New proteomic techniques have been pioneered extensively in recent years, enabling the high-throughput and systematic analyses of cellular proteins in combination with bioinformatic tools. Furthermore, the development of such novel proteomic techniques facilitates the elucidation of the functions of proteins under stress or disease conditions, resulting in the discovery of biomarkers for responses to environmental stimuli. The ultimate objective of proteomics is targeted toward the entire proteome of life, subcellular localization biochemical activities, and the regulation thereof. Comprehensive analysis strategies of proteomics can be classified into three categories: (i) protein separation via 2-dimensional gel electrophoresis (2-DE) or liquid chromatography (LC), (ii) protein identification via either Edman sequencing or mass spectrometry (MS), and (iii) proteome quantitation. Currently, MS-based proteomics techniques have shifted from qualitative proteome analysis via 2-DE or 2D-LC coupled with off-line matrix assisted laser desorption ionization (MALDI) and on-line electrospray ionization (ESI) MS, respectively, toward quantitative proteome analysis. In vitro quantitative proteomic techniques include differential gel electrophoresis with fluorescence dyes. protein-labeling tagging with isotope-coded affinity tags, and peptide-labeling tagging with isobaric tags for relative and absolute quantitation. In addition, stable isotope-labeled amino acids can be in vivo labeled into live culture cells via metabolic incorporation. MS-based proteomics techniques extend to the detection of the phosphopeptide mapping of biologically crucial proteins, which ale associated with post-translational modification. These complementary proteomic techniques contribute to our current understanding of the manner in which life responds to differing environment.
However, in order to create a stereoscopic 3D image, independently, it is required to spend expensive manufacturing costs and to have special techniques. As 3D display devices have been generalized, there is an increasing need for implementing a stereoscopic 3D image without a burden of expensive costs. This paper proposes some methods to implement stereoscopic 3D images easily by utilizing a marker tracking technology using a single camera. In addition, the study made it possible for the resolution of an image to be adjustable dynamically. This paper will be committed to the promotion of the field of UCC (User Created Contents) using stereoscopic 3D images by attracting the active participation of general users in the field of the implementation of stereoscopic 3D images.
Protein kinase C (PKC) has been implicated in carcinogenesis and displays variable expression profiles during cancer progression. Studies of dietary phytochemicals on cancer signalling pathway regulation have been conducted to search for potent signalling regulatory agents. The present study was designed to evaluate any suppressive effect of maslinic acid on PKC expression in human B-lymphoblastoid cells (Raji cells), and to identify the PKC isoforms expressed. Effects of maslinic acid on PKC activity were determined using a PepTag$^{(R)}$ assay for non-radioactive detection of PKC. The highest expression in Raji cells was obtained at 20 nM PMA induced for 6 hours. Suppressive effects of maslinic acid were compared with those of four PKC inhibitors (H-7, rottlerin, sphingosine, staurosporine) and two triterpenes (oleanolic acid and ursolic acid). The $IC_{50}$ values achieved for maslinic acid, staurosporine, H-7, sphingosine, rottlerin, ursolic acid and oleanolic acid were 11.52, 0.011, 0.767, 2.45, 5.46, 27.93 and $39.29\;{\mu}M$, respectively. Four PKC isoforms, PKC ${\beta}I$, ${\beta}II$, ${\delta}$, and ${\zeta}$, were identified in Raji cells via western blotting. Maslinic acid suppressed the expression of PKC ${\beta}I$, ${\delta}$, and ${\zeta}$ in a concentration-dependent manner. These preliminary results suggest promising suppressive effects of maslinic acid on PKC activity in Raji cells. Maslinic acid could be a potent cancer chemopreventive agent that may be involved in regulating many downstream signalling pathways that are activated through PKC receptors.

Although the previous information technologies had been used for the quick and accurate processing of work, At present, however, as the combination with the Internet, the IOT(Internet-of-Things) era in which the diverse pieces of information are collected and handled through the sensor networks is in progress. Among these application fields of the IoT, the indoors position identification technology has been developing in the direction of providing the position information in the buildings of which the lengths and the interiors are complicated and in the direction of providing the various pieces of information and others of the like to the nearby customers. In this paper, we proposed an indoors position identification system that detects the patrol positions of the prison officers in the correctional facilities and in the prisons by using the ultrasonic waves, that transmits these to the control system and the data gateway, and that transmits the detected data. The Indoors Positioning identification System is organized with the tags for recognizing the positions that transmit the ultrasonic signal, ultrasonic receiver and data gateway. And the indoors position information data were transmitted to the management system through the data gateway. We evaluated the transmission error, by changing the distance of the proposed system for location recognition tag and the receiver, As a result, we found out that, when the transmission distance was 10 cm or less, the errors occurred in the form of the distortions. And when it was 110 cm or more, the transmission errors occurred due to the propagation diminutions of the ultrasonic wave signals. And when the transmission distance was from 10 cm to 100 cm, it was shown that the proposed system was possible without any errors.

We use the electrical energy and it is essential energy in modern life, but we lay cable underground due to the issue for environment and safety. Safety for worker is still insufficient for the development of safety equipment and related research has been focused on the cable lifetime diagnosis at underground cable work. I have to develop live line detector around the magnetic field were investigated at underground cable. In this paper, we were investigated by variation of coil turns and load due to detection of magnetic field at lines around. And detected value of developing products compared with measured value of milli-gauss meter. As a result, the value of the number of coil turns was found to be proportional to the measured value. But turn-numbers increase showed that the weak noise. I could be confirmed that sensor showed the optimum value from 4,000 to 5,0000.

In railway systems, the exchange of information between running trains and wayside equipment is a very important role in various applications such as position detection and train control. Track circuits have been used as the medium for information transmission between trains and wayside. However, track circuits must be installed continuously along the track on the ground, resulting in an inevitable increase in installation and maintenance costs. One of the most promising solutions to reduce these costs is to mix continuous information transmission (via wireless communication) and discontinuous information transmission (via transponder). In this study, we designed antennas of railway high-speed transponder readers and tags for wireless power transmission, which can be used to transmit information from ground to high-speed trains with a maximum speed of 400km/h. We also verified system performance through computational simulation and prototyping.

Today, domestic and foreign manufacturing industries have to cope with obsolescence of manufacturing equipment because the shifting market trends drive the rapid changes in the production process resulting in stressful operation. Quality control process for manufacturing and production involves a familiar step - when the production process is completed, every item is subjected to various routine tests to determine that it meets the minimum quality standards. Typically, when a faulty product is found, the production line has to be stopped and the current batch is marked for further inspected and exhaustive testing. In this research, we propose a quality monitoring system for productivity enhancement. Our approach aims to reduces the operational down time in the production line of a car-component factory. The proposed monitoring system for productivity enhancement is designed to collect the data through testing at each phase of the assembly line and uses predictive methods on the collected data to achieve early detection of faults in the production process and minimize the number of products in a faulty batch thus minimizing the losses incurred from defective products. More importantly, this system aims to forecast and proactively detect faults and activate warnings when they are detected thus minimizing items in the defective batch, reducing the damage to manufacturing equipment and ultimately reducing the operational downtime or the delay in the resumption of normal factory operation.

There is an increasing demand for high throughput (HTP) methods for gene analysis on a genome-wide scale. However, the current repertoire of HTP detection methodologies allows only a limited range of cellular phenotypes to be studied. We have constructed two HTP-optimized expression vectors generated from the red fluorescent reporter protein (RFP) gene. These vectors produce RFP-tagged target proteins in a multiple expression system using gateway cloning technology (GCT). The RFP tag was fused with the cloned genes, thereby allowing us localize the expressed proteins in mammalian cells. The effectiveness of the vectors was evaluated using an HTP-screening system. Sixty representative human C2 domains were tagged with RFP and overexpressed in HiB5 neuronal progenitor cells, and we studied in detail two C2 domains that promoted the neuronal differentiation of HiB5 cells. Our results show that the two vectors developed in this study are useful for functional gene analysis using an HTP-screening system on a genome-wide scale.

In this study, we expressed cotA laccase from Bacillus subtilis on the surface of B. subtilis spores for efficient decolorization of synthetic dyes. The cotE, cotG, and cotY genes were used as anchoring motifs for efficient spore surface display of cotA laccase. Moreover, a $His_6$ tag was inserted at the C-terminal end of cotA for the immunological detection of the expressed fusion protein. Appropriate expression of the CotE-CotA (74 kDa), CotG-CotA (76 kDa), and CotY-CotA (73 kDa) fusion proteins was confirmed by western blot. We verified the surface expression of each fusion protein on B. subtilis spore by flow cytometry. The decoloration rates of Acid Green 25 (anthraquinone dye) for the recombinant DB104 (pSDJH-EA), DB104 (pSDJH-GA), DB104 (pSDJH-YA), and the control DB104 spores were 48.75%, 16.12%, 21.10%, and 9.96%, respectively. DB104 (pSDJH-EA) showed the highest decolorization of Acid Green 25 and was subsequently tested on other synthetic dyes with different structures. The decolorization rates of the DB104 (pSDJH-EA) spore for Acid Red 18 (azo dye) and indigo carmine (indigo dye) were 18.58% and 43.20%, respectively. The optimum temperature for the decolorization of Acid Green 25 by the DB104 (pSDJH-EA) spore was found to be $50^{\circ}C$. Upon treatment with known laccase inhibitors, including EDTA, SDS, and $NaN_3$, the decolorization rate of Acid Green 25 by the DB104 (pSDJH-EA) spore decreased by 23%, 80%, and 36%, respectively.
Drosophila melanogaster (fruits fly) is a representative model system widely used in biological studies because its brain function and basic cellular processes are similar to human beings. The whole head of the fly is often used to obtain the key function in brain-related diseases like degenerative brain diseases; however the biomolecular distribution of the head may be slightly different from that of a brain. Herein, lipid profiles of the head and dissected brain samples of Drosophila were studied using electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry (ESI-MS). According to the sample types, the detection of phospholipid ions was suppressed by triacylglycerol (TAG), or the specific phospholipid signals that are absent in the mass spectrum were measured. The lipid distribution was found to be different in the wild-type and the microRNA-14 deficiency model ($miR-14{\Delta}^1$) with abnormal lipid metabolism. A few phospholipids were also profiled by comparison of the head and the brain in two fly model systems. The mass spectra showed that the phospholipid distributions in the $miR-14{\Delta}^1$ model and the wild-type were different, and principal component analysis revealed a correlation between some phospholipids (phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), phosphatidylinositol (PI), and phosphatidylserine (PS)) in $miR-14{\Delta}^1$. The overall results suggested that brain-related lipids should be profiled using fly samples after dissection for more accurate analysis.
