-solving ability and self-directed learning ability and innovation behavior. In the case of four factors of team-based learning, Respectively. This study suggests the effectiveness and application of team-based learning method in entrepreneurship education.

  • Reading abilities are the key for students' problem-solving, self-directed learning and lifelong competency. Reading to learn is usually created through resources-based learning or inquiry-based learning. This study shows a integrated cross-curriculum approach as a alternative method of the reading to learn and it is completed In collaboration with classroom teachers. In this study especially, the model for reading-based information problem solving is introduced as a specific learning strategy of a integrated cross-curriculum and team-teaching.

  • This study is to evaluate the effectiveness of problem-solving ability by applying a team-based learning model to the classes of humanities and social science students, and to conduct a structural model analysis on the relationship between sub-factors. Team-based learning was conducted six times in six teams with 30 students in the second and third grades of the humanities and social sciences. The problem solving ability score of the target students was significantly higher after team-based learning and was statistically significant. There was no problem in normality with the latent variables, which are the sub-factors of problem solving ability, and the factor load value was statistically significant at the .001 level in the confirmatory factor analysis of the observed variables for the latent variables, which was a valid model. A good level of fitness was also shown in the verification of the fitness of the research model. As a result, it was analyzed that latent variables of cause analysis, problem clarification, planning execution, performance evaluation, and alternative development had an indirect or direct influence on each other.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a solution through a methodological approach so that character education can be naturally acquired in team-based learning activities. In the spring semester of 2021, a total of 69 college students in two groups were studied, and as a result of the study, the total score of character education virtues in the post-test was greatly improved in the experimental group (p<.001). The correlation between sub-items of team-based learning and pre and post-test results for character sub-items, self-regulation, consideration, communication, self-esteem, and responsibility, were statistically significant. This study shows character education through team-based learning had positive results. However, future research through a wider range of subjects is needed, and various teaching methods are being applied to propose verification of the effectiveness of character education.

  • In this study, fault diagnosis and detection methods developed to ensure the reliability of polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) hydrogen electrolysis systems have been proposed. The proposed method consists of model development and data generation of the PEM hydrogen electrolysis system, and data-driven fault diagnosis learning model development. The developed fault diagnosis learning model describes how to detect and classify faults in the sensors and components of the system.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop cooperative learning model by utilizing mind practice to build mutual understandings and reliability among team members at the early stage of cooperative learning model That is to say, mind practice was applied to make the team members understanding one another and building the member's mutual confidences. The study was performed by dividing into two stages. First, the draft of mind practice based on cooperative learning model was proposed by performing a literature survey and a case study. Second, the draft model was applied to actual classrooms. And the draft was modified and developed to the final model on the basis of the draft model's strength and improvement founded during the procedure of the actual application. This draft model was implemented to 46 students who were the sophomore of department of education and enrolled the profession class of "Education methodology and Education engineering" at J college in J city for 5 weeks. From the implementation result of the model, it was obtained that there was the positive reaction on applying mind practice to the beginning stage of cooperative learning. Adding of "Re-building team" step in the original steps was suggested. The final model was modified and issued based on the research result. In summary, it was concluded that cooperative learning model based on mind practice could not only provide the harmonious interactions among team members at the step of "building the team members" but also have a positive effect on refreshing learning atmosphere of the team.

  • Background: Case-based learning (CBL) is becoming an important approach for improving interprofessional collaboration education. Previous studies have examined learners' satisfaction with interprofessional education (IPE) in medical institutions. However, there are few studies on the implementation of university-led CBL interventions and their direct effects on learning outcomes. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of CBL interventions on changes in the participants' perception and knowledge acquisition ability. Methods: The CBL approach consisted of team-based case-based learning, self-directed learning, and post-feedback. It was conducted as a single course for pharmacy students in their 5th year in a university setting. Changes in the participants' perceptions and self-assessments of competence levels were evaluated using survey responses. The effect of the CBL intervention on knowledge acquisition ability was directly evaluated using the exam score. Results: The majority agreed or strongly agreed that team-based case-based learning, and self-directed learning helped them to improve their knowledge and skills to a higher level and to increase the self-assessment of competency level. The average score of knowledge acquisition ability (average score of 75.0, p=0.0098) was significantly higher in the CBL intervention group than the lecture-based learning intervention group (average score of 52.0). Conclusion: The participants positively perceived that CBL intervention helped them to effectively improve their knowledge and the self-assessment of competency level. It also enhanced knowledge acquisition ability. These data, based on the survey responses, suggest that it is necessary to implement CBL interventions in a university-led single professional education.

  • Recently, the importance of team based learning has emerged as the method for conducting the constructivist learning theory. College students, however, have the low preference toward team projects. Thus, this research suggested that the information literacy education should be designed to overcome the problems in team project activities after analyzing the college students' information problem solving process. The in-depth interviews were conducted twice with 10 subjects. As a result, the main problems during team project activities were task definition, judgement on relevant information, evaluation of result and process, absence of accountability and synthesis. The recommendations for information literacy course are as follows: introduction to different types of information sources, support for communication problems between team members, education of credibility judgment on information and criteria for evaluating the results.
