Since the change in Doppler centroid according to moving targets brings alteration to the phase in azimuth differential signals of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data, one can measure the velocity of the moving targets using this effect. In this study, we will investigate theoretically measuring the velocity of an object from azimuth differential signals by using range compressed data which is the interim outcome of treatment from the simulated SAR raw data of moving targets on the background of sea clutter. Also, it will provide evaluation for the elements that affect the estimation error of velocity from a single SAR sensor. By making RADARSAT-1 simulated image as a specific case, the research includes comparisons for the means of velocity measurement classified by the directions of movement in the four following cases. 1. A case of a single target without currents, 2. A case of a single target with tidal currents of 0.5 m/s, 1 m/s, and 3 m/s, 3. A case of two targets on a same azimuth line moving in a same direction and velocity, 4. A case of a single target contiguous to land where radar backscatter is strong. As a result, when two moving targets exist in SAR image outside the range of approximately 256 pixels, the velocity of the object can be measured with high accuracy. However, when other moving targets exist in the range of approximately 128 pixels or when the target was contiguous to the land of strong backscatter coefficient (NRCS: normalized radar cross section), the estimated velocity was in error by 10% at the maximum. This is because in the process of assuming the target's location, an error occurs due to the differential signals affected by other scatterers.
In this paper, a new stereo object tracking system using the disparity motion vector is proposed. In the proposed method, the time-sequential disparity motion vector can be estimated from the disparity vectors which are extracted from the sequence of the stereo input image pair and then using these disparity motion vectors, the area where the target object is located and its location coordinate are detected from the input stereo image. Basing on this location data of the target object, the pan/tilt embedded in the stereo camera system can be controlled and as a result, stereo tracking of the target object can be possible. From some experiments with the 2 frames of the stereo image pairs having $256\times256$ pixels, it is shown that the proposed stereo tracking system can adaptively track the target object with a low error ratio of about 3.05 % on average between the detected and actual location coordinates of the target object.

Inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) image is a powerful tool to show the major scattering regions (scatterer points) on the target. It is normally used to identify and classify targets. Finding information for the scatter points of ISAR image plays an important role in modeling the features of targets. In this paper, we propose a modeling method to extract some information about the scatterer points by minimizing approximating error. Here, the extracted information include not only the location of scatterer points but also some statistical data about the error of the their location. These extracted data can be used to implement the randomness of the location of the scatterer points. Furthermore, we reconstruct an image from the extracted data for scatterer points obtained by our proposed method. And we show that the reconstructed ISAR image is well approximated to the original ISAR image in order to justify our proposed modeling method.

In this paper. we predict tracking performance of the probabilistic strongest neighbor filter (PSNF). The PSNF is known to be consistent and superior to the probabilistic data association filter (PDAF) in both performance and computation. The PSNF takes into account the probability that the measurement with the strongest intensity in the neighborhood of the predicted target measurement location is not target-originated. The tracking performance of the PSNF is quantified in terms of its estimation error covariance matrix. The estimation error covariance matrix is approximately evaluated by using the hybrid conditional average approach (HYCA). We performed numerical experiments to show the validity of our performance prediction.

We propose a method for removing interference and noise to estimate target information. In wireless channels, information signals are subject to interference and noise, making it is difficult to accurately estimate the desired signal. To estimate the desired information signal, it is essential to remove the noise and interference from the received signal, extracting only the desired signal. If the received signal noise and interference are not removed, the estimated information signal will have a large error in distance and direction, and the exact location of the target cannot be estimated. This study aims to accurately estimate the desired target in space. The objective is to achieve more presice target estimation than existing methods and enhance target resolution. An estimation method is proposed to improve the accuracy of target estimation. The proposed target estimation method obtains optimal weights using linear constraints and the minimum variance method. Through simulation, the performance of the proposed method and the existing method is analyzed. The proposed method successfully estimated all four targets, while the existing method only estimated two targets. The results show that the proposed method has better resolutiopn and superior estimation capability than the existing method.
The problem of establishing the servo system to reach the desired location keeping all features in the field of view and following a straight line is considered. In addition, robustness of camera calibration parameters is considered in this paper. The proposed approach is based on switching from position-based visual servoing (PBVS) to image-based visual servoing (IBVS) and allows the camera path to follow a straight line. To achieve the objective, a pose estimation method is required; the camera's target pose is estimated from the obtained images without the knowledge of the object. A switched control law moves the camera equipped to a robot end-effector near the desired location following a straight line in Cartesian space and then positions it to the desired pose with robustness to camera calibration error. Finally simulation results show the feasibility of the proposed visual servoing technique.
In this paper, an LQG/LTR procedure for stable nonminimum phase systems is suggested using predictor scheme. In the method, the performance of the target feedback loop can be easily adjusted and the recovery error is less dependent on the location of NMP zeros than previous methods. The gain and phase margin and the robust ness for modeluncertainty of the suggested control system are obtained.

In location finding system using spaced multi-sensor, Depending on the signal source's location and the location of the sensors Position estimation accuracy is determined. This phenomenon is called GDOP effect. and to minimize these effects, research is needed on how. In this paper, I will describe how to minimize GDOP effect, estimating GDOP using angle of arrivals of multi sensors, and removing sensor error factor.

Purpose: To assess the degree and clinical impact of location error of the dens on the X-axis during radiotherapy to brain and head and neck tumors. Materials and Methods: Twenty-one patients with brain tumors or head and neck tumors who received three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy or intensity-modulated radiation therapy from January 2009 to June 2010 were included in this study. In comparison two-dimensional verification portal images with initial simulation images, location error of the nasal septum and the dens on the X-axis was measured. The effect of set-up errors of the dens was simulated in the planning system and analyzed with physical dose parameters. Results: A total of 402 portal images were reviewed. The mean location error at the nasal septum was 0.16 mm and at the dens was 0.33 mm (absolute value). Location errors of more than 3 mm were recorded in 43 cases (10.7%) at the nasal septum, compared to 133 cases (33.1%) at the dens. There was no case with a location error more than 5 mm at the nasal septum, compared to 11 cases (2.7%) at the dens. In a dosimetric simulation, a location error more than 5 mm at the dens could induce a reduction in the clinical target volume 1 coverage (V95: 100%${\rightarrow}$87.2%) and overdosing to a critical normal organ (Spinal cord V45: <0.1%${\rightarrow}$12.6%). Conclusion: In both brain and head and neck radiotherapy, a relatively larger set-up error was detected at the dens than the nasal septum when using an electronic portal imaging device. Consideration of the location error of the dens is necessary at the time of the precise radiation beam delivery in two-dimensional verification systems.
