2009 개정 과학과 교육과정의 실행에 대한 초등학교 교사의 인식 (Elementary School Teachers' Recognition for the Implementation of 2009 Revised National Science Curriculum)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze elementary school teachers' implementation for the emphasis on the revision, major contents, teaching and learning method, and evaluation in the 2009 revised national science curriculum. To fulfill the purpose of this study we carried out a survey with 222 elementary school teachers. Main findings of this research were as follows: First, they highly agreed to the increase in class hours and the application of subject classroom, but they had a lower recognition for setting the subject groups. Second, the degree of necessity in discussion and STS was relatively high, but the degree of implementation in science writing, discussion and STEAM was low. Third, in teaching and learning method, they showed a high performance for mutual cooperation, student-led activities and communication, but, a low implementation for open inquiry and instruction considering individual differences. Fourth, in the evaluation of science learning, they showed a high implementation for evaluation based on achievement standards and one based on the understanding and application of basic concepts, but, a low implementation for the development of common evaluation tools. Fifth, it seemed that their recognition for amount, level and interest of science contents and inquiry activities was appropriate and positive.

영국의 지리교육과정에서 GIS 커리큘럼의 도입과 개발에 관한 연구 (The Introduction and Development of GIS Curriculum in the UK Geography Education)

  • 90년대 중반 이후 영국의 지리교육에서는 정보화 사회의 이해와 주변 환경과의 관계를 종합적으로 이해할 수 있는 능력을 향상하기 위한 노력의 일환으로써, 지리교과목 내에서의 지리정보체계의 도입에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행중이다. 본 논문의 목적은 영국 내 지리교과과정에서 진행되어 오고 있는 저리정보시스템(GIS)의 적용 및 교과 재발에 대한 현황을 파악하고 어떠한 내용들이 실제 연구 개발되어 오고 있는 지를 고찰하는 것이다. 먼저, 영국의 초중등과정 (Key Stages 1, 2 및 3)내에서의 지리과목이 차지하는 위상과 현황을 살펴보고, 지리정보체계와 지리교과목과의 관계를 고찰한다. 이러한 관계를 바탕으로 각 과정내의 지리교과목의 교수와 학습을 위한 지리정보체계의 내용들을 살펴본다. 이에 대한 지리교과의 커리큘럼 개발에 대한 실제 사례 연구로써, 영국 내 학교 수업에 있어 실제 도입된 사례들을 살펴보고 이를 통해 지리정보체계의 실제적인 수업 적용 사례와 이점들을 파악한다. 마지막으로, 정보화 사회에 부응하기 위한 영국 내 지리정보체계의 교과 개발 연구 및 지리교과와의 관계 설정에 대한 노력이 최근의 한국 지리교육의 문제를 이해하고 극복하는데 있어 가지는 합의를 제시한다.

NCS 교육과정 개편을 위한 프로젝트기반 학습법: 4년제 대학을 중심으로 (Project-based Learning Method to Reorganize the NCS Training Program: Focusing on the 4-Year-Course University)

  • National Competency Standards are the major administrative project to build a competence-based society. The manpower for the global society should be recognized by performance rather than educational records. Therefore, all colleges should first nurture NCS-type manpower based on field needs. This study comparatively analyzed the differences between the lecture style of four-year colleges and the outcomes of problem-solving and project-based learning method to prove why it is necessary to introduce the NCS program. Especially, It will review the constraints and measures of NCS introduction to overcome in a four-year university. Through this, it can be used as a means to help improve the field conformity of a four-year college curriculum by presenting the development and utilization of curriculum-based NCS in a four-year university. As a result, it was found that the overall satisfaction with the problem-solving and project-based learning method was above average. Many students were dissatisfied with the traditional teaching methods and the new project-based learning method was relatively effective in college education. Students' participation also improved. Based on the evaluation of learning performance, the new method was found more satisfactory than the old teaching method in terms of comprehension of professional knowledge in various fields, nurturing of logical thinking skills, acquisition of analytical skills, comprehensive thinking skills, creative problem recognition, and open-minded thinking skills.

'융합 활동' 영역의 성취 목표, 교수학습 방법 및 평가 방법에 관한 연구 (Study on the Achievement Goals, Teaching-Learning Methods and Evaluation Methods of 'Convergence Activities' Section)

  • 정보화 사회에서 필요한 능력은 정보 능력을 바탕으로 한 각 능력의 조화로운 습득이며, 이러한 핵심 역량에 대한 교육 필요성과 함께 급변하는 정보화 사회에서 새로운 기술의 발전과 사회 환경의 변화로 인하여 교육 과정을 새롭게 구성해야 할 필요가 발생하였다. 따라서 한국정보교육학회에서는 정보 교과의 내용 체계에 대한 개정안에 대하여 연구하였으며, 정보 교육 내용을 '컴퓨터 시스템', '소프트웨어 제작' 및 '융합 활동'의 세 영역으로 구분하였다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 '융합 활동' 영역에 대하여 1학년부터 중학교 3학년까지의 교육과정을 연구하였다. 먼저 '융합 활동'의 교육 내용을 정보 능력과 다른 핵심 역량을 융합한 ICT 활용, 정보통신 윤리, 로봇 등의 활용으로 정의하고 이에 대한 성취 기준을 제시하였다. 그리고 이 성취 기준을 도달하기 위한 교수 학습 방법과 평가 방안을 학년군 별로 세분화하여 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 '융합 활동'에 대한 교육과정은 21세기 정보화 사회에 필요한 인재 양성에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

PBL통합교과과정에서 학습한 간호학생의 문제중심학습 효과 (The Effects of Problem Based Learning(PBL) in Nursing Students Studying through PBL Curriculum)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this research was to evaluate the effects of Problem-Based Learning(PBL) in nursing students. Method: Data was collected from 70 junior nursing students who studied through PBL curriculum from C college, by 3 times from August to December 2005. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 10.0. Results: There were no statistically significant improvement in study related characteristics; appropriateness to nursing, interest in nursing knowledge, interest in clinical practicum and evaluation PBL learning course; satisfied with teaching content, satisfied with teaching method, and self-confidence in nursing. But there were statistically significant improvement in metacognition, self efficacy and learning motivation. Conclusion: Based on above results further research should be doing about subject of diverse nursing students who are studying PBL, development of PBL practice package and evaluation it's effects, and exploration to many elements that influenced evaluation PBL learning course.

정보 교육에서 비버 챌린지(Bebras Challenge)의 활용 가능성과 향후 과제 (The Applicability and Related Issues of Bebras Challenge in Informatics Education)

  • 2015 개정 교육과정에서의 정보 교과는 지능 정보 사회를 대비하기 위한 핵심 교과로서의 정체성을 확립하였다. 그러나 교과의 성격, 목표, 내용체계 및 성취기준 등이 체계성을 갖추고 있는데 반해, 효과적인 교수 학습 및 평가 방법에 대한 연구는 부족하다. 본 연구에서는 2004년 리투아니아에서 시작되어 2015년 전 세계 130만 명의 학생들이 참여하는 등 해외 여러 국가에서 정보 교과의 새로운 교육 모델로서 주목받고 있는 비버 챌린지의 교육적 활용 가능성을 2015 개정 정보과 교육과정의 관점에서 분석하고, 비버 챌린지의 토착화를 위한 향후 과제를 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과가 비버 챌린지의 보급 및 확산뿐만 아니라 정보 교육을 위한 교수 학습 및 평가 모델 연구의 단초가 되기를 기대한다.

인제대학교 의과대학의 성과바탕교육과정 개발실례 및 결과 소개 (Outcome-Based Curriculum Development at Inje University College of Medicine)

  • This paper focuses on the outcome-based curriculum of Inje University College of Medicine to describe our curriculum development process and results. Starting in 2006, we have revised the curriculum based on the competency-based clinical presentation curriculum. We stated clearly the learning outcomes from the social needs and educational goal of our university. We defined 8 exit outcomes and specified phase outcomes, course outcomes, lesson outcomes, and outcome objectives. By 2012, we identified 128 clinical presentations and 149 basic scientific concepts. Various evaluation and assessment methods and teaching-learning strategies were assigned to each outcome. Problem-based learning, standardized patient practice, and learning portfolios are the main strategies of our curriculum. We have performed a progress test to assess the level of achievement of students' outcomes. We have also collected feedback from students and faculty members about the curriculum, including every lesson, course, and the overall curriculum. To maintain this change of the curriculum, we reorganized the curriculum committee, educational faculty and teams, and administrative support system. To fine tune this curriculum, we have held three 3-day workshops on curriculum development and weekly meetings. We believe this is just the beginning of developing the curriculum of Inje University. Further upgrades will be necessary to continue to improve medical education.

대학의 UCC 프로젝트 교수·학습 모형 개발 및 적용 (University's the UCC Project Teaching and Learning Model Development and its Application)

  • This study was conducted for the purpose of developing the UCC project teaching and learning model based on the rationale which are applicable effectively in the field of university education. Firstly, we have designed the rationale based on the research of documents and preceding researches about teaching method models. Secondly, we have developed the UCC project teaching and learning model. the UCC project teaching and learning model based on the rationale was assessed by the professional formative evaluation group and tested in the field of university education in advance and thereafter. It was finally rectified and supplemented. Particularly, any corrections were to be made repeatedly in the stage of developing of the UCC project. And also, during the assessment and arrangement process, it was designed for the study participants to feel a sense of achievement as learners who combine knowledge and attitudes toward participants'subjects of the curriculum and professional vocational skills by performing the nursing science training scene which could happen in the field. Thirdly, the final version of the UCC project teaching and learning model was verified in its effectiveness by being applied in the field of the nursing science education in the $2^{nd}$ step. As a result, we noticed that learners diverse abilities were improved through systemic process and performing elements such as teaching plan which was needed for designing the UCC project in the field, making storyboard and skills for making video contents. We hope that the UCC project teaching and learning model in this study will be used by the students for designing, developing and utilizing educational UCCs which are necessary in industrial fields and it will contribute for training university students as professionals having the practical skills in the field.

  • 2015 개정 수학과 교육과정의 초등학교 1~2학년 적용 실태 분석 결과, 대부분의 교사들은 '놀이 수학' 코너가 교과역량 함양에 도움이 되며, 수학 학습량 및 내용의 수준, <수학> 및 <수학 익힘>의 어휘 수준과 문장의 길이 등은 적절하다고 보았으나 일부 교사들은 어휘가 어렵고 문장도 길다고 인식하였다. 또한 수학 이해 및 한글 해득에 있어서의 학생 간 수준 차이가 크다는 것이 초등학교 1~2학년 수업 운영의 주된 어려움이라는 교사들의 인식을 토대로 본 연구에서는 수학 이해 및 한글 해득에 어려움을 겪는 학생을 위한 적극적인 지원의 필요성을 제안하였다.

생물 실험 지도에 있어서 가설 검증 수업모형의 적용 효과 (Effects of Application Hypothesis Verification Learning Model in Biology Experiment Teaching)

  • Improving of scientific inquiring ability is the major goal of current science curriculum, and the 6th science curriculum. But science educators consider that the existing textbooks and teaching manuals are insufficient to achieve this goal. For science teachers at teaching site to guide students efficiently in research work, development of teaching-learning programs is urgently demanded. Hypothesis Verification Learning Model(HVLM) was applied to classroom situation to improve ability of scientific inquiry in experiment teaching of middle school biology. The effects of the model were analyzed to suggest some approach method to reach the goal of science education in this study. The major results of this study are as following: 1. The students and teachers responded positively on this new learning model. an students were willing to participate in biology experiment and they said that to know what was unknown to them while exchanging ideas and opinions through the discussion, It was hard for teachers to instruct at the first time and it took much time for them to arrange materials ready, but it turned to be easier as time went on. 2. In science process skills, there was no significant difference statistically by new leaning model. Only the formulating a generalization or model showed significant difference statistically between the two groups. 3. For scientific attitude, experimental group did not show significant difference statistically between the two groups, but the experimental group showed statistically more significant positiveness in all areas afterwards than before. 4. In science achievement test, there was significantly higher than the control group. It is also analyzed that they remember the experiments in courses and results they planned and performed by themselves longer than these guided by teachers.
