  • Use cases are commonly used to represent customer requirements during systems development. In a large software development environment, finding relevant use cases from a library of past or related projects is a complex, error-prone and expensive task. This study proposes an ontological methodology to support use case retrieval in an interactive manner. The architecture of a prototype system that implements this methodology is presented. To evaluate whether the proposed approach can provide satisfactory results to users, this study develops a research model and hypotheses based on interaction theory. These hypotheses are empirically tested using a laboratory experiment which controls information filtering and perceived interaction. Our study suggests that a system which interacts with a user intelligently reduces cognitive load and increases self-efficacy and satisfaction.

노인요양시설 요양보호사의 영양지식과 식사보조수행도 (A Study on the Meal Assistance and Nutrition Knowledge of Caregivers for the Elderly in Nursing Homes)

  • This study attempted to examine the nutrition knowledge of caregivers for the elderly and the diet-related medical treatment and dietary assistance given by them. Thus, this research is a descriptive study focusing on the current nutritional knowledge of caregivers and the dietary assistance given by them. The survey included a questionnaire (nutritional knowledge level of digestive system diseases, diabetes, cardiovascular risk, brain disease, bone disease, and meal assistance performance status) for caregivers working in nursing homes for the elderly. Self-administered questionnaires were completed by 235 caregivers between February and March 2020. The results were analyzed using the SPSS 25.0, and the significance test of each question was verified by the Friedman test and the Chi-square independence test. The number of elderly people who needed meal assistance from caregivers was 4.4 more than the average. The most common types of meal assistance were partial assistance (59.20%) and the task of when to stop eating for the elderly (58.71%). Besides, the higher nutritional knowledge level of the caregivers, the more the time spent on services related to meal assistance (P<0.001), and the higher the meal assistance level. The disease state of the elderly was considered the most relevant (P<0.001). Caregivers with high levels of knowledge and offering significant meal assistance were found to have received nutrition education (P<0.001). Up to 80% of the respondents needed nutrition education, and most of them answered that they needed education on appropriate management methods for the specific disease state of the elderly (P<0.01). Accordingly, providing nutrition education for caregivers for the elderly should be a means to improve their ability to offer meal assistance.

분식 적발을 위한 재무이상치 분석시스템 개발 (Development of the Financial Account Pre-screening System for Corporate Credit Evaluation)

  • Although financial information is a great influence upon determining of the group which use them, detection of management fraud and earning manipulation is a difficult task using normal audit procedures and corporate credit evaluation processes, due to the shortage of knowledge concerning the characteristics of management fraud, and the limitation of time and cost. These limitations suggest the need of systemic process for !he effective risk of earning manipulation for credit evaluators, external auditors, financial analysts, and regulators. Moot researches on management fraud have examined how various characteristics of the company's management features affect the occurrence of corporate fraud. This study examines financial characteristics of companies engaged in fraudulent financial reporting and suggests a model and system for detecting GAAP violations to improve reliability of accounting information and transparency of their management. Since the detection of management fraud has limited proven theory, this study used the detecting method of outlier(upper, and lower bound) financial ratio, as a real-field application. The strength of outlier detecting method is its use of easiness and understandability. In the suggested model, 14 variables of the 7 useful variable categories among the 76 financial ratio variables are examined through the distribution analysis as possible indicators of fraudulent financial statements accounts. The developed model from these variables show a 80.82% of hit ratio for the holdout sample. This model was developed as a financial outlier detecting system for a financial institution. External auditors, financial analysts, regulators, and other users of financial statements might use this model to pre-screen potential earnings manipulators in the credit evaluation system. Especially, this model will be helpful for the loan evaluators of financial institutes to decide more objective and effective credit ratings and to improve the quality of financial statements.

플랜트 건설 공사를 위한 사업관리 전문가 시스템의 개발 (Development of Expert system for Plant Construction Project Management)

  • 건설업에 있어서의 프로젝트 관리 즉, 사업 관리는 다른 분야에 비해 여러 가지 요인들로 인해 상대적으로 매우 높은 불확실성과 위험을 수반하게 되며, 이러한 불확실성과 위험으로 인해 건설업에서의 사업관리의 중요성이 매우 크게 인식되고 있다. 사업관리 단계에 있어 사업 정의 및 사업 계획 단계와 사업 설게 및 사업 수행 단계를 자동 또는 반자동적으로 동시에 일관성을 유지시킬 수 있는 체제의 확립이 절실하다고 판단되며, 이를 지원할 수 있는 지원시스템의 필요성이 부각되고 있다. 그러나 이들 초기 단계의 업무는 사업 설계 및 사업 수행 단계와 비교해 상대적으로 비정형적으며, 해당 기업의 축적된 노하우나 전문적 지식에 대한 의존성이 강함으로 인해 쉽게 시스템적 지원을 제공하는데 어려움을 가지고 있다. 특히 이러한 문제는 본 연구에서 대상으로 하고 있는 플랜트 건설 분야에서는 매우 두드러지게 나타나고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 사업 관리 시스템과 연계될 수 있도록 할 수 있는 체계적 접근 방법을 제시하고 이를 구현함으로써 이상의 문제에 대한 하나의 해결 방법을 제시하고 있다. 이러한 해결 방안을 위한 주요 방법론으로서는 지식 기반 추론과 사례기반 추론 및 신경회로망 기법을 체택하고 있으며 덧붙여, 본 연구에서 개발된 사업 관리 전문가 시스템은 국내 굴지의 건설 회사의 열병 합발전소와 하수처리장 건설을 위한 실제 사업 관리 업무에 적용되어 그 성과를 경험적으로 검증하고 있다. 나아가 이러한 실제 적용 사례는 본 방법론 및 시스템이 다른 플랜트 건설 분야에서도 성공적으로 적용될 수 있으며, 따라서 플랜트 건설 분야에서의 사업 관리 업무의 질적 향상과 생산성의 제고에 기여할 수 있음을 시사하고 있다.

보건학 전공 대학생 대상 금연교육 프로그램 개발 (Development of Smoking Cessation Education Program for University Students Majoring in Health Sciences)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to develop a smoking cessation education program and to provide basic data for evaluating program for university students majoring in health sciences. Methods: The education program was developed based on the instructional system design model(ADDIE), that was based on literature review, brainstorming, and interviews of related experts. Education program was implemented for 2 sessions of 3 hours to the 82 university students majoring in health science. Knowledge, competency, and self-efficacy for performance of smoking cessation were analyzed. One group pre- & post-test design was used for evaluation of this program. Results: In the analysis stage, a total of 5 duties, 16 tasks, and 55 task elements were derived. In the design and development stage, based on job analysis, education program contents were composed of understanding tobacco, planning and implementation of smoking cessation program, smoking cessation counseling and drug treatment. After this education program, students achieved remarkable improvement in increasing knowledge, competency, and self-efficacy for smoking cessation counselling and program. Conclusions: It is needed to be included the smoking cessation education in department related to health science regular course.

  • Reliability is a multi-disciplinary subject in essence because it is necessary to have knowledge about engineering such as mechanical, electronic and communication engineering as well as statistics and management in order to enhance the reliability of a system or a product. Therefore, it is important to standardize terminology in reliability. In this paper, we show how the task of terminology standardization in reliability is undertaken.

IT 지원 조직의 조직 적합성에 관한 연구 : 농촌 IT 지원조직의 사례 (A Study on the Organizational Fit of IT Supporting Organizations : A Case of IT Supporting Agricultural Promotion Agencies)

  • The concrete information technology (IT) has affected ways for supporting agricultural products. However, studies relating IT to agriculture in a broader sense have not been prevalent. The objective of this study is to improve agencies' effectiveness and performance in the use and application of IT through understanding the organizational fit and misfit. This research applied a multi-contingency view to Korean IT supporting agricultural promotion agencies and it evaluated the competitiveness of these agencies with reference to the correspondence of factors (Goal, Strategy, Environment, Knowledge Exchange, Task Design, and Information System) affecting their performance with organizational goals. The results reveal that organizations with good performance show better organizational fit with their organizational goal. This study contributes to the ways of efficient IT management in agricultural organizations in Korea.

  • 컴퓨터가 장착되어 고도의 자동화된, 혹은 지능화된 비행기 조종실(cockpit)과 같이 기계와 그 기계를 운영하는 인간 작업자로 구성되어 있는 인간 기계 시스템에서, 안전하고 효과적인 시스템 수행을 위해 두 구성요소 (기계와 인간)는 상대의 의도와 목적에 대해 충분한 지식과 정보를 공유해야 한다. 기계 인간 상호간의 의도와 목적을 정확히 파악하지 못하거나 서로의 목적이 상충되어 일어나는 항공 사고들이 종종 발생되고 있다. 인간과 기계 상호간의 의도와 목적을 정확히 파악하고 그 목적들의 수행을 체계적으로 관리하는 기술의 연구는 미미하다. 인간과 지능화된 기계 상호간 의도하는 바를 서로가 보다 정확히 인식하고 그 목적의 수행을 체계적으로 파악하는 기술이 요구되고 계속 축적되지 않는 한, 더욱더 복잡해져 가는 인간 기계 시스템의 안전하고 효율적인 운영방안을 내놓을 수 없다. 이를 위해 한 방안으로 본 논문은 상용 비행기의 조종실 운영시 인간 파일럿과 기계 파일럿의 목적 (Goal)과 그 목적을 수행하기 위한 직무 (Function)를 통합 관리하는 아젠다(Agenda)의 관리 (Agenda Management)의 에이젼트 기반 설계 및 그 평가를 다루고 있다.

  • 가설공사는 임시시설물이지만 공사기간동안 사용빈도가 높으며 공사비의 10% 내외를 차지하고 있어 체계적인 관리가 필요하다. 하지만 가설공사의 시공검측정보들은 설계도서 및 시방사항에 특별한 명시가 없는 경우가 많으며 제기준에 대한 사항도 방대하다. 이로 인해 가설공사에 대하여 품질점검을 실시할 경우 관련 점검업무들을 비효율적으로 수행하며, 인간적인 오류가 발생할 확률이 높다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 가설공사에 대하여 품질점검 업무수행을 지원하고 관련 정보를 제공할 수 있는 전자작업지원시스템을 적용하고자 한다. 이를 위해 IDEF0를 활용하여 업무 단위프로세스별 정보흐름을 규명하고 EPSS기반 품질점검 업무체계를 정리하여 프로토타입을 개발한다. 이후 현장적용을 통한 검증방법으로 가설공사 품질점검 업무의 효율과 정보접근성을 향상하고자 한다.

핵심역량 지향성과 프로세스 관리역량이 IT 아웃소싱 성과에 미치는 연구 (An Empirical Investigation into the Role of Core-Competency Orientation and IT Outsourcing Process Management Capability)

  • Recently, the role of IT service providers has been enlarged from managing a single function or system to reconstructing entire information management processes in new ways to contribute to shareholder value across the enterprise. This movement toward extensive and complex outsourcing agreements has been driven by the assumption that outsourcing information technology functions is a reliable approach to maximizing resource productivity. Hiring external IT service providers to manage part or all of its information-related services helps a firm focus on its core business and provides better services to its clients, thus obtaining sustainable competitive advantage. This practice of focusing on the strategic aspect of outsourcing is referred to as strategic sourcing where the focus is capability sourcing, not procurement. Given the importance of the strategic outsourcing, however, to our knowledge, there is little empirical research on the relationship between the strategic outsourcing orientation and outsourcing performance. Moreover, there is little research on the factor that makes the strategic outsourcing effective. This study is designed to investigate the relationship between strategic IT outsourcing orientation and IT outsourcing performance and the process through which strategic IT outsourcing orientation influences outsourcing performance, Based on the framework of strategic orientation-performance and core competence based management, this study first identifies core competency orientation as a proper strategic orientation pertinent to IT outsourcing and IT outsourcing process management capability as the mediator to affect IT outsourcing performance. The proposed research model is then tested with a sample of 200 firms. The findings of this study may contribute to the literature in two ways. First, it draws on the strategic orientation - performance framework in developing its research model so that it can provide a new perspective to the well studied phenomena. This perspective allows practitioners and researchers to look at outsourcing from an angle that emphasizes the strategic decision making to outsource its IT functions. Second, by separating the concept of strategic orientation and outsourcing process management capability, this study provides practices with insight into how the strategic orientation can work effectively to achieve an expected result. In addition, the current study provides a basis for future studies that examine the factors affecting IT outsourcing performance with more controllable factors such as IT outsourcing process management capability rather than external hard-to-control factors including trust and relationship management. This study investigates the major factors that determine IT outsourcing success. Based on strategic orientation and core competency theories, we develop the proposed research model to investigate the relationship between core competency orientation and IT outsourcing performance and the mediating role of IT outsourcing process management capability on IT outsourcing performance. The model consists of two independent variables (core-competency-orientation and IT outsourcing process management capability), and two dependent variables (outsourced task complexity and IT outsourcing performance). Comprehensive data collection was conducted through an outsourcing association. The survey data were analyzed using a structural analysis method. IT outsourcing process management capability was found to mediate the effect of core competency orientation on both outsourced task complexity and IT outsourcing performance. Further analysis and findings are discussed.
