다구찌 기법과 요인실험의 실험 데이터의 산포 크기에 따라 결과 변화 고찰 (Study on the Result Changes with the Size of the Variance in Taguchi Method and Factor Experimental)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to show whether the results are changed with respect to the variance of the data, by analysis of data obtained from the Taguchi experimental techniques and general experiment. Because which cannot be prove by mathematical Formula, through experimental examples will show. Methods: Taguchi experiments were carried out with paper Helicopter experiment. Experimental Data are obtained by special designed Drop Test Equipment. While Experimental value arbitrarily changed, we looked at how Significant control Factor of Taguchi Methods and Factor experiments are changed. This process cannot be expressed as a Mathematical formula, but showed as a numerical example. Results: Saw significant changes in the factors when data is outside a certain range of the experimental data. By Test of Equivalence Variance, Experiment data is verified reliability. To find the Control Factor, Taguchi Method is better than the general experiment. Conclusion: We know that a Significant Factor is changed with the range of Variance of Experiment Data. The value of this paper is verified change process with Numerical Data obtained Experiment.

Taguchi-RSM 통합모델 제시 (The Development of Taguchi and Response Surface Method Combined Model)

  • Taguchi defined a good quality as 'A correspondence of product characteristic's expected value to the objective value satisfying the minimum variance condition.' For his good quality, he suggested Taguchi Method which is called Robust design which is irrelevant to the effect of these noise factors. Taguchi Method which has many success examples and which is used by many manufacturing industry. But Optimal solution of Taguchi Method is one among the experiments which is not optimal area of experiment point. On the other hand, Response Surface Method (RSM) which has advantage to find optimal solution area experiments points by approximate polynomial regression. But Optimal of RSM is depended on initial point and RSM can not use many factors because of a great many experiment. In this paper, we combine the Taguchi Method and the Response Surface Method with each advantage which is called Taguchi-RSM. Taguchi-RSM has two step, first step to find first solution by Taguchi Method, second step to find optimal solution by RSM with initial point as first step solution. We give example using catapults.

칩브레이크 선정을 위한 Taguchi 방법의 적용 (Application of Taguchi Method for the Selection of Chip Breaker)

  • Chip control is a major problem in automatic machining process, especially in finish turning operation. In this case, chip breaker is one of the important factors to be determined. As unbroken chips are grown. these deteriorate the surface roughness. and proces automation can not be carried out. In this study to get rid of chip curling problem while turning internal hole. optimal chip breaker is selected from the experiment. The experiment is planned with Taguchi's method that is based on the orthogonal arrary of design factors. From the response table. cutting speed, feedrate, depth of cut and tool geometry turn to be major factors affecting chip formation. Then, optimal chip breaker is selected. and this is verified as good enough for chip control from the experiment.

  • 클러스터형의 다중 공정용 장치에 부착키 위해 제작된 콘택 산화막 식각용 공정모듈에 대한 적정 식각 공정조건을 확립하기 위해, Taguchi 방법을 활용하여 공정최적화 실험을 수행하였다. Taguchi 실험은 2회에 걸쳐 시행되었는데, 제1차 실험은 장비변수에 대한 식각공정변수의 개괄적 거동을 타진하기 위함이었고, 제2차 실험은 상세 공정조건 확립을 위해서였다. 실험 및 분석 결과 $CHF_{3}/CF_{4}$ 가스유량은 72/8sccm, 공정압력은 50 mTorr, RF 전력은 500 Watts, 자계강도는 90 Gauss일때 최적 공정 성능을 발휘함을 알 수 있다.

  • In this paper, an optimum design center frequency proposes portable RFID reader antenna that is 920MHz frequency using the Taguchi's Method. Proposed antenna is cut corner of opposite angle and it's structure that have slots in four sides microstrip patch of a perfect square shape. This slot structure can miniaturize microstrip patch antenna and confirmed through an experiment that size of antenna about 18% decreases than structure that slot does not exist. Because compact antenna that have structure of slot changes according to complex design variables, analysis and experimental design for minimization of experiment number of times are required for optimum antenna design. In this research, designed antenna that have optimum structure when introduce and designs table of orthogonal arrays of the Taguchi's Method been experimental design that can minimize analysis and experiment number of times, achieve responsiveness analysis of main elements and analyzes the effect and minimizes design repeat with analysis result. Presented experiment result about antenna special quality that permittivity is 4.4 and manufactures to board of Epoxy 3.2T.

  • A die cast impeller blade has been developed in the effort on cost reduction in marine equipment industry. The purpose of this work is to optimize the die casting process using Taguchi's design of experiment for minimizing the internal defect of the die cast impeller blade. The experiments were preformed using the numerical simulation based on the L18 orthogonal array. As a results, the internal defect size of the die cast impeller blade for optimal design was controlled less than 1mm.

  • End-milling have been used in the industrial world because it is very effective to the manufacture of mechanical parts with various shape. Recently the end-milling processing is needed the high-precise technique with good surface roughness and rapid time in aircraft, automobile part and molding industry. Therefore this study carried to decide the optimum cutting condition for surface roughness and rapid manufacturing time using design of experiment and ANOVA. From the results of experimentation, surface roughness have an effect on cutting direction, spindle speed and depth of cut. And then the optimum condition used Taguchi design is upward cutting in cutting direction, 600rpm in spindle speed, 240mm/min feed rate, 2mm in axial depth of cut and 0.25mm radial depth of cut. By using design of experiment, it is effectively represented shape characteristics of working surface in end-milling.

  • In recent industry, according to pursuit the miniaturization and high-precision of machine part with development of new technology as IT, BT the development of mold manufacturing technology for mass production is accompanied. In this study, the spiral type injection mold with a $200{\mu}m$ thickness shape is made for investigation of influence for injection molding process variables and the flow length is measured through an experiment. Beside, the result of each experiment Is compared with the analysis result of CAE. Taguchi method is used in this experiment and the obtained data are analyzed using ANOVA method.

에이전트기반 다구찌 실험계획 의사결정지원시스템 (Agent-Based Decision-Supporting System for Taguchi Experiment Planning)

  • 본 논문은 에이전트기반 다구찌 실험계획 의사결정지원 시스템의 개발에 관해 다루고 있다. 다구찌 실험을 구성하는 네 개의 단계 중 실험계획단계는 실험목적, 품질특성, 인자선정 등과 같이 실험의 근간이 되는 가장 중요한 의사결정을 포함하고 있으면서도 지금까지 그 중요성이 간과되어 왔다. 본 연구에서 개발된 시스템은 에이전트를 기반으로 하는 두 개이 의사결정지원 메커니즘을 통해 실험설계자의 다구찌 실험계획을 지원한다. 첫 번째로, 도메인 지식제공 메커니즘은 수집 에이전트라는 인터넷 에이전트를 이용하여 분산된 지식제공자들로부터 실험의 대상이 되는 분야의 지식을 수집하고, 보고 에이전트를 이용하여 이를 정리 및 가시화하여 실험설계자에게 보고함으로써 다구찌 실험계획의 의사결정을 지원한다. 이 메커니즘을 이용하면 시간적, 지리적으로 회의를 갖기 어려운 지식제공자들도 동이란 실험팀을 이루어 브레인스토밍을 통한 실험계획의 의사결정에 기여할 수 있다. 두 번째로, 상황감지 도움말 메커니즘은 도움말 에이전트라는 지능형 에이전트를 통하여 실험설계자의 설계 행위를 관찰하고 그 상태를 파악하여 상황에 알맞은 도움말을 적절한 시점에 제공하다. 상황감지 도움말 메커니즘은 도메인 지식제공 메커니즘과 더불어 실험설계자의 의사결정오류를 줄여 실험의 신뢰성을 증가시키며, 불필요한 시간과 자원의 낭비를 막을 수 있다.

  • A study to analyze and solve problems of polyacetal resin cutting experiment has presented in this paper. We have taken Taguchi's parameter design approach, specifically orthogonal array, and determined the optimal levels of the selected variables through analysis of the experimental results using S/H ratio.
