The Effects of Marital Parenting Stress with Preschool Children on Parenting Attitudes (유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육 스트레스가 "교사로서의 부모" 양육태도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of marital parenting stress with preschool children on parenting attitudes, as measured by the 'Parent As A Teacher Inventory' (PAAT). From the mothers in Daegu, with 3-to 6-year-old preschool children, 138 subjects were selected. The major findings of this study were as follows. First, there was no significant difference in the maternal parenting stress according to demographic variables. Second, there were significant differences in the parenting attitudes according to the child's age, income, parent's occupation, and maternal educational level. Third, the child's domain of parenting stress affected the control and teaching/learning area of parenting attitudes. The parent's domain of parenting stress affected the creativity, frustration, and control area of parenting attitudes.

  • The spreadsheet Microsoft Excel is the most widely used mathematical tool in today's workplace. Moreover, it is also an outstanding means for developing a surprisingly wide range of creative and innovative educational uses within such areas as mathematical modeling, visualization, and instruction. The spreadsheet's format provides us with a tool that closely parallels the way in which we naturally carry out problem solving, while the spreadsheet creation process itself illuminates the underlying mathematical concepts. In addition, the spreadsheet's visual layout allows us to introduce a broad variety of challenging and interesting topics, and to design creative demonstrations through eye-catching animated graphics. The material presented comes from actual classroom mathematics teaching experience in both industrially advanced and developing nations. A series of highly visual interactive illustrations from mathematics, the natural and social sciences, computing, engineering, and the arts provide a number of usable examples. The material discussed is applicable at diverse levels, ranging from schools and universities through adult education and in-service teacher development programs.

  • The new paradigm called the web 2.0 recently appeared in the web environment. We pay attention to the positive effects which may be brought about by application of the web 2.0 to e-learning; we think that it can improve problem solving skills of learners and reinforce their creativity. But until now, e-learning model, which understood the web 2.0 concept completely, has been never developed. In this context, we propose the web 2.0-based e-learning platform which induces all the courses for education such as the selection of topic, preparation of lecture schedule and contents, teaching and learning, to be decided by participants. We believe that this platform can replace or supplement the e-learning of web 1.0 age, and realize the positive effects.

  • 현재 초등학교에서는 각 학년에 재량활동 시간을 활웅하여 매주 1시간씩 34시간이상을 정보통신기술교육 시간으로 배정하고 있다. 그러나 시대의 변화에 발맞추어 요구되고 있는 창의성과 문제해결력을 키워줄 수 있는 컴퓨터 교재가 개발되어 있지 않아 서 시대에 맞는 정보통신기술교육을 하고 있지 못하다. 그리하여 교육인적자원부가 발표한 정보통신기술교육 운영지침을 분석하여 창의성과 문제해결력을 증진시킬 수 있고 현장에서 쓰일 수 있는 5,6학년용 교재를 개발해 보았다.

  • 교육부 "초 중등학교 정보통신기술 교육 운영지침(2000. 8. 1)"에 따라 2001학년도부터 초 중등학교에서는 필수적으로 정보통신기술 소양 및 활용 교육을 연간 34시간 이상(1학년은 30시간)씩 확보하여 운영하고 있다. 하지만 운영지침만 나와 있을 뿐 구체적인 실천 방법이 나와 있지 않아서 일선학교에서는 정보통신기술 교육과정을 운영하는데 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 최근에 개정된 "초 중등학교 정보통신기술 교육 운영지침(2005.12)"을 바탕으로 창의성과 문제해결력을 신장시키길 수 있는 컴퓨터 재량활동 교재(2단계: 3, 4학년 중심)를 개발하게 되었다.

  • 2000년 교육인적자원부에서는 초 중등학교 정보통신기술교육 운영지침을 내놓았고, 개정의 필요성이 제기되어 2005년 12월 개정지침이 나왔다. 그러나 현재 개정에 따른 컴퓨터 교재가 개발되어 있지 않고, 더군다나 시대의 변화와 발맞추어 요구되고 있는 창의성을 신장시킬 수 있는 교재가 개발되어 있지 않다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 교육인적자원부가 개정한 초 중등학교 정보통신기술교육 운영지침을 분석하여 교육현장에서 쓰일 수 있는 1, 2학년용 교재를 개발하게 되었다.

  • Korean elementary school facilities are a lot of changes since the mid-1990s. Creative learning ability to become more important. Interior space environment and the hardware changes needed improvement. In this study, depending on the teaching methods and curriculum characteristics to suggest design guidelines for a more effective lesson plan by changing the terran out. Open education free to enhance the development and creativity of the human spirit, the human, and realize the value of education is to increase the relevance of education for self-realization and social. Space for open educational practices through advanced layout is proposed. There is a need for the development of new school furniture for a variety of lay-out. It is important to develop a spatial variability in new school furniture.

A Study on the labor organization for the Andong-Po(hemp cloth) (안동포 생산에 따른 길쌈노동교환직)

  • This article is concentrated on the organization for labor exchange in producing hemp cloth at Geumso-ri, Imha-myoun, Andong city. The organization is called "Sam-dool-ge", and it is different from the organization for labor exchange in producing rice because it is managed by women mostly. ln harvesting hemp, same amount of labor and expenses are invested. Especially, labor is supplied in equal condition. In spinning hemp cloth, the work is shared on the basis of same tech level. In threading the warp and fastening hemp cloth. the work conducted collaborately under the best engineer's direction. "Sam-dool-ge", a gil-sam labor exchange, also presents cultural creativity which produces and inherits the folkloric tradition, and also has the quality as a rite of passage. Nowadays, producing hem cloth is for pursuiting of profits than for making clothes as it used to be. This tradition will be lasted at least for a while because some young generations are beginning to participate in and old generation is teaching them good.

How Many Korean Middle-school Students Find the Same Scientific Problem as Kepler Found in Optics and Physiology?

  • The aims of this study are to investigate how Kepler found a scientific problem for the retinal image theory and to investigate how Korean middle-school students respond when the same situation is applied to them. Kepler found the scientific problem in the eye vision through the critical analysis of contemporary theories of vision, based on his relevant knowledge of optics. When the same situation was applied to the Korean middle-school students, only a few students found the same scientific problem as Kepler. From the results, it is suggested that in developing creativity teaching materials, situations like Kepler's problem finding need to be included in programs.
