In biometric and biomedical applications, a special transporting mechanism must be designed for the ${\mu}$TAS (micro total analysis system) to move samples and reagents through the microchannels that connect the unit procedure components in the system. An important issue for this miniaturization and integration is microfluid management technique, i.e., microfluid transportation, metering, and mixing. In view of this, this study presents an optimal fuzzy sliding-mode control (OFSMC) design based on the 8051 microprocessor and implementation of a complete microfluidic manipulated system implementation of biochip system with a pneumatic pumping actuator, a feedback-signal photodiodes and flowmeter. The new microfluid management technique successfully improved the efficiency of molecular biology reaction by increasing the velocity of the target nucleic acid molecules, which increases the effective collision into the probe molecules as the target molecules flow back and forth. Therefore, this hybridization chip was able to increase hybridization signal 6-fold and reduce non-specific target-probe binding and background noises within 30 minutes, as compared to conventional hybridization methods, which may take from 4 hours to overnight. In addition, the new technique was also used in DNA extraction. When serum existed in the fluid, the extraction efficiency of immobilized beads with solution flowing back and forth was 88-fold higher than that of free-beads.

This paper presents the extraction scheme of the scattered waves by a target above the ground using the buried antenna in a lossy and dispersive medium. The half wave dipole antennas are used to transmit and to receive a signal. The transmission line model as a feeding model is considered to take into account the effect of transmission line in a real system. The ground is modeled by the 2nd order Debye approximation with the dispersion and loss. PLRC algorithm and DPML as absorbing boundary condition are utilized to apply the 2nd order Debye approximation to FDTD. To extract the scattered wave, in addition, we employed the delay time extraction algorithm. The simulations are conducted to observe the variation of magnitude in scattered wave and detection of target position according to the change of moisture content of the lossy medium.

Simultaneous determination of three corticosteroids (clobetasol propionate, betamethasone dipropionate, fluticasone propionate) in moisturizers was performed by using liquid chromatography (LC) coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS). Sample preparation was conducted by the liquid-liquid extraction (LLE). Moisturizers include emulsifying agent and it forms micelles. In order to improve the extraction efficiency of corticosteroids trapped in micelle, newly developed-optimized extraction conditions which can remove the matrix effect from moisturizers was applied with various pH conditions in LLE extraction stage of sample preparation. Thus, the addition of 10 μL of 1 M HCl into moisturizers sample before extraction could improve the extraction efficiency. For the quantitative analysis, SRM table that contained specific transition of all of target corticosteroids was created. The developed method was validated for linearity, accuracy, precision, limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantization (LOQ) and recovery. Over the 0.99 r2 value was obtained in calibration standard range. Effective accuracy and precision were also obtained. LODs were below 31 ng/mL and LOQs were estimated below 94 ng/mL for all corticosteroids tested.

As first step of any acoustic defence system, a attacking target warning system needs to be extremely reliable. This means the system must ensure a high probability of target classification together with a very low false alarm rate. In this paper, a algorithms for underwater target automatic classification is available for use in the passive sonar will be presented. In first, we will describe the precise automatic extraction of frequency lines for the detection of acoustic signatures. Also, a neural network and fuzzy based algorithms for target classification will be described. Thus the performances of these algorithms are very good with a high probability of classification.

In this paper, we propose a counter-countermeasure (CCM) in a crossed array tracker for efficient target tracking under countermeasures (CM) operated by a target. The proposed CCM adepts two detection bands and uses the signal distribution characteristics to discriminate between the target and the CMs. To avoid wrong detection of a target position due to missing signal pulses, it predicts current target position based on previous target position. To evaluate the performance of the proposed CCM in a crossed array tracker, we perform numerical simulations for target signal extraction and target tracking under various conditions. The simulation results show that the proposed CCM removes the CM effect well and tracks the target efficiently.

In this paper, Cellular and Smart phone for mobile forensics SYN scheme and JTAG scheme to target Cellular and Smart phone for the extraction of forensic data will be studied. SYN, JTAG approach to forensic analysis indicate with the process, Every Smart phone's OS specific performance and data extraction were compared. In the laboratory, Cell and smart phone with the SYN scheme and JTAG scheme to extract forensic data Improvement compared to the extraction is presented.
3D human body scan technique is known to be practically useful in industrial field as the technique becomes more precise and cheaper. Landmark extraction is essential for full utilization of the scan data. In this paper, we suggest an algorithm for automatic landmark extraction. For this purpose, we perform markerless matching to the target data using PCA analysis and quasi-Newton optimization. Landmarks are extracted from the topology of resulting body.

In this paper, We propose a new technique for extraction of moving objects included in compressed video signal. Moving object extraction is used in several fields such as contents based retrieval and target tracking. In this paper, in order to extract moving object blocks, motion vectors and DCT coefficients are used selectively. The proposed algorithm has a merit that it is no need of perfect decoding, because it uses only coefficients on the DCT transform domain. We used three test video sequences in the computer simulation, and obtained satisfactory results.

In this paper, we analyzed the performance of radar target classification using the monostatic and bistatic radar cross section(RCS) for four different wire targets. Short time Fourier transform(STFT) and continuous wavelet transform (CWT) were used for feature extraction from the monostatic RCS and the bistatic RCS of each target, and a multi-layered perceptron(MLP) neural network was used as a classifier. Results show that CWT yields better performance than STFT for both the monostatic RCS and the bistatic RCS. And, when STFT was used, the performance of the bistatic RCS was slightly better than that of the monostatic RCS. However, when CWT was used, the performance of the monostatic RCS was slightly better than that of the bistatic RCS. Resultingly, it is proven that bistatic RCS is a good cadndidate for application to radar target classification in combination with a monostatic RCS.
In this study, we analyzed how to steal the target model without training data. Input data is generated using the generative model, and a similar model is created by defining a loss function so that the predicted values of the target model and the similar model are close to each other. At this time, the target model has a process of learning so that the similar model is similar to it by gradient descent using the logit (logic) value of each class for the input data. The tensorflow machine learning library was used as an experimental environment, and CIFAR10 and SVHN were used as datasets. A similar model was created using the ResNet model as a target model. As a result of the experiment, it was found that the model stealing method generated a similar model with an accuracy of 86.18% for CIFAR10 and 96.02% for SVHN, producing similar predicted values to the target model. In addition, considerations on the model stealing method, military use, and limitations were also analyzed.
