Development of the paved track is required as a low-maintenance of conventional line. The paved tracks are one of the types of the ballast reinforced tracks those are manufactured by adopting the prepacked concrete technique. The main elements of this tracks are large sleeper, low elastic pad, fastener, cement mortar, geotextile and recycled ballast. Low elastic pad is the most effective element of such tracks on the basis of stress-displacement characteristics, dynamic response and fatigue characteristics. The stiffness of the pad determine the stiffness of the track. Consequently, it is more important in case of concrete track structure such as paved track because application of low elastic pad seriously effect the durability and stability of the track. The main objective of this study is to confirm the reduction of train load, which transfer to roadbed through various pad effects. To achieve this task static, numerical analysis and real scale repeated loading test was performed while load reduction effect of low elastic pad was analyzed by using displacement, stress and strain ratio characteristics of the paved track.

Wind turbines are usually steel hollow structures that can be vulnerable to dramatic failures due to high-intensity wind (HIW) events, which are classified as a category of localized windstorms that includes tornadoes and downbursts. Analyzing Wind Turbines (WT) under tornadoes is a challenging-to-achieve task because tornadoes are much more complicated wind fields compared with the synoptic boundary layer wind fields, considering that the tornado's 3-D velocity components vary largely in space. As a result, the supporting tower of the wind turbine and the blades will experience different velocities depending on the location of the event. Wind farms also extend over a large area so that the probability of a localized windstorm event impacting one or more towers is relatively high. Therefore, the built-in-house numerical code "HIW-WT" has been developed to predict the straining actions on the blades considering the variability of the tornado's location and the blades' pitch angle. The developed HIWWT numerical model incorporates different wind fields that were generated from developed CFD models. The developed numerical model was applied on an actual wind turbine under three different tornadoes that have different tornadic structure. It is found that F2 tornado wind fields present significant hazard for the wind turbine blades and have to be taken into account if the hazardous impact of this type of unexpected load is to be avoided.

This thesis explores the embodiment of a performer and a character/role specifically by examining what the term character is associated with and implies in a sense of the performer's bodily training through which what happens to their body. First of all, this research begins to investigate the relationship between a performer and a character centred on the performer's bodily experience through training and/or studio work. From a perspective of a performer, the concept and practical approach of a character itself essentially includes and signifies all the given circumstance of a specific play which has to be acknowledged then inhabited through the performer's body. That is, the internal structure of the text parallels with articulating and developing the spine of a specific character which take place as the substance leads the performer's body to an organic action and/or that of way corresponding to what the character needs and wants to obtain through a series of moment on stage. Here, we argue that the purposeful action as a process and result of applying/inhabiting the substance enhances the performer's body as the whole being participates in the given environment within which his/her body can also work or function by means of the integrated oneness. Second, in a manner of the most fundamental level, both the ethic of acting and the central task of a performer remind us the significance of allowing therefore experiencing subtle bodily movement, namely, responses to stimulus from in/outside of his/her body either visible or invisible on the one hand. At the same time, such a journey of self-discovery empowers the performer to explore new potential possibilities on the other. Finally, as the research finding suggests that these practical insights are necessarily need to be acknowledged as a point of the departure through which the quality of a performer's body is also cultivated by means of the changeable wholeness in order to being on stage.

Professional self-determination of the individual is a complex and lengthy process of finding and realizing yourself in the profession. The main goal of professional self-determination is clarified. The basic concepts of readiness for professional self-determination of future specialists in the modern information society are revealed. The following approaches to the consideration of the concept of readiness are defined: functional-psychological, personal, activity-based. Based on the components of readiness identified by the researchers, it can be assumed that the structure of professional self-determination of the future specialist contains motivational, cognitive and activity components. Self-determination is defined as a multidimensional process that can be considered from different points of view: as a series of tasks, that society sets for the emerging individual, and which the individual must solve in a certain period. As a process of step-by-step decision-making, with the help of which the individual forms a balance between his desires and inclinations, on the one hand, and the needs of society, on the other; as a process of forming an individual lifestyle, part of which is professional activity. A number of tasks of professional self-determination of a future specialist in the information society are formulated. Diagnostic practices for determining the degree of readiness of future specialists for future professional success are characterized. Practices are developed as a basis for creating an individually oriented correctional and development program to promote the formation of future specialists' focus on future professional success. Their task is to ensure control over the dynamics of this process, assess the effectiveness of this career guidance work. Practices are aimed at identifying the degree of thorough knowledge of the conditions for achieving professional success in the chosen field of activity among future specialists.

Global population growth has resulted in an increased demand for food production. Simultaneously, aging rural communities have led to a decrease in the workforce, thereby increasing the demand for automation in agriculture. Drones are particularly useful for unmanned pest control fields. However, the current method of uniform spraying leads to environmental damage due to overuse of pesticides and drift by wind. To address this issue, it is necessary to enhance spraying performance through precise performance evaluation. Therefore, as a foundational study aimed at optimizing drone-based pest control technologies, this research evaluated water-sensitive paper (WSP) via density map estimation using convolutional neural networks (CNN) with a encoder-decoder structure. To achieve more accurate estimation, this study implemented multi-task learning, incorporating an additional classifier for image segmentation alongside the density map estimation classifier. The proposed model in this study resulted in a R-squared (R2) of 0.976 for coverage area in the evaluation data set, demonstrating satisfactory performance in evaluating WSP at various density levels. Further research is needed to improve the accuracy of spray result estimations and develop a real-time assessment technology in the field.
The processing of seismic data involves analyzing earthquake wave data to understand the internal structure and characteristics of the Earth, which requires high computational power. Recently, machine learning (ML) techniques have been introduced to address these challenges and have been utilized in various tasks such as noise reduction and velocity model construction. However, most studies have focused on specific seismic data processing tasks, limiting the full utilization of similar features and structures inherent in the datasets. In this study, we compared the efficacy of using receiver-wise time-series data ("receiver array") and synchronized receiver signals ("time array") from shotgathers for pretraining a Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) model. To this end, shotgather data generated from a synthetic model containing faults was used to perform noise reduction, velocity prediction, and fault detection tasks. In the task of random noise reduction, both the receiver and time arrays showed good performance. However, for tasks requiring the identification of spatial distributions, such as velocity estimation and fault detection, the results from the time array were superior.

Analyzing of dependency relation among clauses is one of the most critical parts in parsing Korean sentences because it generates severe ambiguities. To get successful results of analyzing dependency relation, this task has been the target of various machine learning methods including SVM. Especially, kernel methods are usually used to analyze dependency relation and it is reported that they show high performance. This paper proposes an expression and a composit kernel for dependency analysis of Korean clauses. The proposed expression adopts a composite kernel to obtain the similarity among clauses. The composite kernel consists of a parse tree kernel and a liner kernel. A parse tree kernel is used for treating structure information and a liner kernel is applied for using lexical information. the proposed expression is defined as three types. One is a expression of layers in clause, another is relation expression between clause and the other is an expression of inner clause. The experiment is processed by two steps that first is a relation expression between clauses and the second is a expression of inner clauses. The experimental results show that the proposed expression achieves 83.31% of accuracy.

As the Web and digital libraries have become a commodity, they are used for a variety of purposes and tasks that may require a great deal of cognitive efforts. However, most search engines in the Web and digital libraries support users with only searching and browsing capabilities, leaving all the cognitive burdens of manipulating information objects to the users. We propose a two-level model for human-Web interactions, consisting of knowledge and information spaces, and a tool that provides knowledge space and inter-space operations in addition to searching and browsing at the information level. Knowledge space is an explication of user's conceptual view of the information objects being explored through interactions with the Web or a digital library. Topics are created and related with associations at the knowledge level and connected to information objects in information space. The tool implemented using the Topic Maps framework has been tested for efficacy as an aid to reducing cognitive burden under exploratory search task.

The weight estimation and calculation of FPSO topsides is first performed at the bidding stage of projects. At this time, it is difficult to estimate and calculate accurately the weight because most of items of FPSO are not apparently defined. Especially, in the case of the pipe rack module, its portion of the total weight and the range of weight variation are large due to special features of piping and electric equipment in the module. Thus, it is very important to estimate and calculate accurately its weight in the task of the weight estimation and calculation of FPSO topsides. In this study, the past data for the weight of the pipe rack module were collected and analyzed, the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) for the pipe rack module was constructed, and primary variables and secondary variables for developing a weight estimation and calculation model were selected. That is, after analyzing the past data, the volume was selected as the primary variable and the regression analysis was performed based on the variable. Then, several secondary variables were selected and incorporated into a weight estimation and calculation model. At this time, the weight per discipline was assumed from ratios of the total weight. Finally, the weight of the pipe rack module was estimated and calculated by using the developed model. As a result, the deviation from the model was better than that (-20 % ~ 60 %) of other studies about the weight estimation and calculation of FPSO topsides. Thus, the validity and applicability of the weight estimation and calculation of the pipe rack could be checked.
