LPG 탱크로리 수송중 위험성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Risk Assessment in LPG Transportation by Tank Lorry)

  • Demand of LPG and LNG will increase continuously due to high calories, clearness, and convenience for usage. These gases are used widely for power plants, industrial plants, and domestic fuel. But accidents related with gas are increasing in proportion to increment of gas usage. Especially LPG has high ignitability due to weak dispersion to air and accumulation at low place because LPG is heavier than air. There are many hazards during transportation as well as production, storage, and usage of LPG. Commonly, tank lorry is used for inland transportation of LPG. If tank lorry were to raise leakage incidents and then LPG released during transporting, the accidents cause serious effects on the environment as well as human damage of surrounding area. In this study, therefore, hazards which cause LPG of tank lorry to leak during transportation were identified and risk of LPG transportation was assessed quantitatively. Also, the result of this study might be a useful measure for predicting damage and preparing safe transportation strategies of LPG tank lorry.

  • 독성가스나 가연성 폭발 위험이 있는 원료를 운반하는 탱크로리 및 벌크로리는 출발지에서부터 목적지 및 중간 경로를 따라 지속적으로 차량 및 탱크의 다양한 상태를 모니터링하는 것이 안전을 위해 필요하다. 따라서, 본 논문은 탱크로리 운행에 관한 안전 모니터링 시스템에 관하여 제안하고, 운전상태 및 탱크 또는 차량의 상태를 모니터링하기 위한 센서시스템과 차량 내 컴퓨터와 중앙 관제 시스템의 연계에 관하여 고찰한다.

  • In this paper, a robot automation technology for chemical tank lorry unloading is presented. Handling chemical coupler between tank lorry and ACQC system may be hazardous or toxic to human operators, therefore robot automation is essential. Due to tight tolerance between couplers, even small pose error may result in very large internal force. In order to resolve the problem, compliance between male and female couplers should be introduced with 6-axis compliance device with F/T sensing. The proposed robot automation system consists of a collaborative robot, 6-ax is compliance device with F/T sensing, linear gripper, and robot vision. The position/force control algorithm and experimental results for assembling chemical couplers are presented.

  • 석유화학 공장에서 화학 물질을 수송하는 탱크로리의 잠재적인 위험(사고의 크기 그리고 영향, 사회적인 위험)이 증가함에 따라 다양한 화학물질에 대한 운송안전 평가기준의 정립과 적극적인 위험성 평가에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 최대예상사고분석(maximum credible accident analysis) 기법을 적용하여 "첫째 탱크로리를 이용한 취급화학물질의 대표적인 종류와 기준 비교 둘째 잠재위험에 대한 세분화된 구분 셋째 가상 사고 시나리오 파악 및 인식 넷째 가상 사고 시나리오별 위험성평가(정성/정량 - 누출원 모텔링)" 단계적 (4단계) 위험성평가를 통한 위험관리체계를 연구하였다.

염산 운송차량의 누출공 크기와 누출률 및 영향범위간 상관관계 연구 (A Study on the Correlation between Leak Hole Size, Leak Rate, and the Influence Range for Hydrochloric Acid Transport Vehicles)

  • Objectives: The correlation between the size of a leak hole, the volume of the leakage, and the range of influence was investigated for a hydrochloric acid tank-lorry. Methods: For the case of a tank-lorry chemical accident, KORA (Korea Off-site Risk Assessment Supporting Tool) was used to predict the leak rate and the range of influence according to the size of the leak hole. The correlation was studied using R. Results: As a result of analyzing the leak rate change according to the leak hole size in a 35% hydrochloric acid tank-lorry, as the size of the leak hole increased from 1 to 100 mm, the leak rate increased from 0.008 to 83.94 kg/sec, following the power function. As a result of calculating the range of influence under conditions ranging from 1 to 100 mm in size and 10 to 60 minutes of leakage time, it was found that the range spanned from a minimum of 5.4 m to a maximum of 307.9 m. As a result of multiple regression analysis using R, the quadratic function model best explained the correlation between the size of the leak hole, the leak time, and the range of influence with an adjected coefficient of determination of 0.97 and a root mean square error of 22.33. Conclusion: If a correlation database for the size of a leak hole is accumulated for various substances and under various conditions, the amount of leakage and the range of influence can easily be calculated, facilitating field response activities.

염화메틸렌 중독에 의한 사망 1례 (A Fatal Case of Methylene Chloride Poisoning)

  • A 52-year-old man was found dead in the driver's seat of his tank lorry. The tank lorry was used to transport industrial wastewater to a disposal plant; the material was transferred into a storage tank with the help of compressed air. The wastewater contained methylene chloride and 2-chloropyridine. No respiratory protective equipment was used while working under these conditions. The autopsy report showed extensive edema and congestion of the brain, lung, and intraperitoneal organs. The concentrations of methylene chloride in lung and brain were reported at 398 and 67 mg/kg, respectively.

  • 연구목적: 유해화학물질인 염산수용액 운송 탱크로리 누출사고 발생 시 신속하게 누출을 차단하고, 효과적으로 방재작업을 진행하여 누출로 인한 피해를 최소화하는 최적의 방안을 찾고자 하는 데 있다. 연구방법: 염산에 대한 전반적인 특성과 운송 도중 발생했었던 사고사례를 사고 유형별, 원인별로 정리하고, 염산 탱크로리의 누출 상황을 가정하여 실험할 수 있는 소형 탱크를 만들어 누출 상황과 비슷한 환경을 구성하여 여러 가지 방법으로 누출 차단 방법을 실험하여 정리하고자 한다. 연구결과: 실험을 통하여 효과적인 누출 차단 방법을 확인하였다. 누출사고 발생 시 신속하게 차단하는 방안을 정리하여, 사고현장에서 적용할 수 있는 최적의 방재방안을 제시하고자 한다. 결론: 누출 차단은 접착테이프와 자석을 조합하여 사용하는 편이 차단에 효과적인 것으로 확인됐다. 사업장 비상 출동팀 및 제품 운송기사들에게 누출 차단 장비를 적절하게 선택하여 대응하도록 반복 훈련하면 신속한 대응이 가능하다. 향후 다양한 누출 차단 방안에 관한 추가적인 연구의 진행이 필요하다.

경유와 메탄올의 유출속도에 따른 화재특성 (Fire Characteristics for Spill Rate of Light oil and Methanol)

  • In this study, tank truck incidents of road transport of hazardous materials to experimental investigated the potential fire hazard. Real scale fire was to perform experiments for on this qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis. Particularly affected by radiant heat from the flames caused and damage estimates range investigated accordingly. Flame temperature, internal temperature of tank and emitted radiation from the flames was investigated. The flame of light oil spill caused a fire at a temperature of about $300^{\circ}C$ high in comparison with the methanol by combustion of diesel and methanol, according to the difference, the flame duration changes varies depending on the Burning rate. Depending on spill rate(30, 60, 90 and $120{\ell}/min$) and the longer the duration of the flame important factors for the internal temperature of tank lorry rise was found. Road accident in a fire caused by leakage of hazardous was could the higher the damaged. Therefor, Fire suppression activities should be required in particular to be around.
