The purpose of this study is to examine the perception of early childhood teachers on ecological art activities oriented to education for sustainable development. The research results are as follows. First, Early childhood teachers recognized the visual art of natural media, the pursuit of community values, and the participation and communication of social members as educational significance of ecological art activities. And difficulties in practicing ecological art were recognized as lack of educational environment, lack of ecological art teaching materials and specific examples, and teachers' lack of understanding of ecological art. Also, they recognized that ecological art activities foster core competencies in art experience area, such as nature-friendly communication skills, eco-friendly sensibility, and creative convergence skills. Second, regarding ecological art activities and sustainable development education, early childhood teachers considered the difficulties in practice as lack of awareness about sustainable development, lack of play meia and materials, lack of educational policies and support, and insufficient teacher training programs. Also, regarding the SDGs that can be practiced in ecological art activities, teachers were found to be highly aware of 'grow affordable and clean energy', 'improve clean water and sanitation', 'provide quality education' in the order. In the contents of education for sustainable development that can be practiced in ecological art activities, teachers are given the order of 'climate change response', 'clean energy', 'water and sanitation', 'quality education', 'health and well-being' and 'marine ecosystem'. was highly recognized. If an ecological art activity program is developed, the rate of responding that it will be used is high, so it is considered that the development of an ESD-oriented ecological art activity program is urgent.
Recently, in school mathematics, classes using mathematical modeling are attracting attention to improve students' mathematical problem-solving skills. However, existing preceding studies have been conducted mainly on elementary, middle, and high school or in-service teachers, so it may be limited to apply the contents and results of the research as it is to pre-service teachers, who are future professors. Therefore, this study examined the school days' experiences of mathematical modeling for pre-service elementary school teachers. In addition, in order to provide a positive experience for mathematical modeling, mathematical modeling problem creation activities were conducted through group activities, and the results and their perceptions were examined. As a result of the study, elementary school preservice teachers had very little experience with mathematical modeling activities during their elementary, middle, and high school days. It was found that there is a deficiency in creating an appropriate mathematical modeling problem suitable for the level of elementary school students. In addition, it was found that they had a positive perception of mathematical modeling after participating in the study. Based on these results, implications for the training process for preservice teachers were suggested.
The purpose of this study was to explore how teachers perceive barriers to consultation with school counselors. For this purpose, the opinions of 16 teachers working in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, Chungcheong, and Daegu were collected through one-on-one interviews and qualitatively analyzed using the concept-mapping method. A second set of data was gathered to classify the similarity and importance of the teachers' statements through one-on-one interviews or the mail. The data was analyzed using multidimensional scaling and hierarchical cluster analyses. The results were as follows. The barriers to the consultation with school counselors as perceived by teachers were represented in 51 statements. Dimensional statement analysis revealed two dimensions: (a) 'School counseling's traits - School counselors' traits' and (b) 'Psychological difficulties - Environmental difficulties' Hierarchical cluster analysis identified 5 clusters: 'The responsibilities as homeroom teachers interfere with communication with counselors', 'Teachers lack of awareness of their ability to seek consultation with counselors', 'Teachers lack of trust in school counselors', 'Perceptions of the school counselors' role and lack of relevant experience with school counselors prevent teachers from seeking consultation', and 'School counselors are overworked due to the school counseling environment' The most important cluster was 'Teachers lack of trust in school counselors'.

This study is aimed to classify teachers' questions and feedbacks as well as students' responses in term, of type and frequency, and speculate the distinctive features of verbal interactions including teachers' questions and feedbacks performed actively in the classes of the gifted in science. The 24 hours of the classes made for the 8th grade science-gifted students were observed and recorded. In addition, the mutual conversations between the teacher and the students were transcribed and analyzed, and the interviews with the teachers also were made. It is found that the teachers usually use the question methods of memory recollection, perception and memorization, together with an instant feedback method, while the students prefer to respond with rather short answers. The characteristic features of the class by the teachers who lead the active class show that they use the open questions at the beginning, raise the level of the questioning, use the questions 'why and how' frequently, and to ask evaluative questions. Their feedbacks to the students interestingly indicate that they show the students the attitude of accepting and receiving students' replies, invite different responses from other students by reserving instant answers or judgements to the students, and give the students the confidence of solving the next problems, by praising and encouraging them.

This study explores the possibility of using a generative artificial intelligence, ChatGPT, for student assessment in science subjects. In order to achieve our goal, we developed assessment items, collected students' responses, and input them into ChatGPT to implement the assessment procedures. Subsequently, we shared the assessment results from ChatGPT with science teachers and compared them to the teachers' assessment process to investigate the use of ChatGPT in student assessment. Regarding the results, in terms of setting the scoring rubric, we found the rubric generated by ChatGPT to be generally appropriate. However, the consistency between the scoring results obtained from ChatGPT and those determined by the teachers was relatively low. This inconsistency was more pronounced in items with additional assessment components and a more intricate rubric. In regard to feedback on student responses, there were some instances where the feedback generated was scientifically incorrect or beyond the scope of the curriculum, but there were also some positives, such as the provision of exemplary answers to questions and additional examples that helped students learn further. From these results, the teachers perceived limitations in using ChatGPT to conduct assessment in terms of reliability, which is considered crucial in student assessment, but suggested that it could be used to support assessment. Finally, synthesizing these findings, implications for utilizing ChatGPT in student assessment were suggested.

This study analyzed students' discourse and learning to investigate the impact of using Google Docs in science classes. The researcher, who is also a science teacher, conducted classes for 49 second-year middle school students. The classes included one using Google Docs and another using traditional paper worksheets covering identical content. Students' discourse collected from each class was compared and analyzed using Epistemic Network Analysis (ENA). The findings indicated that in the class using Google Docs, the proportion of discourse related to task was higher compared to the traditional class. More specifically, discourse regarding taking and uploading photos was prominent. However, such discourse did not lead to peer learning as intended by the teacher. An analysis based on achievement levels revealed that the class utilizing Google Docs had a relatively higher proportion of discourse from lower-achieving students. Additionally, differences were observed in the types of utterances and connection structures between the higher and lower-achieving students. The higher-achieving students took a leading role in providing suggestions and explanations, while the lower-achieving students played a role in transcribing them, with this tendency being more pronounced in the class using Google Docs. Lastly, students' changes in perception regarding the cause of static electricity were visualized using ENA. Based on the research findings, this study proposes strategies to enhance collaborative learning using Google Docs, including the use of open-ended problems to allow diverse opinions and outputs, and exploring the potential use of ENA to assess the learning effects of conceptual learning.
This study aimed to investigate the current situation of toothbrushing guidance with child care teachers in day care facilities caring and managing infants and young children and to grasp problems neglected in using toothpaste and guiding toothbrushing to provide basic data for measures to cope with them. This study included 165 child care teachers or teachers of the kindergartens who agreed with its purpose. By excluding 10 questionnaires with omitted or conflicting answers, 156 ones were finally analyzed in this study. The correlation between education about oral health and toothbrushing guidance, the subjects with and without the experience of the education did not show any significant difference in time to encourage toothbrushing, behaviors of toothbrushing guidance, guidance on prevention of toothpaste intake and perception of an appropriate amount of toothpaste (p>0.05) while perception of the importance of oral health was significantly related with the education on oral health (p<0.05). Therefore, education system for specialists in oral health to offer a specific and systemic education and oral health education programs for child care teacher, are considered to be necessary.
Korean 7th national curriculum gave the right to elect the advanced subject such as physics II, chemistry II. Students could elect the subject by their aptitude and interest. But, actually, the choice was constrained by school circumstances such as the number of teacher and the number of class. high school students. We investigated the demand about school science and perception about scientifically specialized high school in which the students could have all advanced science subjects by the survey of 336 middle school students including 148 students in the science education center for the gifted, 220 high school students, and 70 science teachers in capital region. As results of this study, most of the high school opened chemistry and biology advanced subjects, but only 37.1% of them opend physics advanced subject. This constrained students' right of elect the subject by their interest. While most of middle school and high school students normally demanded the more experiment in the class and the easier science content, the students in the science education center for the gifted demanded more science class time. The students who wanted to have science career had very positive recognition of scientifically specialized high school and science teachers agreed to running the scientifically specialized high school.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between home economics teachers' characteristics and middle school students' affective morality through Home Economics Instruction. The affective morality of middle school students after taking home economics classes were assessed and investigated as to what sorts of affective morality there were and to find out what level they were. further, what factors affected the affective morality of middle school students considering the variable factors of home economics teachers. 800 first year male and female students of 17 middle schools located in Cheonju and Cheongwon were selected through non-random or accessible sampling. The frequency, precent, mean and standard deviation, correlation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression of these data were obtained by using the SPSS 10.0 for Windows Program. The result of this study were as follows: First, basic etiquette was the most important rated the highest among the affective morality, nature preservation turned out the lowest in each questionnaire. Learned in home economics, it was considered the highest goal; Second, in terms of character and affective morality of middle school students, male students ranked higher than female students and the students with a better academic performance record, and those who engaged in club activities showed better results in affective morality as did students with religious beliefs and students with better educated parents and also students from homes with better financial situations. Third, in terms of students' perception of home economics teachers with a good nature turned out the highest, teaching ability and career awareness and also reflected at the same level. Fourth, students' perception of home economics teachers' characteristics and their affective morality are honed out correlated with each other. The correlation of home economics teachers' career awareness and compassion${\cdot}$devotion${\cdot}$service morality proved to be the highest. Fifth, the affective morality of those students who do community service, club activities and those who are interested in home economics and who respect home economics teachers tended to be high.

The purpose of this study is to seek out efficient multicultural education plans by investigating Home Economics teachers' perception of multicultural families and multicultural education. Thus, a survey was carried out to collect data mainly from home economics teachers who is working for middle schools. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. Firstly, there were more teachers who had some experience of contacting with multicultural families than those who didn't have, but it was not a big difference. Also, it was found that there were not many teachers who took multicultural education-related classes for their studying at college or had multicultural education-related teachers' training for their working as a teacher. Secondly, it was found that their respect for multi-races, recognition of multi-cultures, belief in multi-cultures and acceptance attitude toward multicultural knowledge were very positive. Thirdly, it was found that most teachers had consideration -centered viewpoints most of all. On the other hand, assimilation-based viewpoints were the least among teachers. Fourthly, teachers believe that multicultural society centered contents, which is a society where people get along with each other, should be dealt in class while executing education for multicultural families. Lastly, in regard to methods of executing education for multicultural families, it was found that they showed the strongest opinion that it should be executed all over the domain of every school subject as integrated education.
